Mumbai Local Trains Stories
hi all...I am new into blogging...but experiences probed to write something which at times made be amazed of life and people around...I travel by Mumbai local train to work and home...the most crowded at peak times ( working hours to be more specific).....we have different people around..i travel in first class....just to mention its not a hype or luxury kind of a thing...it is just so called dignified and educated class travel in these compartments....I saw a lady with a baby travelling yesterday...the train was also not so crowded on the harbour line...she entered...she gazed around for place to sit..as her baby was too small to stand for a longer period.....there were few young chicks sitting inside...but no one moved or offered her the seat...i was too standing so couldn’t do much about it....they were chatting....sleeping....listening to songs...but no one was bothered...I was wondering how educated we are? what are the parameters that we make to prove that i am a broad minded educated women!!!!.....still figuring it out....Is so called education has taught us to be inhuman or it has made us superficial superior person...where in i ask why should i do?.....I am at times surprised by the expressions of the people.. They make faces and even say at times uneducated...”gavaar” if a lady is asking for a fourth seat in a first class compartment....what do you wanna proe by such actions that u r well bought and belong to different elite sophisticated category.......why it is becoming so difficult to act like human..when u r born one...finally that women had to stand the whole journey.... I really wanna know where are our basics gone of being kind and helpful to others.....
