Pero, ¿que importancia tiene la reputacion Gaby, en un mundo lleno de #fakenews #fakeprofiles #fakelives ? Es valiosisima. Imaginaros, ayer estaba yo en una negociacion importante, de algunos millones de dolares, cuando mi igual del otro lado de la mesa me dice algo asi: “antes de sentarnos aqui, te investigue, hice un research sobre ti, y por eso estamos aqui sentados”. Esos research (cuando hablamos de negocios) no solo se hacen en Google, sino se hacen en la vida offline, y es lo que se llama el “World of Mouth o WOM”, que no es otra cosa lo que dicen de ti, y en los negocios, especificamente, lo que dicen de ti los que han hecho negocios contigo. El WOM es el resultado de tu reputacion, que bien puedes fingir en digital con #fakenews y #fakelives pero cuando pasa la prueba del business research (muy offline) se cae porque no coindice la realidad con la ficcion creada. Por eso aquel viejo dicho de “entre lo dicho y hecho, hay mucho trecho”. Una vez una amiga muy famosa, recuerdo que me hablaba de una persona de su pais y me decia: “en el mundo de los artistas, esta persona es conocida por hablar mucho pero no hace nada de lo que dice, puro bluff”. Segun ella, era un error hacer negocios con esa persona. Tu reputacion te antecede, y es lo mas valorado en el business, en la politica, la medicina; de ello depende tu posibilidad de hacer dinero o no, porque nadie quiere hacer negocios con gente que tiene una reputacion “dudosa”. Pero tambien sucede, que perfiles de reputacion “dudosa” se juntan para hacer negocios, y hasta elecciones. En vuestra empresa, vuestro servicio es quien genera esa reputacion, por eso debeis ser muy cuidadosos con ello. La calidad de vuestro producto; que deis lo que realmente ofreceis, es sin duda la clave de esa reputacion.
