Not exactly but it's weird it happened twice

These are old drafts (2021) but my sibling & I tried making Pokemon for fun to see how hard it is ..it very much was:p Not final design for either btw

The pom(Pompi) had 3 stages, the second stages represented the Pomeranian uglies. Oddly enough it was a grass type regional but the "original" was fire/volcanic type that has a final stage that makes them also marble/rock (the rock type was a reference to Michael Anglo, the sculptor who apparently had one while painting the 16 chapel, IDK how he got work done with these demanding devas) The change to grass types due inactive volcanoes in the current regions they are in.

Dex entry: They are cute, they are smart, and they know it. They will take advantage of trainers, not suitable for novices. It's fur feels soft but hardens into quills when startled.

Baby chicken (chic leaf) has dramatically changed, including its name but here's where we started. We did want this one to be a starter as opposed to Pomi who was just brought to the region. Chic leaf is a bird born to fight, literally, it was a fighting/grass type until we made it a grass/steel type later on. I wanted to make a baby grumpy bird because they all look mad to be here.

Dex: Due to its hard shell, only the strongest survive, Though human intervention has made it more possible for several to hatch.

Got a new PC, and with the current hype of pokemon rolling back in I thought it would be good to test the new rig out with drawing some starter for a fake pokemon dex I made for a series I call Pokemon: Myths and Legends. The theme of the dex/region of Etherica is that everything is modeled after a mythical creature/item/concept/being, including the starters! A fairy, kraken and phoenix.

Not sure when I'll draw their evolutions, or other pokemon from the dex, but let me know which pokemon you'd pick as your starter!

Name: Pixeony Category: The Fae Blossom Pokemon Type: Grass/Fairy Pokedex Entry: Pixeony is a fairy one with nature, and are known to dedicate much of their time to flower gardens of their own design. They take pride in their flora, and no two gardens are the same. Their touch of nature is said to be able to heal any plant life from natural causes. It is said that they will curse anyone who ruins their garden, even by stepping on one single flower.

Name: Crantide Category: The Abyss Pokemon Type: Water/Dark Pokedex Entry: This line is known for it's thievery, mostly from ships they come across in the sea. While it's final evolution, Abyssoul, is feared by sailors, Crantide can only wish to be as scary as it's final form. Many trainers are known to give them toy boats to make them feel strong and spooky. Giving Crantide any share of treasures will make them loyal to you.

Name: Pheeflare Category: The Ash Fire Pokemon Type: Fire/Flying Pokedex Entry: With wings too big for their small body, young Pheeflares struggle to take off and are known to wobble in the air. They generate constant ash, which was used in older times for rituals and soot drawings. This species has many historical ties to ancient magic, something they seem to pride themselves on.

Welcome to the Athora Region!!!

The Athora Region is a new fanmade pokemon region created by @cherristyx

I will post pokemon that are in this region along with any information on it here!!!

The starters have not been drawn yet

BUT

The grass starter is an Alligator

The water starter is an Osprey

And the fire starter is a kingsnake

And a few of the more early route pokemon are gonna be a normal-type snail, a rock type florida panther (final evo is rock/grass) a bug-type mosquito, and a dark type bat

The Legendaries are going to be a Poison/dark Skunk ape, and a dark/fairy florida bearcat (which is rumored to have come from a far away region)

Here is the map of the region so far

Please note this entire region is very early wip

The only pokemon i made that has a name so far is an astronaut crocodile named croconaut and its a dark/fire type

also i might not make any ice types for this region
