This is Chi, my fan vivosaur!

While preparing for ArtFight I knew I wanted to join team Fossil and draw Fossil Fighters characters but I didn't have any of my own... until like 2 days before July first this idea hit me like a wall.

Yi Qi is really cool and unique, could it be a vivosaur? ... it's from China... what type would it be? Oh wait, that's where fireworks are from! Surely I could come up with a good design with these ingredients..! The bottom image started as a quick doodle on my phone. I had to brainstorm the wing pattern a little but I knew it would have sparkler-trail tail feathers immediately. The real dinosaur may have been mostly dark with red on the head and I kept this "hot-headed" coloration.

And now I have Chi. 🎇 :)
