I feel like, yes people can fake love. If a person feels like they want something or is benefiting from their own partner they can and they will. Yeah Love can be shown by action and giving a person presents and affection but what is the worth of all of that if they inside don’t feel a thing about it. The reason why they do that if they are benefiting from that partner. That person that is being used can sometimes not realize it because they are blinded by love but that’s the sad truth that their partner can act that they are in love with them too.

Nikki Giovanni emphasized the importance of black men valuing and cherishing their women just as they would in any other community or setting. In the video, she told him to lie to her because if he can lie to everybody else in the world, can't he lie to her? And if he doesn't love her, then he should fake it. She doesn't want everyone else getting the good side of him and she gets the scary and angry side of him.
