Realistic: Kazuichi has a lisp dont @ me. There’s absolutely NO way having shark teeth doesnt affect how you talk to some degree
Funny: Kaz probably subscribed to a few of those “pickup artist” youtubers (you know the ones). he tried using some of the “advice” from them on how to be more confident around women and surprise to no one it just makes him sound like a tool. hard lesson learned for kazuichi to never listen to a dude who thinks alpha males are a thing
Heart-crushing: Kazuichi canonically has some trust issues so I say he hardly ever feels comfortable around others to be truly himself. Which is why he dresses up how people want him to, and why he tries to win Sonia over despite not being into her as a person, just so he believes people will respect him more for dating a princess. He’s the opposite of Gundham where Kazuichi tries too hard to fit in and be cool, while Gundham doesn’t give a shit and gladly be himself regardless of what anyone thinks. Kazuichi isn’t just jealous of him because Sonia favors him more, he’s jealous of Gundham’s confidence.
Unrealistic: adhd kazuichi for the win
I keep thinking about this scenario over and over in my head: let’s say a bad guy is finally captured by the good guys but one of the good guys takes the punishment WAY TOO FAR and now they’re bad guy is the whumpee and the good guy is the whumper and the rest of the good guys have to pick up the pieces of what used to be their enemy and they become the caretakers. It opens up so many possibilities for both the “bad guy”/whumpee and the good guys taking care of them!
I really love this trope! I’ve seen it with Loki, where Tony Stark or someone else went too far and punished him waaaaaaaay too far. It’s a fantastic trope.

AHHH YES THOUGH especially Dean’s “please don’t hurt me again” face cuz now that you’ve said that I can’t get that out of my head
That was actually my first thought when I saw the gifs that Michelle made and actually got a good look at Dean’s face.
It’s a kicked puppy face like “please don’t hurt me again” kind of face ON TOP of the fact that he doesn’t look at Seth directly is so telling of someone who has been hurt before and is afraid of it happening again.
And I could go on and on about how both Dean and Roman’s reactions are due to how Seth’s betrayal played out like Roman was the first to be hit. There was no warning there and he turns to face Seth head on to make sure that if it happens again he sees it coming. Meanwhile Dean saw Roman fall, looked back to see Seth holding the chair before Seth beat him with it too. He had time to put the pieces together, had to realize that one of his best friends his brother was the one attacking them. He doesn’t want to see that coming again, he’d let Seth stab him in the back just so he doesn’t have to see the look on Seth’s face while he’s beating him down again.
