--- OH, COLLEGE. Sorey wasn’t gonna lie, he was nervous. His fingers tingled and itched and he kept grabbing his bag’s straps as if it could help, and swallowing with a little difficulty, but hey, as if he was gonna let that stop him! Straightening his back, Sorey persuaded himself there wasn’t even anything to be nervous about yet -- classes hadn’t even started, after all.
Having psyched himself up, he swiped his card at the door and then went in, looking around. Maybe he had looked a little too much, though, because before he was even all the way in the door, it was closing, smacking his hip hard. He jumped and scooted on inside.
His dorm room was on the second floor, and he took the stairs up, too impatient to wait for the elevator to come down from the third. His suitcase wasn’t very heavy, as he hadn’t actually brought much with him --- half the fun was looking for stuff to stick in his room, yeah? As he rounded the corner and walked down the hallway, he caught sight of another brown-haired boy just in front of the room where he was supposed to be staying.
Sorey broke into a wide smile, his friendly nature overriding any jitters he was feeling. “Hey! Are you also rooming here?”
