Craft Shit!

Just a few of my latest creations! I’m super excited to finish my Taylor Swift - Lover decal set! (First page is directly in the middle of the first image. There are 2 pages, with one decal for each song.) I’m planning on doing a whole series of sets just like it for all of my favorite albums. I’m 99% done with Lover, and am about 1/3 of the way through John Mayer’s Born and Raised at the moment. And then...who knows?! Also redid all the decals on my car, including my Teddy ones! (Yo, if anyone wants some of these decals, let me know!) Snagged the cute little coffins from Michaels and painted them up and put decals on them. They’re little ring boxes, with rolled felt on the inside like jewelry boxes. I may be biased, but I think they’re cute AF. Anywho! As always, I hope you all are fairing well in life out here on Tumblr. <3

Starting to feel like fall <3

This homemade natural vanilla and pumpkin spice salt scrub recipe is reminiscent of that most delectable dessert, pumpkin pie. Yum!

Vanilla & Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Recipe

Ingredients:

4 oz. fine dead sea salt .65 oz. apricot kernel oil .15 oz. agave syrup .15 oz. natural bourbon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder 15 drops cinnamon essential oil 10 drops clove essential oil 15 drops ginger essential oil

Instructions:

Using a digital scale weigh out the sea salt into a glass bowl. Weigh out and stir in the apricot kernel oil, agave syrup and vanilla extract.

Now measure out the nutmeg with a measuring spoon and add to the bowl.

Using a glass dropper or plastic transfer pipette add the essential oils.

Whisk with a fork then spoon into a four ounce container.

To use simply massage onto wet skin, Then rinse and pat dry.

Working on a new sewing project and the linen is so tough! I can’t draw threads like normal. I thought that maybe adding some stiffener would make it easier to sew (which is does) but my hands are killing me. It took me no less than three hours to get ever thread drawn out. I’m happy to be sewing again but I have no idea why I insist on making everything so difficult. Perfectionism strikes again!

(For those wondering I’m making a linen shirt to surprise my beau! It’s all handsewn so this is not the end of my hand troubles, lol.) Maybe I’ll post some in progress pictures of it if you guys would like that.
