Ricardo looked surprised as he felt the hands cupping his cheeks. He glanced up at the fallen angel to see his serene smiling face and it instantly brought calm to the demon. Ricky wasn’t often vulnerable, but he had just been in front of Kemuel. He had been panicked and upset, which the other had only seen once before. And that had been the last time he had actually been upset, but here he was coming to Kem about it again. 

His calmed expression moved to mimic the others smile. “Thank you.” He finally sighed.

Dark eyes were drawn away from The Godfather which was currently playing on the tv before them, the only thing giving light to his living room. They often were found like this at night, sprawled on his worn leather couch and watching something that Ricky considered ‘educational’ for Kemuels teaching of sin.

The dark pupils finally focused in on Kem’s face as the taller of the pair moved on the couch, a warm hand pressing on his thigh for balance. Ricky had been about to say something but his lips were quickly covered by the fallen angels. 

It lingered for a moment, which in his book was progress. Anytime that Kem initiated intimacy was progress, or anytime he pressed into sin really. Ricardo didn’t hesitate, he was kissing him back, his brain forcing him to move slowly. He knew that Kemuel was very much akin to a baby deer; easily frightened and completely inexperienced. 

An uncomfortable look flashed across his face for a moment at the words that were being whispered, but his hand raised to cup the other demon’s cheek. “Don’t gotta thank me.” He grumbled softly and leaned in, kissing him again but just for a moment. Ricky didn’t feel like this was the time to try and press him again.

Oleksy found the polite peck to his cheek amusing given most men weren’t able to refuse his affections. Though it was true not all men were so weak to live in slavery to their desires. The tall stranger was proof of that. Smiling, Oleksy took his hand and pulled him further inside the club to the center of the dancefloor. “I’m not used to men holding back with me!” He yelled over the music into his new friend’s ear as they swayed and moved to the music. Unusually, Oleksy found some relief in the fact the man wasn’t, seemingly, interested in anything. He could enjoy himself. “What makes you so different?!” He teased with a grin as they continued to dance pressed up against one another. Naturally, Oleky’s hands had found their way to the man’s lean hips as they swayed together.

When Robert finally woke, it was early morning and Kemuel’s apartment was silent. He sat up and rubbed his eyes awake, feeling sleepy but well-rested. In fact, every time he was at Kemuel’s, he slept like a dream and woke as if he had been in a Snow White-Esque slumber. He had an inkling it was to do with the man himself, Kemuel. Somehow, he always managed to make him feel warm and cozy and relaxed. And Robert was unable to figure out why exactly.

He dressed down to his briefs and undershirt after grabbing himself a glass of water from the kitchen and tip-toed into the main bedroom where the other man slept. He slipped silently under the covers, turning himself around so he could back up against the man’s warm body. In just the short period the two had been seeing each other -- the two hadn’t quite put a label on it yet; they each just existed around one another in close proximity most of the time -- they had developed a whole bunch of new patterns. Kemuel was the big spoon, and Robert the small, the bodies fitting together like two pieces of the same puzzle. 

He very gently lifted the man’s arm and brought it around him so he could stimulate the sensation of being held even though Kemuel was fast asleep.

“Talk to me,” Robert pleaded softly, his voice delicate but emotional, his hands moving to grasp either side of the man’s face at the same time. “I need to know you.” His voice was growing more and more vulnerable with each word. He was desperate to grow closer to the other man, wanted nothing more for their souls to open up to one another. “Please,” he begged.

Ricardo had gotten used to Kemuel’s visits after work actually growing to look forward to them and appreciate the company. He was a little surprised as the kiss to his jaw ,feeling his body heat at the small amount of intimacy. His lips curled into a smile that he couldn’t stop, staying still as Kemuel’s hand continued to rest on his shoulder. “Honestly, Kem. It’s been a fucked up day.” 

He finally shifted away from the door, moving toward the leather couch that was a staple in his room and just collapsed onto it. “I had some stuff from my past get dragged to the surface. Stuff I didn’t expect to ever come back.” 

Ricky looked... ragged. He usually had such a confident air but right now he looked worse for wear. “How was the club?” He asked, kicking his feet up on the table.

“Nah, stay here. I’ll get it.” Ricky lifted from the couch to get more beer for the pair. Kemuel had come over for more of a ‘lesson’ on being a demon but that usually turned into watching some ridiculous show where Ricardo would point out sins and laugh about them. In his mind he considered this bonding since his normal just get in there and kill someone would probably not end well for Kemuel. 

As he passed the taller man still sat in the couch he dropped a kiss on the other’s forehead. Honestly it surprised him a bit but he just kept moving toward the kitchen as if it didn’t.

It was so early in the morning that Ricky’s eyes were barely open, stumbling after Kemuel towards the shower. The taller man was already inside and had been for a few moments before Ricardo had dragged himself out of bed to join him. He grunted in greeting, forehead falling against the others shoulder as that is where it naturally fell with their height difference. 

His hands grabbed at the hips, dragging them back against him with a happy sigh as he felt the warm water hitting him and the heated skin of the other pressed against his own. The demon’s hands began to wander over the skin, slipping over the ab muscles, chest and sides as he just leaned against him sleepily.
