Bare branches, fallen branches

While I'm still laid up after a fall that left me with a semi functional left hand and an injured left leg, I'm spending time re-visiting some of my images to create composites and apply some creative filters. Not just for the sake of it but, to convey some of what I felt when I was at these locations.

Bare branches, fallen branches and grey, overcast skies. It was gloomy to say the least. The last of the autumn colours were fading as the monochrome of winter approached. Also fading was the light. I didn't mind to be honest. There has to be dark as well as light in this life. November is a time for quiet reflection and somehow, the moody conditions helped with that...
