Which Fallen/Eliksni House do you belong to?
🎶 ohhhh the captain played his dregs a little tuuuune 🎵
Faction Name: House of Chains.
Leader(s): Ykris the Cruel: Kell of Chains, Ivruk-13: Prime Servitor.
Summary: The House of Chains, much like their emerald counterparts of House Venom, are what the Vanguard considers as another new Eliksni House who coincidentally appeared out of hiding, easily are they distinguished by their beige-colored cloaks and brass tattered armor set. Gluttony and cowardice being their usual motto, the Fallen of House Chains are mainly focused on materialistic gain and the practicing of slavery towards those they belittle, including members of their own kind. All manner of honor and tradition has long since been abandoned the moment they’ve lost their homeworld.
Origin: There has once been a time that members within House of Chains went by a different name, revered for their nobility and grace among their kind. But ever since the Whirlwind occurred, what little honor this House held quickly died out over the ages, along with their previous name, now they simply go by the alias of House of Chains, enacting all manner of heinous acts that violates the very nature of their religion and honor.
Area of Control: Given the situation with the House of Devils’ lack of manpower as well as moral among their ranks, it’s no surprise the House of Chains took this as an opportunity to snatch several areas once held by the Fallen Devils within the Cosmodrome. However, their competitors, being the House of Bull and the House of Kings, prevents the House of Chains from completely taking over most of Old Russia.

Faction Name: House of Venom.
Leader(s): Vrovos the Serpent: Kell of Venom, Yekran: Venoms Archon Priest, Heliks-10: Servitor Prime.
Summary: The House of Venom is an entirely new House encountered recently by Guardians patrolling on Venus and Earth, distinguishable by their sickly-green cloaks and greyish-tinted armor. As cunning as they are ruthless by nature, the Venom exhibit a strong habit of plotting their most hated foes into killing one another until none are left standing. And yet, even that pales in comparison to what the Venom currently have at their disposal, SIVA.
Origin: As far as the Vanguard knows, they simply don’t have a lot of information in regards to when and how the House of Venom came to be, with the exception of why they’ve chosen to show themselves out from the shadows. With how staggering the House of Winters’s casualties rates are, along with so many of their members either abandoning their allegiance or were killed under Skolas’ rule, the House of Venom was already in progress of claiming old territory once held by the House of Winter for themselves. Area of Control: Judging by the recent reports from several Vanguard Scouts, the House of Venom is normally known to reside solely on Venus, keeping a strong presence on any area’s once held by the House of Winter, which includes the enormous Ketch docked in the Cinders. However, it isn’t uncommon for any Guardian patrolling on Earth to encounter some members from House Venom skulking in Old Russia.
The person kicked Séverin in the head, and he went still. A second masked man grabbed Enrique by the throat, holding a knife to his neck. Zofia raised her fists, fury gathering at the back of her skull when the doctor raised his hand.
“Fight back,” said the doctor, turning his masked face to her. “And I will cut his throat. I really do not wish to do that. First, it’s deeply unhygienic. Second, it’s such a waste of a person.”
Zofia looked down at her hands. Her veins still vibrated with the memory of power, and she hated that she could not use any of it now. Slowly, she lowered her fists.
“Very good,” said the doctor. “Thank you for doing that, Zofia. I’ve never found violence to be the answer.”
His voice …
There was something about it she recognized. And how did he know her name?
“Now,” said the doctor, as the third man stepped toward her. “I need your help, my dear. You see, my muse needs some inspiration before she can work. I think you, Enrique, and Séverin will help us accomplish that. I hope you will agree.”
When he stepped forward, Zofia noticed something tucked beneath his arm … something pale and white, bent at a strange angle. It was a hand. Attached to the finger gleamed a huge Ring. And then the doctor lifted up his mask, revealing a pair of kind eyes that she had grown used to, a curving smile that she had often answered with one of her own. For Zofia, it felt like two images that did not fit, and yet her observations could not lie.
The doctor of the Fallen House was Ruslan.
He grinned and then waved the hand that had never been his.
“Rather gruesome, isn’t it?” Ruslan said. “Anyway, I do hope you can all help. After all, friends make incredible sacrifices for one another. And I’ve come to consider you just that.” He smiled wide. “Friends.”
I have been with you all your life
Though I appear only in strife
My quantity will let you see
All this world was meant to be

.
“Stupid clock that may or not be made of bone.”
Séverin lifted his head. “What did you say?”
“I said the clock may or may not be made of bone.”
“Bone.”
Hypnos muttered, “I could use a quick one.”
Enrique ignored him. “Could that fit? As an answer?”
“‘I have been with you all your life,’” read Hypnos aloud. “True. Or that’d be deadly terrifying. Though some people, I honestly believe, are born without spines. And next we have, ‘though I appear only in strife.’ What? I don’t think that fits.”
. . .
There, he saw the children with their too-sharp ribs ridging their shirts. Knobbed elbows stained with dirt. Eyes unsettlingly wide in faces sculpted by starvation.
“I think ‘bone’ fits,” he said quietly.
Hypnos cast him a strange look. Enrique had no desire to be the focus of that attention, so he said, “The last two lines fit as well. We know that the Fallen House had some macabre interests. It’s possible that meant using bone. In which case, that line, ‘all this world was meant to be,’ might fit with their own interests and not all humans’ everywhere. Which leaves the second-to-last line—‘my quantity will let you see’—as the final hint. Maybe it means the number of bones found in a human body. How many are there, anyway?”
“Two hundred and six,” said Séverin instantly.
Enrique frowned. “Do I want to know why you had that answer immediately?”
Séverin’s smile gleamed wolflike. “I doubt it.”
“But how do we get 206 to show up on a clock?”
Séverin let out a soft laugh. As if he were remembering something. “Six minutes past two. Two-oh-six. Two hundred and six.”
