"The Pyro-Maestro does not play music, but rather, seeks to pry it from quivering tongues. To her, the shrill harmonics of terror is the most honorable compliment one can grant the arts. The Pyro-Maestro is ebulliant to illustrate the mystifying world of the Neath in her own fiery vision. Paintbrush in scorched fingers, her canvas burns and the mind swells with horrors unreal. In turn, she is inspired, although she does not fully understand the sigils she weaves. All that is known is the sweet, molten anguish. Perhaps one day, she will be able to recreate her ultimate masterpiece - the one that stoked human hearts aflame. Literally. Where did she go wrong? Alas, that piece was destroyed by the Ministry of Public Decency, and her artistic endeavours shunned. The Pyro-Maestro cannot rest until she understands the fatal flaw. Just how keen is she to lose herself to the blaze inorder to redeem herself and fulfill her employer's agenda?"

My finalized submission for @neathyfashioncoalition is done!! The Anachronistic Tailor, true to form, aims for a more Edwardian style over the Victorian hourglass figure. And, despite their outer layers having much less in the way of frill, they do enjoy a bit of lace ❤️

Bio: He tries not to think of his Surface life, yet it continues to haunt him. After hearing about the Neath from the Fading Music-Hall Singer, he left his studies to pursue new opportunities. In the Neath, he became Silas Birdwhistle. After adjusting to this new society and a new language, he later tried to find the Fading Music-Hall Singer again. Cue the events of Light Fingers, which ended with him becoming: a Silverer, an honourary cat, a nightmare's spouse, and a partial bio-parent to one False-Star. As much as he denies it, these events have shaken his worldview.

His main desire is to attain love and affection. However, due to a fear of vulnerability and a tendency to (un)knowingly self-sabotage, he settles for a "more realistic" goal: attaining power. He's convinced that this is what he truly wants and will often act in service to that.

Personality: Silas can be cruel and manipulative when pursuing their goals. Yet they’re prone to being manipulated as well, especially when flattery’s involved. While they struggle with deeply connecting with others, they're also affable, flitting through various social groups with confidence. Around most people, they wear the façade of a breezy, opportunistic hedonist.

Silas enjoys being at the Flit and can often be found rooftop gardening or chatting with the urchins. They also enjoy dancing, even when it often leaves them exhausted for days.
