That's sweet. :-) My cat's an asshole, but he seems to have kitty Alzeimer's; occasionally he asks for affection (leading me to believe he's momentarily forgotten he's an asshole). I think he's bitter 'cause he only has one eye and no balls.

I'm pretty sure if I had 1 eye and no balls, I'd be pretty bitter too!!!!

The awesomecat is just 90% stuffed animal/10% actual cat. He's currently asleep on my chest clutching his tiny stuffed bear and my left arm.

For some reason, the insignificance itself doesn't bother me. It's just the scale of things. I have this weird reaction to largeness - that is, very large things (objects, distances, etc.) elicit this feeling that's something like awe but possibly not entirely, and it just makes me feel weird for a while.

Okay, I give. What's QGIS? Or, for that matter, GIS? The map is cool, BTW.

Hehehe, GIS stands for either Geographic or Geospatial Information Systems, i.e hardware, software, remote sensing, data capture, and all sorts of tools to "visualize, question, analyze, interpret, and understand data to reveal relationships, patterns, and trends." I.e we make pretty maps and infovis charts and diagrams!

QGIS is Quantum GIS, an open source software package as opposed to the industry standard ArcGIS that everyone else and their mom and grandmom uses. We used Q for the last class that I just finished and I'm still putzing around with it. :) 

The fact that it's free helps a lot too lol and it'll look good on my resume to say that I'm proficient in both programs when I get my GIS job in the not so near future. :)

That's a whole lot of math. ;-) The guy sounds like an asshole, and I'm sure he's done it to others. Perhaps restaurant's website should specify that, while additional gratuities are appreciated, the delivery fee goes to to the deliverer.

He was a super prick with his attitude, I was really stunned that anyone would bitch about a 16% tip! And if he has done this to others, the good news is that he won't be doing it ever again, at least not for my favorite chinese food place :D 

(jews take their chinese food super seriously btw... you don't mess with us when it comes to NY style egg rolls and my paper wrapped chicken... I'll have you tossed out on your ass in the cold 80 degree socal winter weather night!!!)
