Ingredients: 2 slices of whole wheat bread. 2 slices of roasted turkey breast. 2 slices of cheddar cheese. 2 tablespoons of canned pumpkin puree. 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. 1 tablespoon of butter.
Instructions: Cover one side of each slice of bread with pumpkin puree. Add pumpkin pie spice to one of the slices that has pumpkin puree on it. On top of the pumpkin pie-flavored bread, put a slice of cheddar cheese. Put the slices of roasted turkey on top of the cheese. On top of the turkey, put the last slice of cheddar cheese. Put the second slice of bread on top, pumpkin puree side down. Cover the outside of the sandwich with butter. Set a pan or griddle over medium heat. Put the sandwich in the pan and cook it for three to four minutes on each side, or until the cheese melts and the bread turns golden brown. Take it off the heat, let it cool for one minute, then cut it up and serve it hot.
