lost girl: Lauren + Dyson: sex, drinking, Bo

When his hand comes to rest on her knee, it feels inevitable; like they’ve been headed here all along and the journey has only been expedited by the alcohol they’ve consumed.  She looks over to see him smiling at her like a puppy about to get a treat.  She laughs and scratches his beard - she’s never kissed anyone with a beard - it’s soft and rough at once and suddenly she wants nothing more than to see how it feels against her face. Their lips meet hungrily, desperately, grasping at each other and seeking out skin.  His hands move over her body and the word keeps coming to her mind is large - everything about him is large and broad and hard and decidedly not Bo; and for once that feels okay.

Red queen fight

It was a completely stupid fight, but they’re both too stubborn for their own good and haven’t spoken a word to each other for over three hours.  Lying with their backs to each other now, Regina can tell Ruby is awake.  She sighs; she’s going to have to be the bigger person this time, because if life with Ruby has taught her anything, it’s that love is compromise.  Turning over, she reaches out a hand and gently places it on Ruby’s hip.  Ruby turns to face her and it’s not too long before they are a mess of tangled limbs, desperate kisses and whispered apologies.

Ahh, okay. Yeah no, I totally get it dude. It’s hard. All I can say is go with your gut. And if you feel like you’re not going to be happy about it, then maybe you shouldn’t take it? I don’t know, man.

Thanks, dude. :) Gonna make some phone calls tomorrow and see what's what about the job. If it were for a support unit, that would be it. I wouldn't question anything. I'd say yes without any hesitation. So, I think that might be my answer, but we'll see.

I’m not getting the whole story. Is the permanency at the school you dislike? Or if you don’t take it, will you remain at the school you dislike?

Okay, so I'm not at the disliked school anymore (thank goodness). The issue comes down to it not being the special ed I want to be doing. It's learning and support, which can be good, and I don't doubt I wouldn't do a good job, but I want to be working with Autism or IO or IM kids. I also don't know if I take the job, if I'm stuck in it for 3 years, or how it works exactly. It's really not what I want to be doing, but then it could take me months to find another permanent position, you know? And this one just landed in my lap, so I feel like I need to take it - like I can't be picky. But it's also my career as well.
