I've always thought there was a phrase to express how I feel about the transitory nature of sadness and loss; and this one line brings to clarity the obvious, that, as like ALL conditioned things, they are transitory, impermanent by nature and will not, can not, last. Eventually there will be an ending, like the calm after a storm....enjoy.

After reading this poem, everytime, I always read it again. The reason is because in these words hide a deeper sub consciousness that is like a tickling in the back of my throat. I can't seem the shake the feeling that I put much more into the subliminal content than at first seems. Well, whatever the case, I do know one thing...after reading the poem twice, I recommend the reader to then sit someplace quiet and ponder the last two lines of the poem and really ask yourself to find an answer to that question.
