This line for the title, was taken from The Crow, featuring Brandon Lee. I've always thought there was a phrase to express how I feel about the transitory nature of sadness and loss; and this one line brings to clarity the obvious, that, as like ALL conditioned things, they are transitory, impermanent by nature and will not, can not, last. Eventually there will be an ending, like the calm after a storm....enjoy.

I will leave this to the readers' interpretation. I haven't felt the need to read or write lately, but this morning I worked to create this.

A point of ponderous thought....how easily we believe the mirage. Someone else's vision, words, even "The Great Promise"...

My thought is simply this..resonance. it's that feeling you get, instinctual on some level, when you hear, see, or perceive in anyway something that has a feeling of "right-ness" in your soul. You know, but don't know how that what is resonating is the truth. Ever felt that? I feel that at very unexpected times. I trust my feelings.

Don't believe what is told, question everything. Plato said that by doing that, we have achieved the highest form of intellectual thought. I do. I won't swallow delicious bait that is a lie, I'd rather eat the sour truth anyday. But for many, truth is something desired sweet and so the enjoy it, becoming obese on lies.

A personal piece, well, all of my pieces are personal...but this one more so. I wrote this in a time of long silence. The result of the price others pay for the poor choices that you make. I dedicate this to my daughter, Angel. I love you. Always have, Always will, I've never stopped for even a second....and never will. Promise.

After reading this poem, everytime, I always read it again. The reason is because in these words hide a deeper sub consciousness that is like a tickling in the back of my throat. I can't seem the shake the feeling that I put much more into the subliminal content than at first seems. Well, whatever the case, I do know one thing...after reading the poem twice, I recommend the reader to then sit someplace quiet and ponder the last two lines of the poem and really ask yourself to find an answer to that question. What do you come up with...and why? I would be really interested in your takes.. so don't be scared, tell me. I don't bite.

Long have I been fascinated with the martial arts and figures of history like the Samurai. The oriental culture has always been mysterious and attractive to me.
