okay, but, in all honesty, i think the protectrons in fallout 4 are adorable

besides even if Nora DID have practical experience (as a result of a notably fictitious childhood in which she was a bit rambunctious and learnt to handle fire arms) there is no real way for Shaun to find this out about her. this sort of backstory is not supported in game in any way (no shit), and the only people who would be able to tell Shaun this information are LOOOONNNNNGGG dead. all of them. not a single person living in the wasteland during Shauns post-war lifetime would be able to corroborate this. unless theyre a ghoul, i guess, but youd have to get very lucky. considering the only person to get ghoulified in your home town was the Vault Tec Rep??? yknow. i find it highly unlikely. not to mention Shaun would be have to able to find these individuals (with no real evidence of connections between them and Nora) and then find their tales of her childhood to be reasonably believable, which is difficult for a man who never met her and didnt actually live in that time. so. you know. what the fuck did shaun actually expect would happen
i hate this too because all it does is confirm that for every single fucking fallout game, the male protagonist is the default and canon. some fucking bullshit. fuck off.
in conclusion my favourite companions are Nick, Piper, Hancock, Dogmeat, and Danse. i have never journeyed with Strong or Preston and dont intend to. I haven’t travelled with Deacon, and I will at some point. Same with Cait, she seems alright. I haven’t found MacCready and might not bother. Curie and Codsworth aren’t particularly noteworthy? I’m not even sure where either of them are. I think Curie is one of my trade routes and that Codsworth is just sorta roaming Sanctuary? i have nothing to say about x6-88, or any of the 4 dlc companions, because unless i suddenly win the lottery, im not going to bother with the dlc and i dont plan to side institute any time soon. i mean i guess gage is ok because he does help you that one time at the start of nuka world, w/ the water gun thing, but thats second hand and i have mixed feelings.
