the sheer hypocrisy of the Brotherhood of Steel going on about the decadence of the old world and the moral corruption that led to the bombs dropping is MIND BLOWING. Sure, the world ended because of humanity’s arrogance and greed, but also because powerful people made the little guy fight their wars by driving wedges between them with propaganda and bigotry. The sheer gall of Danse especially to go on about how fucked the old world was when the Brotherhood is doing the same thing! Sure, Danse, pretend things have changed since we nuked the fuck out of each other, but Elder Maxson wouldn’t hesitate to hit the button all over again and we all know it. i didn’t expect Blind Betrayal to emotionally wreck me

but it did like how dare you, Elder Maxson how absolutely dare you order me to murder my best friend and then offer me a promotion like that fixes what you’re asking me to do

and all the dialogue options are like yes maybe or vague maybe wheres my Not In A Million Years option where I tell Haylen and Danse that I never even for a second considered it, no fucking way there was never a doubt in my mind

A fuckin promotion??? you ask me to kill this man, who risked his own reputation to bring me on board because he saw something in me when no one else did, even Haylen thought i was just a nice young man, this man who stuck with me and with you and you put me in his room and his power armor and give me a fuckin promotion like nothing happened
