Midnight Voice was a radio-drama magazine founded in Denver, Colorado in 1938. It paid specific attention to experimental and political radio. Its last issue before the bombs dropped was released in September— ironically its highlight radio drama of the month dealt with a woman entering into a fresh nuclear wasteland.

Midnight voice ran its own small-broadcast-range radio station. It ran role calls and script calls for upcoming artists. These role calls often rejected more well-known voice actors and writers. Plays, and many pieces of process music & sound art, produced were often duplicated and sent out to other radio-stations.

Ivy O’Hanrahan was involved in many experimental films and radio dramas. Despite some critical acclaim she never reached wider popularity and remained within her niche. Bleeding Earth would be the last production she was involved in before being taken into vault 111.

I've, for a long time, had this idea of Goodneighbor having it's own dedicated radio station run from the Third Rail called Radio Speakeasy. This radio would feature a range of ghoul and human presenters featuring a range of live music from the Third Rail as well as pre-war music.

\/ This song would fit the vibe perfectly and is on my own playlist for this pretend radio station.

Ok storytime and to preface, yes, I'm a stupid dumbass.

When I first heard Uranium Fever by Elton Britt in Fallout New Vegas, I did not like it. I assumed it was a gimmick song added into fallout for worldbuilding or lore or whatever. I was so uninterested. I was not impressed. I mean, it grew on me because let's be real it's catchy asf — but I had a grudge.

So I felt like a real dumbass the first time I looked it up. (1955)

The real kicker is that I did not feel like a dumbass the first time I saw and listened to Magnolia sing and talked to her after and started to get all doe eyed listening to the next song and, yes, obviously I loved all the songs immediately. No, I've been living in blind ignorance of how outrageously a hypocrite I am for TEN YEARS.
