Dramas
Brokeback Mountain (2005), it’s sad and gay and just one of my faves ever. Currently it’s on Starz but I’m sure there are...other ways to find it depending how you stream👀
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), it’s a little slow but made me think so much about life and I feel like you’d like it. It’s currently on Prime.
The Social Network (2010), a slightly less evil Mark Zuckerberg! For some reason I just love this movie idk what it is. It’s on Netflix btw
Parasite (2019), it really did live up to the hype imo what a good critique and it’s on Hulu
Black Swan (2010), this is borderline a thriller and so interesting and well done, not sure where it’s streaming though
Donnie Darko (2001), also borderline a thriller and very out there but interesting lol, it was streaming for free on imdb last month but not sure now
Thrillers
A Quiet Place (2018), this just is such a good quarantine movie and good in general. It’s on Hulu and Prime too I think
The Sixth Sense (1999), modern classic tbh and worth the watch, I think it’s on Showtime
Inception (2010), such an interesting concept and great execution, not sure where it’s currently streaming bc I think it was taken off Netflix recently
V for Vendetta (2005), anarchy helloooo, ugh I adore this movie and just rewatched it recently, it’s on Netflix
Romcoms
No Strings Attached (2011), not a Film™️™️™️ but I love it so much it’s a perfect feel-good movie for me, it’s also on Hulu and Prime
La La Land (2016), I may have seen you talk about this one but yeah fjxjc I love it sm, I think it’s only on HBO rn unfortunately
Love Rosie (2014), this was so well done and is more of a drama than a comedy but ugh I loved it. It’s on Prime rn
Stuck in Love (2012), it’s sooo cute and shows so many different types and facets of love and is currently on Prime
