Rick can’t count now how many times he’s relied on Andrea. Each bullet that saved Rick is added to a count, he’s lost count of. It’s added to their friendship-- added to his faith in the woman. It works his soul warm, and his fear down. It’s the latest save that leaves him however a little shaken. Once he’s safe inside the walls, he looks over at the woman in the tower. “Were you trying to save bullets?” he mused at her reaction time, though the fondness is clear in his voice.

Aaron cleared his throat.  He didn’t want everyone looking at him with the pity and sadness.  He couldn’t help the way he felt though  --  he’d always worn his heart on his sleeve. He didn’t want to talk about Eric,  and luckily,  there was the  perfect decoy for where the conversation could go.
