This log details the False Timeloop Program. This information is CLASSIFIED and is not to be distributed outside of Lab Ͳ to anyone, but especially not to any sawian subjects.
Violators of the NDA will be terminated on sight. As well as any witnesses of the log.
THE CONCEPT:
Training new sawians for their tasks takes time, and resources. Time and resources that would better be spent elsewhere.
The False Timeloop Program (FTP) allows our lab to skip this process of training by instead implanting memories into a subject via the chip implanted in their brain.
With the FTP enhanced brain chip, our lab can record the memories of subjects while they are alive. Sending valuable life experiences to our server racks. Then, when the subject expires, these memories can be implanted into a new subject.
Subjects memories may need to be wiped to avoid conflicts with the new information, but this step can be skipped should the subject's current memories be estimated to be too valuable.'
PROJECT FLAWS:
-Solar flares may fry the FTP chip and damage or corrupt memories. Erase these before implanting.
-Memories from periods of mental decline negatively impact subjects, resulting in deaths earlier than desired. Erase before implanting.
-Memories of death may cause mental decline in subjects. However, they can also prove useful, as they inform the subject of possible dangers and lessen further incident. Use discression when implanting.
-Sawian subjects do not take well if memories from a different species are implanted. Causes mental decline and self destructive behavior. Select subjects that match the previous subject's appearance most closely.
Orange #38709 encounters Leapy #20951 sheltering in a drop pod. Orange #38709 has removed both of its lower arms. This happens often. Subject has suprisingly survived this instance.
Orange #38709 notices the shotgun that Leapy #20951 is brandishing and attempts to establish a trade.
Leapy #20951 becomes more hostile with every attempt. It raises the barrel to Orange #38709's head and pulls the trigger.
Orange #38709 and Experiment #64596 are travelling in a pair. Orange #38709 has removed its lower left arm, while the other is intact.
The pair encounter Leapy #20951. This is the same instance of Leapy #20951 from Field Test Log ##.
Leapy #20951 immediately recognises Orange #38709 from its encounter with the previous instance, triggering panic, confusion, anger.
Experiment #64596 attempts to haggle with Leapy #20951 about trading the shotgun.
This once again triggers hostility in Leapy #20951, pointing its shotgun in the direction of Orange #38709 and Experiment #64596, threatening to shoot.
Orange #38709 aims its pistol to Leapy #20951's head. Its finger is on the trigger. The pistol doesn't have a trigger guard.
Arguments ensue. Orange #38709 reels back its arm and fires a pistol shot into the air before returning aim to Leapy #20951.
Leapy #20951 lowers its shotgun. Orange #38709 lowers its pistol in turn.
Subjects exchange ammo to diffuse situation and part ways. Orange #38709 and Experiment #64596 departing for layer 5.
Subjects of the FTP are to be further monitored for interactions between other sawians.
Look up the IDs of any subjects one of ours encounter. If their brain activity shows signs they know the subject in question send a signal to their brain to scramble their facial recognitions immediately.
There will be a 1-5 second delay dependant on how far subject has reached into the planet. This margin is minimal enough to leave most subjects with a feeling of "deja vu" instead of the previously documented heightened aggression response.
