he won’t allow this world to stay the way it’s been since he was born. he’s not going to leave it in the same state it’s always been –– nothing, and no one can get in the way of that goal. that’s why he composes himself even with the ache that presses behind his weary eyes. rhea isn’t wrong, but this doesn’t have to be the truth that lasts.

it can be the truth they outlive. “that’s because so many think that their fear of change is inherent. that people were born being afraid of what occurs as strange to them.” if they weren’t so terrified of a world more unified than it is currently, he would have his work cut out for him. claude shakes his head even still, resolute. “but that could never be true. it’s ingrained by years of tradition and the perceived threat of anything outside the status quo.” claude’s shoulders set; he turns his gaze forward.

“once we let go of that fear, we can be free.”
