22. Our muses are stargazing

Curling up against his side in the back yard, Lydia reached down and tugged the blanket up over them. It was April, so it wasn't exactly warm out at night...but it wasn't so bad that they were freezing. Plus, they had each other. Jamie had been away for so long...Lydia didn't even care what they did as long as he was close by. When Jamie had suggested star gazing, she had just agreed. Throwing one arm over his middle and resting her head against his shoulder, Lydia watched the sky as more and more constellations came out to play. At first, she thought her mind was playing a trick on her, but soon she was shooting up a little and pointing up to the sky. "Jay...Jay, look. Look! A shooting star," she said, turning down to look at him. "...make a wish with me." she said, shutting her eyes tight.
