it was only going to be for one night. in order to repay him for the discomfort she caused , aside from paying for the damages, airi had agreed to play the role of a woman she had never met, didn’t know anything about her and nobody had ever seen her. she could also see it as a job. being unemployed , since she didn’t need to work , airi thought it would be a good time to put her skills to good use. of course she didn’t have any great acting skills but that was the purpose of meeting with daniel in the first place. 

his purpose was to train her into being the perfect replacement for ‘meni’ that was the woman’s name. they had one month until the gala and she had to really work her ass off to at least be able to behave like the lady was rumored to behave. “i’m a bit stressed about this first lesson. i hope i won’t disappoint.” airi said confidently and took a step closer to him since there was too big of a distance and it made their first lesson awkward. “so where do we start from? how she walks? is she the hip swaying type or the truck driver type? i can do both actually.” she said patting the big bun on to of her head.

“Yeah, I won’t lie... it’s not going to be fun.” He sighed. It wasn’t as though he minded attending any sort of meeting. Okay, well, he hated them. Coffee wouldn’t get him through it and neither would being there with someone he liked the company of, in this case Yuji. “We’ll power through. Listen to all the others talk, keep our mouths shut. They drink and we say, sorry we need to leave we have class to teach in the morning. Can’t pressure us out of that.”

“You seen how expensive those things are?” He shook his head at the thought of paying to go see a movie; everything from the ticket price to the food and beverages. Unbelievable. There was also the fact he had literally no time to go to the movies since he had to, you know, work and shit. “What difference does it make to watch at the cinema rather than home? You can’t even eat what you want at the movies because you’ll have some geezer straight up in your face or selling you out to the attendant. Next thing you know you’re being kicked out five minutes after you just spent $30 to get in. Now if that ain’t some absolute bullshit, I don’t know what is.”

Isabella was slow to catch her gaze, unsure of which butt was the topic of discussion. She turned her head to check out the various people it could be before turning back, a small grin on her face. “Girl with the ponytail and shorts? Right?” She wasn’t discreet at all with turning around a second time to check before feeling bad about it. “She’s cute. Ask for her number for me.”

After a seemingly long day at work, despite it being regular hours, Mei took the extended journey home in order to pass by her favourite bakery and pick up a variety of their new additions. She had time to take a few more minutes out of her arrival home for the food, but by the end of the walk her feet were killing her and the weight of her carrier became heavier as the minutes passed. Thankfully, she only arrived ten minutes later than she usually would. Mei retrieved her keys from her blazer pocket and unlocked her door, changing out of her shoes and turning the lights on. Her home was as quiet as is always was and nothing looked off — not that it should have. The bakes she had purchases needed to be stored away so she headed to the kitchen, placing them in the bread bin but keeping one for herself to eat in the living room. The pains in her feet were still present and she needed to rest them up. That’s when she noticed. “I’ll call the cops.” She warned.

Hiroki had always a bad habit of biting his nails out of nervousness and was waiting for Yifei to finish what she was occupied with while his heart continuously beat in his chest. He didn’t get that nervous when asking for favours but this was difference, since they weren’t all that close and she was on a much higher level than him. When she was finally finished he cleared his throat and crossed his arms around his stomach loosely. “Hey. I was wondering if you had time could you - or if you do, if you want to - help me with something? I’m having some trouble with a sheet I’m working on. I can give you something in return? Drinks? ” The two of them were acquainted but it wasn’t comfortable enough for him to be asking for these things without offering something in return.
