just finished watching a slime of the falsettos proshot and i was sobbing so hard .

i only expected to tear up but the end of jason’s bar mitzvah and everything after had me sobbing so damn hard what the fuck

6 reasons Falsettos revival deserves more attention than it gets

1. It deals with very real and relevant issues despite taking place in the late 70s/early 80s

2. The music!! William Finn's score is so bouncy and fun I love it so much,, on this page we stan the Teeny Tiny Band

3. It's UNAPOLOGETICALLY GAY. It doesn't try to cover up how gay it is, it's just gay!

4. The cast?? Is so good?? They have a ridiculous amount of chemistry and it really shows onstage

5. It will make you feel literally every emotion. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you uncomfortable, it'll make you feel angry, it'll make you feel bittersweet, it'll make you sob so hard you die of dehydration, etc.

6. And last but not least, THE SYMBOLISM. Anyone who loves literary analysis should definitely check this out because there's some fantastic symbolism in this show
