Summary:

Tim is hunched over his computer, bouncing between a report for B (Batman, not Bruce) and a spreadsheet for B (Bruce, not Batman) when Jason stumbles into the cave. If it weren’t for the fact that Jason had been in a somewhat good mood lately, Tim probably would have been a little more concerned about this fact. Still, it’s weird when, instead of ignoring Tim’s existence like he usually does, Jason walks over to him directly and says, “I'm in a time loop and I don't know why. Fix it."

Books and Beans, Edgar’s workplace May 18th @avgvstvs​

In all of the madness, few things in Edgar’s life reminded him of normality. His flat was emptier, with the distinct lack of Amelia’s visits it barely felt like home anymore. Many of the places he frequented were boarded up, either out of business, temporarily closed in preparation for an attack, or already destroyed. Thankfully, his job at the coffee shop provided some much needed monotony - something Edgar never thought he’d crave. The regulars flowed in and out as always and he was finely tuned to the workings of the machines to the point where his hands moved with muscle memory, no thought required. He almost enjoyed working; it felt like he had faced into the background and maybe, hopefully, he would never switch back to reality. 

That fantasy was swiftly disturbed by an unfamiliar customer approaching the register. New patrons were rare, the coffee shop was fairly run down and only those in the know were aware that they made the best coffee in the city. Something about the man seemed familiar, but Edgar dismissed it easily; they looked around the same age so he probably knew him from Hogwarts. Still, something about his lips sent shivers down Edgar’s spine and he could almost picture them leaving hot trails across his body. The wizard was certainly attractive, but it was rare for him to have such a physical reaction to someone, particularly considering Edgar was well on his way to a more serious relationship. “Hi.” He greeted, as warmly as he could manage considering his generally touch disposition. “What can I get you?”
