"They might not do these things to us and we only know who they were to us but that doesn't mean they didn't do horrible things and to discredit the abused is a crime. People we know as ‘awesome guys’ can be predators and abusers. It’s tough to accept but we have to. If we say we support victims — women, children, men, boys — then we must be able to take this stance."

of course during the golden globes, not only were dozens of celebs being fake feminists and allies but the entire event ignored the male victims of sexual harassment by celebs.

the men assaulted by kevin spacey when they were children, one of whom is an actor, were not mentioned. the man assaulted by george takei was not acknowledged.

i am not trying to invalidate other victims. but this movement is supposed to be about supporting all survivors of sexual assault, and condemning all predators and perpetrators of it.

and so far neither of these purposes are being fulfilled. at all.
