We recently had a customer come to us with the problem of her fan slowly failing in her Toshiba laptop. It would intermittently stop or make a screeching sound. So what we did was order a brand new fan. Once we received the part, we completely pulled the laptop apart and removed the old fan. We then installed the new fan and put the laptop back together. A Toshiba laptop came in where the fan was going out. The customer could tell that it was seizing slowly but surely. So we ordered a new fan. We then disassembled the whole laptop and swapped out the old fan for the new one. Once we got the computer put back together, we turned it on and the fan was working perfectly.
