Dreamcast GDEMU Rant -
In case anyone has considered buying a GDEMU to replace their DC GDROM drive, let me tell you, it is a RACKET. Do not be fooled by the simple 'plug and play' marketing. You need a special type of SD card. The card has to be formatted a certain way with a special formatting tool. You need 100% pure GDI dumps that are not easy to find. Even after all that you may also even need to modify your DC power supply (like I did) because the 12v rail can send power spikes which cause the GDEMU to lock up!!
Unless you are truly comfortable with all the software and soldering nonsense, I would strongly encourage you to avoid buying a GDEMU and just go the emulation route with Flycast or something else. The juice has not been worth the squeeze IMHO.
