I think now is the time to provide y'all an update on my fan-dub project for @redundantmodule's 101 Dalmatian Street: Animal Control comic!📰
I was originally going to release the first chapter of the fan-dub in January, but as of right now, we are STILL in a search and need for voice actors and actresses to fill the remaining roles before officially kickstart our project, but the process turned out to be MORE difficult than I had anticipated. And of course, the lack of communication between actors and staff members also played into the factor of the fan-dub's slow production.🤷♂️
So, to make things short, finding voice actors for a fan-dub project is not exactly proving to be an easy feat, especially since this is my FIRST major fan-project that involves a group of folks inside and outside the 101DS community.😵💫
So for this reason, I made a decision to delay the release date for the project indefinitely, which means this project does not have a concrete release date.📅⁉️
I don't have much experience in building a group for a project if I'm being fully honest, so everything that's been going on right now in therms of my project is kind of a learning experience. Also, we should all be aware that communication is key for groups of people in every fandom, especially the 101 Dalmatian Street fandom, if we want to move forward with fan-projects as a working team.
Despite all these obstacles, I'm still excited to be working on this project based on one of the most incredible fan-works from the 101DS fandom, especially Redundant's Animal Control comic series and I can assure you that once the fan-dub of the first chapter is up on the net, the wait will be worth it!😉👍
