so I completely bombed a math exam yesterday and kinda drew out my feelings since then, have some messy fks. The right most one is a possible sapph/yellow kid design, bc I wanted to draw floofy hair and this happened.

rbed an ask meme awhile back for fk reference, this is where i finally get back to it. the only ones i’m doing are the things i’m pretty positive i can answer.

N A D I (A)

nad has coffee for breakfast, if she’s around somewhere with food like a pokécenter then maybe an easy granola bar or yogurt stick. she likes learning about a pokemon’s hidden abilities, and especially how it changes upon evolution. I think nad would have enough common sense to know what was going on when someone maki tries flirting, but she’d still not really know what to do, often busying herself with her pokegear or her pokemon if they’re present. the last is how much they love themselves on a 1-10 rating, and honestly, it’s gonna have to be a 6. earlier in her development, i might have said a 4, but she isn’t really an unconfident person, and she’s smart enough to recognize when something flawed isn’t directly related to her being. she might not like her appearance, which contributes, but it’s different from, say, not liking her family at times, which isn’t directly herself. if that makes sense? i wanna say around 18-19, it scoots up to an 8, but i don’t know past that.

I Z (Z) Y

out of 10, i would say izzy loves about eighty percent of herself. at first glance you might think it’s over-the-top 120%, but she does have certain insecurities and past events that makes her have self-doubt, to wonder if she’s really all that, and that’s where the two points get knocked off. She sleeps pretty comfortably, but unlike Nadia, who can sleep for a day if given the chance, she’s rarely unconscious for move than five hours, which adds to the cause of hidden stress and doubt. (self-tested w/ hypnosis, still only 5) Also, if she has a nap in the late afternoon for more than a couple hours, she won’t be able to sleep at all that same night, much to her dismay. I wouldn’t say she’s a pretty heavy sleeper, but she’s not gonna be awake and alert by any rustling of blankets or sleeping bags, either. izzy has always, always wanted to know why people would die for someone. she’s had someone she really loved, too, but her brain just can’t wrap the idea around throwing your own life away, no matter how much you care for the other person.

his fav dessert is most definitely suuuper childish but. but you remember those paper pushpop ice creams from early 2010? the ones that were guaranteed to melt and get all over your hand in a couple minutes flat, no matter where you were? those. in lime flavor especially, which everyone always finds super weird bc is it even technically ice cream at that point? but yeah. that. if he got a chance, i think maki would be a big fan of philosophy. think aristotle, socrates, except like, 10x more toned down. also, sorta fun fact counted i guess, the creation part of mythology. so how the world, or certain areas/parts/things of it formed. that. out of ten, maki rates himself at a pretty high 9.5 and i think a lot of the reason is because he really couldn’t be bothered what others think of him. he wears these hanging indie earrings and pastel-colored clothing and goes around spouting zodiac nonsense and he just doesn’t care. 

What would it take to break them, inside and out?How they react to being flirted with?

the first is a fairly difficult question, how to break them inside and out, and i’m not sure what it’s implying (physical and mental? like 2 people getting stabbed with the same blade and one of them dying, inflicting mental conflict onto the other?) so we’ll just go with separating the two. physically, it’s really anything. od’s a really easy bruiser, and is one of those people (you know one, or you are one it’s one or the other) that gets bruises all the time and has no idea where they come from. it might make more sense to put that on ari, or izzy, who are both more active and doing action-y things but honestly it’s always the most unsuspecting and those of you that are this person know it. to break odyssey, to pick apart at his core, is something that involves a lot of thought. right now, with what i know, i think the thing that would totally destroy him is someone he knows personally committing suicide. just bc he’s studying the human psych and if it’s someone he’s around quite a bit and then out of the blue this happens, he would be so at fault he’d blame himself for years guys. he’s concerned enough about izzy and her antics, but say if ari or blue did it, i don’t think he’d know how to live anymore. he’s studying prevention so closely yet it still happened and he didn’t recognize any signs or anything and that thought process would tear him apart. but aside from that aha, lets move away from the dark stuff. how would od react to being flirted with? well, it depends on the person. most of the time it’s izzy, and he has two responses: go along with it until they silently mutually agree to back off, or depending on where they are, push her over. so, walking down some hallway? shove her into the wall, continue walking. sitting at the side of a pool? just push her in, she can swim.

who everyone is in the fk verse

just for reference, and bc i don’t think some have been introduced.

nadia and raed are the goldsilver children, four years apart, trainers

izzy is the rusa child, pkmn ranger stationed in sinnoh. bff is

odyssey who is the bluegreen child, future psychologist, and cousin to

ari the billdaisy kid who’s a sky trainer and mega evolves pkmn.

aurian is another ranger stationed in sinnoh, nonbinary and izzy’s sorta mentor. has a brother named

maki, a coordinator who nadia runs into several times on her journey.

kierstynn is the leader of the ranger base in sinnoh. she’s also related to

maya, another ranger and izzy’s former mentor. died on a mission near hoenn’s sky pillar. 

ikki is possibly the wallacewinona/graceful child, an idol with a unique sound (think alesso) and the ultimate possessor or bruises due to parkour stunts.

there’s also an unnamed child from redyellow, died in the womb due to poisoning from giovanni.

that should be it ! the cast sure has grown from back when it was just the first two/three aha. i also doubt everyone will appear in the giratina event one shot, just throwing that out there. the mains have p much stayed the same, being nad, raed, izzy, silver, gold, giovanni, and somewhat kierstynn. hopefully i’ll feel confident enough to start on it this year, but there are other things in the works as well.

while i’m here and willing, and this is out in front of me, here’s little snippets about some fks i’ve had sitting around.

raed calls nadia “nee” all the time. he’s also not interested in becoming the champion, despite being a competitive trainer and going pretty far in league challenges. 

ari is currently a sky trainer. he’s not sure what he wants to do with his life. sorta close with yellow. also is aro/ace. has a lot of self doubt when it’s just him but puts on a “don’t you worry about me” act for others. 

odyssey is like fam with all the kids except nad bc she’s the introvert. also he hates theory, like, sooo much. speculation is fine, but theory is infuriating until it becomes fact.

kierstynn is a senior ranger. she wears yellow feathers in her hair, close to one ear. 

nadia is interested in research, specifically of the human conscious. she needs glasses in her late teens.

ikki has a stage name, “ikkin”. he meets nad once. might be a graceful child? i’m still really on the fence abt it. if he is, izzy picks on him.

maki is nad’s love interest, somewhat. very pansexual. one of those universe enthusiasts -wears the obscure jewelry and owns dream catchers, believes in fortunes and luck and karma. he’s a coordinator, has a cleffa, staryu, and lumenion. might be from kanto? is aurian’s brother. gets on nad’s nerves.
