I've been slowly filling this page while listening to talks and lab meetings. It's a good way to stay fairly focused on the talk without spacing out, and keep my hands busy. Since quarantine cancelled a bunch of talks I ended up barely finishing it before I had to move on to the next notebook!

Had to blur our my real name lol. It took me an embarrassingly long time to draw those succulents (I’m not an artist) but I’m pretty happy with the overall colour scheme and vibe of this book cover

This might sound super cliche, or cheesy, but I just wanna say thank you to the people who encourage me to pursue my calligraphy art. (until recently, I didn’t even consider this “art”)

This lettering page from my previous bujo ended up totally inspiring the aesthetic for the front pages of my new bujo! I used one of the perforated pages in the back of the new book to work through my design ideas until they evolved into something I was happy with :-)

Practicing by writing out the opening narration from Love Actually, I think the second go round looks more consistent
