#fandom changes

i first watched brba in april/may 2022, and at that time in the fandom everyone adored jane and it was actually fairly rare for anyone to talk about how bad she was to jesse and how toxic their relationship was.

since rewatching and getting back into the fandom again i’ve noticed that alot more people don’t like jane anymore, which is super fascinating to me because back when i first watched it that was so rare !!!

i adore jane but im so glad people are talking about how bad she was for jesse and that she never cared that much about him - or at least didn’t care as much as he did.

i’ve also noticed more people talking about andrea and brock more. again - when i first watched brba it was the complete opposite. to the fandom it was like they didn’t exist. im so glad they’re getting the recognition they deserve!!

a concerning thing happening in fandom spaces right now is how comfortable some of you have gotten with ai “art” and edits… “art” with ai literally in the caption underneath, not even hiding in the tags and y’all are eating it up and praising the “artist”

what in the cursed fucking timeline is this?

I've been away too... the fandom is different and evolved. But more so, I think tumblr itself hasn't been the same since they changed all their rules...

I'm going through my drafts and finding tons of old stuff. The way we used to THROW photos and comments back and forth with each other... I miss that...

It’s always intriguing when someone you follow suddenly starts a new fandom. Because it’s suddenly a shit ton of posts of things you don’t even know about and you’ll either be annoyed, get sucked in, or just shrug and continue scrolling down.

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a lovely day ~

I’ve got something I need you all to know, so please keep reading ✿

When I first started tumblr I started as an Animal Crossing blog; which now still makes up the majority of my dashboard and followers. 

Lately, I haven’t been playing Animal Crossing, and when I say lately I mean the last time I played was in September. 

I took a break from ACNL and Tumblr for the month of October to study for yearly exams, but never went back on for the rest of the year. Instead I was watching my first anime. 

Basically; what I’m trying to say is if you want to unfollow me you can, and don’t feel guilty for doing so. If you followed because you thought I was an ACNL blog and would have all ACNL content, that was my intention. 

I still have an ACNL blog, @vanilla-crosser which you are welcome to follow but shouldn’t feel forced to do. 

I’ve made so many wonderful friends in the ACNL fandom and I’ll be sad to see them go; but if they would like to stay I’ll be more than ecstatic. 

From now on I’ll be posting:

Anime: 50%

Rosy/Pastel: 25%

Nintendo: 10%

Other (Funny posts/Zodiac): 15%
