So there is another drama ongoing in our shitty fandom.

There was some con and the there was a question or conversation about couples that are married in real life but have no chemistry on the screen and Nicole joked, the key word is JOKED here, about how it applies to Chris and Melissa. 

Scs, of course, spread the vid and treated it as she was serious. Some people from our fandom got annoyed, Nicole said she was joking and now scs say she is trying to save her face. 

Like. I get why our side is annoyed, because it was obvious they were going to use it against MW and we seriously had enough of situations like this. 

And I get why scs did it, becasue they are shitheads. That’s it.

As for Nicole.

People, she knows them personally, she loves them, as she said, she’s friends with them and this what friends do, tease each other and make fun of each other, like we all do. Was this joke needed? Not really no, but it was said, that’s it. You don’t like it? Ignore. Nicole apologized. That’s it, leave her alone.

As for scs who gloat about it. Seriously, go fuck yourselves. You are the reason why this fandom is so shitty and the reason actors stopped sharing things, stopped being open and stopped interacting with us. And the reason NO ONE in 5 years will give a shit about this show. Congrats

I'm a Zutara since I was a child and I will always believe that Zuko and Katara belong together (specially as adults 💙u❤. Heart eyes, bitch. ANYWAY-)... but wtf is wrong with the shippers?!!!

I have talked with a couple of zutar/ans "fellow shippers", and both of these people were borderline aggressive and dense af.

I never paid attention to all the fucking drama that the ATLA fandom went through back then; I don't care about Bryke (who apparently is responsable of not making Zutara happen), I never cared about being active in the shipping war itself (I was a freaking little girl, and as spanish speaker, I was naturally unfamiliar with terms that are used in a fandom), and I also don't care wasting my time and emotional energy to hate on Kataangers or Bryke or Maikos or whatever shit that makes of me, a true Zutara shipper. I. DON'T. CARE.

I just wanted to have a normal conversation with people that like the same shit as me, but IT appears that in order to be a perfect zutara shipper one must:

Hate Aang.

Call him disgusting because he's a monk(??).

Hate Bryke.

Hate the age difference between Aang and Katara.

While at the same time claiming that Katara looks better with an older boy (🤷🏻‍♀️).

Hate anyone that has a sliight discrepancy of my opinions.

Rant obsessively about how perfect and cute Zuko and Katara are, without actually explaining why I think that. Etc, etc.

After dealing with these people I was like

Sorry for not having a zutara/shipper hive mindset honey, but the fact that I like the same ship as you, doesn't mean that I'm going to automatically agree with you in every damn thing. And people should be okay with that. Shocking, right?!

(This goes for ANY fandom drama/shipping war too.)

And to be clear, I tried to be as much respectful, level headed and understanding as I could, but I'm honestly not in tune with people that are closed minded and aren't willing to listen -or read- a different opinion. The effort is double for me since as I said before, english is not my main language. So... yeah

I don't go here but I don't see any reason for Superman and Lois to mention Kara/Supergirl unless they're setting up stories for crossover reasons and we have no way of knowing if Melissa is going to agree to do those. There's no point in saying anything about her when it's not her story unless they intend to involve her. They could reference her for plot contrivance purposes but otherwise, why would they? Spinoffs don't usually mention the original show characters otherwise.

I think the shitsotrm started because it was said on S&L that there were no more other Kryptonians on Earth, only Kal and his... enemy-brother? Someone like that

IDK what they said about S&L but if the show hasn't mentioned Kara, it's probably because they don't yet have the rights/clearance to mention her character. Anytime anything wants to mention another property, even something their same brand owns (like both being DC), they have to get the rights to do it which is time-consuming and costly to do. That's why after the first SG/Flash crossover, Flash didn't mention meeting Supergirl right afterward, the show didn't have the rights to do it yet.

(cont) Fans think writers can easily write any character or person/product/name in a show when they want but it doesn't work that way. To include any other kind of commercial property (product, creative IP, etc.), they have to get clearance or the rights or a license for every single separate character. It's why one show won't mention a character in the same verse but on another show, etc. till they get clearance. It's can be harder to do if another production is using that character

Aside of what you explained, all I know is that she was not mentioned and there was a deleted scene where Lois looks at her desk where her and Kara's pic was standing. And the sg fans are pissed at it. Plus some S&L writer talked about it on twitter and the fans didn't like the explanation, but I didn't read it (I have heard most of the twitts were deleted).

I mean I'm sure the chances of it happening are very remote but I just wanted to theorize how it could still happen so the assholes can read it and have coronaries. I still say if they'd wanted to get rid of Mon El in a permanent way that was final, they would've let him stay dead in the s3 episode with reign and the worldkillers on Earth. That and the use of those words is just so weird to me still and I can't figure out David's reason for doing that.

Nah, writers and producers don’t kill off characters and end the possibility of them coming back for the bait reasons. How many of us watched some eps or still talk on social media about possibility of him coming back?

Well, David did what he did. Not sure if he wanted to troll us, becaue it seems he doesn’t have a problem with karamels, Mon-El or Chris, but maybe. His last posts about Scs prove he can troll and be mean - bless his ass
