And for this week's fandom monday we're doing something a little different.
One of the games I'm most looking forward to that isn't out yet is a mystery visual novel called Truth Scrapper. The premise and the aesthetic just really do something for me idk - I especially love the design of the MC!
Basically you're playing as an investigator of sorts who has a condition where her memory resets every day. So she keeps a journal to refresh her memory, and that makes the central mechanic of the game basically.
So the dev dropped a Demo recently, and while I've only played a little of it so far, I really enjoy it! It's so funny and immediately endearing. Plus l love the mechanic of what the MC chooses to remember affecting what details she notices going forward! It definitely seems like something that will lend itself to a lot of replayability when the game comes out.
The game is also very queer and has two absolutely endearing + really intriguing love interests for the main character.
I definitely recommend folks take a look at it!
