Fandom Problem #5742:
The fact that KPop fans are loosing their mind on Xitter over some idol having mentioned to have watched some dark fantasy anime, making them create huge call out posts and call them and everyone else who watched it and similar anime "pedo" and similar harmful things, is baffling to me. Because they are behaving as if people watching popular anime in their free time is a huge scandal, even going so far as to making lists of all the "bad bad animanga that only nasty people watch because it has a dark theme", all "to protect children". Not to mention all the racism against Japanese people, calling the whole nation pedophilic.
Which is just so stupid and hypocritical. Because after all KPop is famous for not only how much the idols get exploited, but for having literal children debut as idols and being sexualised heavily for the enjoyment of adult men. And the fans then loose their mind over the treatment of fictional children in an animanga.
I do not care for KPop and neither do I care about the anime that started it all, but still people should maybe look at themselves first.
