Because adding "I'm an alter" gives tumblr street cred attention points for people who don't get attention for whatever reason off tumblr. They need to make up for it here. That's literally the only reason. they included that. And it's probably not even true.

Why did I KNOW this would be someone tho thinks they have alters or is roleplaying because they're lonely and wants attention so badly that THEY happened to be the only person who was willing to @ themselves on here. Oh my god.

I mean no offense, but what does your alter submitting things have to do with the fandom problem? It feels completely unrelated.

It's also dangerous to include your username at all. It would have been safer to just submit it completely anonymously like everyone else does. We don't need to know who you are or that an alter submitted it.
