Fandom Problem #9707:
Remembering that time when a director smugly threw a comic book of a certain character into the trash during an interview, stating how nobody could relate to the two main characters of the movie he was directing, because one was a prissy rich white boy and the other was a whiny bipolar loser. But in the movie, he proceeded to write them as exactly that: as very annoying, blatant caricatures of themselves, while claiming he "fixed them" and "saved the film series" after the fact.
Let's throw in learning about how he allegedly cheated on his wife for good measure.
And not being able to say any of this about him, even on your own turf in a vent post. Because people are so up his ass that pointing out his smugness, and how he's insulted peoples' favorite characters, and failed to recognize even the basic appeal of those characters, which he somehow wanted to write a damn movie for (make it make sense), is nothing short of blasphemy.
