Orion had taken his eyes off Irene, his 6 month old Great Pyrenees puppy in training, for what had to only be less than 50 seconds when the next thing he knew was he spotted her dashing towards the tent where the treats were and in his grasp was now a currently dog free leash.

Cursing under his breath, the man almost vaulted over the table he was helping at for the Puppy Adoption event and ran after her, his voice raised.

"IRENE! NO- IRENE, GET BACK HERE!"

"And that didn't, y'know, give you the bloody hint that maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be a good bleedin' idea to call the cops?!" Tristan huffed out in exasperation as he crouched behind said dumpster along with Steve, keeping a watchful eye on the cop that had been called- despite all attempts of preventing just that.

"I had my reasons!" He whisper shouted at his friend, his blue eyes darting back to the blonde as he shook his head. "No means no, innit?" The Brit sassed as he exhaled in relief when the cop finally gave up and seemingly walked back to their squad car. "You're a pain in my arse, Rogers."

Tristan shuddered ever so slightly when Charlotte's teeth grazed his skin causing him to chuckle under his breath as he turned his head to the side to peek at her over his shoulder, brow raised.

"I know, luv, I know. I remember promising not to but I just- I wanted to get home. I didn't want to be stuck in the office when the thought of you being at home was just there and- I'm almost done?" He trailed off, giving her his best look of 'innocence' as he could muster.

It was almost believable, too.

"Babes, listen." The wine swirls dangerously in the glass in her hand, and she leans on her - today sparkly - walking stick, "I believe in you. You need to believe in yourself. You can tell Pudding to sit, and he'll listen to you. You are in charge." No way. Pudding was gonna jump, kiss and possibly start running all over the place if he got a little attention.

Considering how laughter was pretty much a permanent trait, she had done her best to hide the rare need to cry. But her leg hurt - too much - and she got caught soon enough, sitting on the floor because she couldn't put weight on it anymore.

Sneaking into an even when her mother wanted to pretend she was too sick to even stand could've been dangerous, had it not been a themed one, with masks and veils. She was nearly perfect for it, walking stick aside, and nobody knew her well enough to recognize her, so she did get to enjoy it for about five minutes, before spotting her mother. Now, that was someone who could sniff her presence out. So she nearly jumped into the bushes, hiding behind what seemed to be sculpted grass, kneeling and then realizing there was still someone behind her. She turned, finger to her lips to ask for silence.

And considering she lived a couple of miles from the beach, it was a little depressing, but Bonnie couldn't stop grinning behind her veil, carefully resting her bad knee on the sand so she could cup some of it with her hand. She had some vague memory of it, but she didn't remember more than seeing the landscape from the nearest road.
