Favourite band you just discovered this year?
Erm, I'm assuming by this year you mean 2013 because in 2014 I've hardly listened to anyone new. I guess Volcano Choir are a decent shout, I suppose I listened to Deap Vally quite a bit late 2012 and I suppose I got more into Sigur Rós this year too.
Band you used to like but now hate?
Just looked through my Facebook music 'likes' to find this one haha. Turns out, I used to properly bum this band called PowerGlove who are all about making heavy metal versions of songs from games. I was fucking weird.

Oo-er. Basically I'm not sure. I guess that I kind of can't see it being possible that a big man in the clouds controls everything, but I also reckon that we understand fuck-all about the universe and life etc. and in 1000 years we'll know exactly what happens. Tbh I reckon that I'm probably immortal so who cares.
FUCKING AWESOME. No, but seriously. I think they're a bunch of normal people thrown together and made famous by the media and teenage girls and instead of being a cunt like Bieber, they seem in general to be decent lads having a mad time. I'd be the same except with loads more scandals and powders.
Best live act you've ever seen?
Tossup between Arctics and Frank Turner for me. Arctics was awesome because Alex has just become some sort of amazing showman and it was just epic, whereas Frank was more intimate and emotional and mad because of the pit consisting of me and middle-aged punks and it was awesome.
The book that gave you the most food for thought?
Recently? Either Jack Kerouac: On The Road or Hearts by Stephen King. The former because it just epitomizes a 'perfect' lifestyle for me right now. I'd love to fuck everything off and just hitchhike everywhere, see all the bars and clubs and meet all the different people the world has to offer. Smoke too many cigarettes and 'tea' and drink so much I sit and talk for hours to a complete stranger. The latter because it's basically future Uni life (minus the crippling gambling addiction) and it's such a simple story but so well written.
If you could be the main character of any film, what would it be and why?
Either, Tony Stark in Iron Man because he's super, cool as fuck and so rich, George Jung in Blow because, loadsa drugs, loadsa money, very hot wife, or Paul Ferris in The Wee Man because he's a fucking gangster at the top of his game! The last two are real though and George did get caught so I dunno.
Favourite genre of music?
I'll have to go Folk/Punk because some of my favourite artists are listed under that.
Not really sure but there's something about Girlfriend In A Coma that I really, really like and I can't stop singing it. Or Bigmouth Strikes Again because the harmonies give me chills as done Marrs guitar solos. First Smiths song I can remember hearing was Suffer Little Children and I've been in love since!
Johnny Marr or Morrissey?
Ooh, biggie. I might have to sway towards Marr because, although he is one of the greatest lyricists we've produced in this country, Mozza is a bit of a dickhead and Marr has achieved absolutely loads since The Smiths and he's remained, from what I can tell, a genuinely nice bloke.
