I tend to drop off of fandoms that get popular when im already in them. I fell off Heartstopper because the netflix show happened and i got overwhelmed by the official heartstopper server and muted it. Thats the only example i can think of at present. Most other times ive fallen off something as it gets popular is unrelated (for instance, needing to replay ISAT but waiting till i get the physical edition i preordered, therefore making me unable to properly write ISAT fanfic)

Thank you! Oz characters come to mind first, because I have a problem: Miguel is surprisingly both! Mainly the first, but yeah. Lots of crying for me with his Oz storylines, heh.

Since I am thinking of my Formative fandoms: Tara and Willow are *projects onto them like a mf*.

And I think of The Old Guard with you, so Nicky and Joe are "if anything happens to them I will cry". (They're a set!!)

About Upcoming Channel and Follower Celebration

So I want to always be honest with you guys, no matter whether this whole project succeeds or fails.

A lot of big follower events will have to do with promoting the upcoming channel. I’m going to be leveling with you a lot about what this process is like, developing this show/vlog and doing everything to convince these people to take me on, sponsor me, fund me, possibly develop a REAL show with me. (Let’s not talk about this last one too much cuz I don’t want to get my hopes up, but the opportunities are HUGE.)

I’ve warned them that my “brand” is being brutally honest and not necessarily hiding opinions that I know other people might disagree with (no, I’m not talking about offensive opinions, I would never say anything if I think it makes a group of marginalized people feel uncomfortable or unsafe, Tumblr should feel safe even if you don’t agree with all blogs), so it’s not a secret or anything that I’m gonna tell you guys EVERYTHING I’m allowed to tell you. I told them it’s not until they sign me that I’ll ever stop being honest, and even then I gotta be true to myself, you know?

You get to watch this process from start to finish and at least for a long while I plan to be honest, myself, and love all of you the way I’ve tried. Hopefully, I’ll love you better than I’ve tried since that’s always been a goal I’ve aimed for. My followers mean a lot to me and I’ve always maintained that. You guys were here for me when I was in such a low point in my life and look at me now! That’s you, you DID that for me.

That being said, like I was saying, the upcoming celebrations and follower games and theme days that I’m discussing with them WILL be aimed towards self-promotion. I just wanted to admit that off the bat. I mean most follower celebrations/games/themes ARE almost always self-promotion, but I digress.

However, I told them I’m not selling out this blog’s purpose. So all aims at self-promotion will still involve all of the things you guys are here for: the full Spider-Man fandom, Marvel, social activism, mental health, headcanons, shows, movies, fanfics, stupid animal memes, your stories, everything I blog about.

Additionally, it’s probably going to stretch into 2-3 straight weeks of celebrations involving several prizes. 

THESE PRIZES WILL STILL BE ON A USUAL TUMBLR LEVEL.

This is not yet the big celebration that will invite bloggers and followers to my channel or to have themselves in the spotlight in some way or be given a major return. That’ll be after all of this.

Final note: From now on, the updates about the show will be under the hashtag #fandomonium.

We are just a month away from our third Fandomonium.

I do consider myself a semi-professional Smash player, with many losses in my history fo tournaments. From Melee to Smash 4, I have never won a game, ever. . . until today at BYU-Idaho! There was this thing called Fandomonium, basically a sad version of any big convention, like that pony con with the ball pit. Anyways, there they had a smash tournament, though it being Brawl, I was not scared of the challenge! My main is Olimar and after 1 Capt. Falcon and 3 Marths, I finally won a tournament! Though granted it wasn’t a big tournament, I still got this cool trophy for winning.Some of my roommates also participated and they were ecstatic when I won, so was the audience, because Marth players usually win, but an Olimar main won.
