Being a sheep in the Devildom wasn’t as bad as it may seem at first glance.
There’s no denying that safety was an issue. After all, you were small and somewhat defenseless if a demon tried to attack you.
But, you didn’t need to use nearly as many resources to take care of yourself. And, on top of that, it was easy to make friends when you looked so adorable and approachable.
Being a sheep also took away the social construct of beauty. There was no way anyone could judge the way you dressed or did your hair because you were simply a sheep.
So, while there was a bit of an adjustment period at first, by the end of your exchange year in the Devildom, you had grown accustomed to being a small creature.
But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and before you knew it, it was time for you to leave the Devildom.
You were heartbroken to leave your friends - but, you weren’t even sure if they could see the tears you were shedding as a sheep.
And then with a blink of an eye, you were teleported back to the human world and that was the end of it.
Luckily, the spell wore off pretty quickly when you returned to the human world and you had your normal body back.
And whether or not that was what you wanted, you knew it was probably for the best. After all, what considerations were held for you as a sheep in the Devildom, certainly wouldn’t be held in the human world.
You could be shaved bald for your wool or get put on a farm. Or worse. There were some places where sheep was a common cuisine.
Becoming a human once again required yet another adjustment period. You had to relearn how to walk on two feet instead of four. You had to make sure you were dressed properly and that your hair was neat.
Not to mention the fact that you were starving. As a sheep, you ate such small portions. Now, you felt like you had to make up for lost time.
Everyone from the Devildom continued to stay in contact with you, of course. But, all they could hear was your voice. They couldn’t see you.
So they were none the wiser when it came to your sudden transformation. They were completely in the dark.
At least that was the case until one day, Solomon showed up to see you.
Solomon was planning a trip back to the Devildom and he was planning on taking you.
Truth be told, he missed it down there. The memories that he experienced were full of fun and endearing moments. And, he wanted to make some more.
You were typically at the center of those memories, and as such, he couldn’t imagine returning to the Devildom without you.
The two of you had stayed in touch, sending messages here and there and even calling when the time allowed it.
But, it was nothing like before - which is why Solomon decided to surprise you by showing up in person.
He used a tracking spell to find your location and continued to text you to keep up the ruse.
His eyes scanned the area for your little sheep form and he got a bit worried when he couldn’t find you. He was positive he had done the tracking spell right.
That’s when he noticed someone walking and texting - on a D.D.D.
It wasn’t like those were popular in the human world. You could only get them from the Devildom - which meant…
The realization dawned on Solomon that the spell that turned you into a sheep would have worn off by now, and he connected the dots.
He took a brief couple of moments to take in your new appearance. He felt privileged to be the first one to see you in your human form.
Then he approached you and he couldn’t help the smile that formed on his lips when you looked into his eyes with soft familiarity in yours.
Solomon would love to whisk you away and spend the day with you. To have some alone time with you before the others stole every second of your time.
But - he was on a mission. He came to you for a reason.
A reason that he didn’t give you much time to ponder over before teleporting the two of you back to the Devildom.
Back to your friends.
Lucifer was stunned when he watched two humans fall through the portal that had opened up in the middle of the assembly room.
He recognized Solomon right away. He wore a smile as he landed on his feet gracefully.
The one Lucifer didn’t recognize was the human who had crash-landed on top of Satan.
From his position, Lucifer could see that they were attractive, but why had Solomon brought them there?
“Whoops. Sorry, about that Y/N. I really should’ve warned you to be careful where you land,” Solomon stated and it all became clear to Lucifer.
You were the human that had stolen all of their hearts. You were the one they had been pining over and longing for since the moment you left the Devildom.
And now you were in your true form.
And your true form seemed to have an even greater effect on the eldest.
“Y/N…?! Solomon…!” were the only two words that came out of Lucifer’s mouth as he was still trying to process everything.
He was trying to hold it together. He was doing what he could to not show any weakness.
He wanted to remain as calm and composed as he normally was, but his eyes refused to listen as they were continuously drawn to you, taking in every inch of your appearance.
And when you finally smiled at him, he knew it was over for him.
“AAAAAH!! Wha…wha…WHA?! Is this really…are you really really…REALLY?!”
Levi was so overwhelmed by the situation that he wasn’t able to form real words.
He felt like his brain was racing at a hundred words a second.
He had just got his friend back - his true friend.
And he was so excited to see you again.
Except it wasn’t the you he had gotten to know over the past year.
Now, you were back in your human body and despite him mostly being excited, he couldn’t help but be intimidated.
Like Lucifer, Levi did his best to not trail his eyes over your new body and when he caught himself doing so, his cheeks turned a bright pink and he mentally scolded himself.
Levi could barely manage to not freak out in your presence when you were a sheep. How was he supposed to do that now that you were a human?
And not just any human, but an attractive one!
Levi’s overthinking could have given him a panic attack on the spot if it weren’t for the fact that he was in front of everyone else.
He just needed to keep reminding himself that you were the same person he had come to know and love.
Maybe then he would still be able to hang out with you despite the fact that your new form made his heart race and made his palms sweaty.
“Y/N, it’s YOU! It’s REALLY YOU!”
Asmo’s excitement showed more than his other brothers’ as they all processed your new form in their own way.
Asmo, for one, was soo ecstatic about the new change in your appearance.
Could you blame him? He was the Avatar of Lust and you just showed up in a new body.
When you were a sheep, you had a personality that could charm anyone, anywhere.
And now you had a body that could do the same.
Asmo’s eyes had a special glint in them as his questions filled his mind.
How smooth was your skin?
Were your lips as soft as they appeared?
Did your hair feel as healthy as it looked?
Asmo got even more excited as he realized now he would be able to do all of the beauty treatments with you and see them in full effect.
There was only so much you could do as a sheep. After all, wool was a lot different from skin.
If he’s caught staring at your new body, Asmo will be shameless about it.
It’s not like he doesn’t have a good reason to stare.
He just couldn’t wait for the student council meeting to be over so they could all take you back to the House of Lamentation.
Asmo wanted every single one of his questions answered, and he couldn’t do that in the middle of the Assembly Hall.
Well…he could, but Lucifer would probably be mad.
Mammon went through a full mood swing.
At first, he was confused because a random human just dropped into the middle of their meeting.
But when Solomon said your name, everything changed for Mammon.
He hadn’t stopped blushing since he realized that the random human was - his human.
Mammon had a hard time trying not to admit his feelings for you when you were a sheep.
But now - now you were a human.
A human that he could hug, kiss, and cuddle if you let him.
He told his mind to stop thinking such thoughts but it would respond by flooding his brain with even more thoughts and images.
He wore a smile the more he looked at you. He had missed you so much.
But, in his true, tsundere fashion, he couldn’t let you catch onto how much he missed you.
“Wait, wh…huh?!...I knew you missed me and all, but THIS is just crazy!”
Mammon thought he did a good job of remaining composed.
He believed he did a good job of hiding the fact that you being there - in this form - was making his head spin and making him weak in the knees.
But when the two of you locked eyes, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to keep his charade up for much longer.
You were his weakness as a sheep, now you were his kryptonite.
“Y/N…”
Satan was trying to analyze the situation.
You fell on top of him when you came out of the portal and he was completely blindsided by the contact.
So he was trying to still gather his bearings while his brothers spoke.
When he finally did manage to get back to his feet, Satan asked, “Do you want to tell me why you just appeared out of thin air and landed on my head?”
But as Satan faced you to ask that question, he took in your appearance and a small blush coated his cheeks.
Suddenly, he was happy that you landed on him. Thankful even.
He had noticed that when you landed on him, you were definitely bigger than a little sheep.
But he didn’t expect this.
He couldn’t imagine if you would have landed on one of his other brothers, especially Lucifer.
The thought alone threatened to spark his wrath.
Satan let his eyes trail down you, studying your new body as if it were a new piece of information he was learning.
And he had never been so excited to learn.
This was a subject he would happily study in depth if you allowed him to.
For now, Satan settled on helping you to your feet, your hand feeling much softer and warmer than the hoof that he was used to feeling.
And as you stood close to him, his heart skipped a beat.
He knew that everyone was going to be in deep trouble now that you had gotten your true form back.
“How about that! Y/N, it’s really you!!”
Diavolo had a boyish grin on his face as he spoke to you. He had missed you just as much as the brothers had, whether he showed it as much as they did or not.
He knew that the spell that turned you into a sheep must have worn off by now.
But, still, it was a surprise to see you in your human body.
He had to admit - you were quite the head-turner.
A twinge of fear set into Diavolo as he questioned how you ended up in the Devildom again.
“Wait, you didn’t perform some sort of unsavory ritual to cast your soul down here, did you?! You better not have!”
When you shook your head no, Diavolo let out a breath of relief, knowing that you were okay.
“I can’t believe you’re actually back here with us again!” he added, his smile returning.
Diavolo could see how good you were for his kingdom.
He could see the way you changed things for the better, and he could see how negative things were without you.
Your presence brought a light to their lives that he had been missing.
And that light shone even brighter in your real body.
Diavolo would be lying if he said he didn’t find you attractive. He would be lying if he said he hadn’t been sneaking glances this entire time.
But he had to keep his composure in front of everyone.
When the two of you were alone though - and he would make sure that you had some alone time - that’s when he would let his true feelings show.
“Yes. This really is quite the happy surprise. It’s good to see you again, Y/N.”
Barbatos was as professional as ever, but you could see his eyes sparkling just a bit more than usual and his smile reaching just a little further.
Like Diavolo, Barbatos knew that the spell would have worn off by now.
But, it wasn’t something that was talked about.
It wasn’t a typical topic of conversation and because of that, it was easy to forget that the next time any of them would see you, you wouldn’t be a sheep.
Barbatos was pleasantly surprised.
He had seen your human form once before - the details of which he won’t disclose.
But, seeing you in your human body after he had gotten to know you was completely different.
It elevated his opinion of you and made him believe you really were the most attractive creature he had met.
No other human, demon, or angel had made his heart race the way you did.
Barbatos had taken a backseat during your first year in the Devildom.
He allowed you to make connections with the others first.
But, now, he was excited for his turn.
There were a lot more things he could teach you and bond with you over now that you had your human body back and he was going to take advantage of each of those things.
Belphie had been doing his best to not fall asleep in the student council meeting.
The last time he did, Lucifer caught and punished him with a whole lot of work and Belphie did not want a repeat of that.
So, he was thankful when the portal opened up, providing a necessary distraction from the boring events that were taking place.
When he saw Solomon fall through the portal, Belphie perked up a bit, curious as to what the mysterious sorcerer had planned this time.
He noticed another human had fallen on top of his older brother and bit back a chuckle at the scene.
When Solomon stated your name, Belphie’s blood ran cold as he began to process the shock.
Was that really you…in that body?!
Belphie had a hundred things to say and to ask. But, he couldn’t get a word in between everyone else, so he quietly took in everything about you.
Your voice was the same and you acted the same. It really was you.
Belphie couldn’t help but wonder if it would be more fun to cuddle you now.
He would miss the softness of your wool, but would you be warmer now? Or more comfortable to lay on top of?
Belphie was pulled from his thoughts when he noticed you being bombarded with questions of why you were there and he finally decided to speak up.
“Listen, I am curious to know why you’re here. But before we get into that, are you going to be staying for a while? Because if so, you’ll be staying at the House of Lamentation, right? Oh, but wait…I bet your room’s covered in dust…”
“No problem, Y/N can just sleep in our room.”
Like Belphie, Beel had remained silent until then.
He had been happily munching on a snack, paying the bare minimum of attention to Diavolo during the meeting as he ate.
But he hadn’t been able to take another bite since you and Solomon fell through the portal.
Was that what you looked like on a normal basis? Why didn’t you tell him?
He knew that you were a human that had been placed under a sheep transformation spell, but his imagination never could have come up with the beauty you exuded.
You were on a different level than others and he couldn’t take his eyes away from you.
He noticed his other brothers were having the same trouble looking away, and Beel suddenly felt a twinge of jealousy.
You were in your own body now and part of him wished he was the only one who was able to see it.
Well…it was okay if Belphie saw you like this too.
But, the others were looking at you with a look of lust in their eyes and Beel wanted to sweep you into his arms and keep you from them.
Which is why he jumped at the opportunity to offer his and Belphie’s room to you.
He couldn’t imagine you staying with one of his other brothers after seeing the look in their eyes.
Surely, something would happen if you did and Beel wanted to burn that imagery out of his mind.
Simeon had been in contact with the others in the Devildom and when he found out that you had returned, he couldn’t help but feel like he was missing out.
The demons weren’t the only ones who missed seeing you and talking to you.
He felt like he was missing out even more when they told him that you were back in your human form.
Simeon could only imagine what you looked like. What your hair color was, whether you were tall or short, and what kind of clothes you liked to wear?
That possibilities were driving Simeon crazy and before he knew it, he was finding some way to bring you to the Celestial Realm so that he could see you.
He was beyond happy and excited when you agreed to go, and he paced nervously by the gates as he waited for your arrival.
When the gates finally did open, revealing you and Solomon, Simeon felt his breath leave his body.
He always joked about you being an angel based on the things you did, but now you looked like one.
Simeon could write an entire book on how ethereal and stunning you were.
He did his best to remind himself that he was an angel and shouldn’t be entertaining any thoughts that the demons surely had.
But - you were the first human he had ever met that elicited those ideas from him.
He wasn’t sure how much time he had with you - but he knew that he had to make the most of it.
One of the benefits of being a bit more uncultured and younger than everyone else was that someone’s form didn’t have the same implications for him.
LUKE
Luke had heard from Simeon that you were in your human body, but he didn’t think too much of it.
It didn’t matter if you were a human, a sheep, or anything else. You were still the friend that he came to know and love and want to protect.
Luke had been so excited to show you around the Celestial Realm that he didn’t waste a moment on taking in your new appearance.
Raphael had caught a glimpse of you while you were in the Celestial Realm.
In fact, you would have believed he didn’t notice if it hadn’t been for the fact that you were now bigger than him and did things that you couldn’t do as a sheep.
RAPHAEL
He knew that Simeon and Luke had been excited to see you, so he didn’t dare take your time like they did.
But he saw you chasing after Luke and it made him stop in his tracks as he couldn’t help but stare at you.
He may not have understood your appeal as a sheep. But, seeing you now, he could understand why exactly you had everyone wrapped around your finger.
Mephisto was a bit slow to realize who you were.
And if he wasn’t careful he was sure that someday he may find himself in the same position as the others.
MEPHISTO
He had seen you walking around the Devildom with the others and couldn’t help but wonder who you were and why Diavolo and the others were so close to you.
He had to admit that you were rather attractive, but surely your looks couldn’t be the only reason they were drawn to you.
It wasn’t until one of them said your name while walking by Mephisto that all of the dots connected in his head.
And he wore a small blush as he realized the one he had been admiring from afar was none other than the human exchange student.
The news didn’t deter him though. Instead, it enticed him.
Your new body enticed him.
Thirteen was the last to find out about your new form.
He would have to make himself more useful to Diavolo so that he could find a way to grow closer to you.
THIRTEEN
Like Luke, your body didn’t really make much of a difference to her. After all, she was mostly interested in looking at your soul, and that didn’t change whether you were sheep or human.
But, seeing you for the first time still surprised her. You didn’t look anything like she would have expected - in a good way.
Surely, you would be more useful in helping her make traps in this form.
And she had to admit you were pleasing to look at…

It wasn’t unusual for Lucifer to get snappy with others.
He was constantly overworked and over exhausted and his brothers liked to cause as much trouble for him as possible.
But, no matter how tired he was, Lucifer always did his best to keep his composure around you.
He had been working really hard on a specific project for Lord Diavolo recently and you could see how tired he was.
You made frequent trips to his study, bringing him his favorite drink and massaging his shoulders whenever you could to try to help.
But, now Lucifer was barely able to keep his eyes open anymore and you couldn’t stand to see him like this.
You carefully approached him and gently rubbed his arm, taking a seat next to him. He didn’t even look up from his papers.
“Lucifer, I think you should take a break,” you told him honestly.
“I don’t have time for that Y/N,” he replied, continuing to work.
“At least for a little bit? A break would do you some good,” you tried again, and he let out an irritated sigh.
“I already told you, I don’t have time for that,” he reiterated, more annoyed this time.
But, you were really worried about him, so you didn’t want to give up so easily.
“Lucifer,” you began again and he slammed his hand down on his desk making you let out a small gasp.
“What I’m doing is important and I need to concentrate, so if you’re just going to keep pestering me then just leave because, at this point, all you are is a nuisance,” he stated coldly.
You looked at him for a moment, feeling the sting of his words but not knowing how to react. He didn’t even care enough to see that his words had hurt you.
“Fine,” you muttered before getting up and leaving his study.
Lucifer was really in the thick of it with work so he didn’t even realize the words that he had said and how they must have hurt you until later.
He was still in his study and he sat back in his chair, rolling shoulders as he let out a small groan of pain. They were sore from spending so much time in the same position. Usually, you would try and massage them to help prevent them from getting to this point.
He then looked down at his teacup and noticed that it was completely empty and had been for a while. But, you always made sure to bring him his favorite drink so that he could continue to work.
That’s when Lucifer began thinking back to the last time he saw you enter his study and what happened the last time.
He let out a deep sigh as he replayed the words he had said to you in his head. Surely, you knew that he didn’t mean them, right? He loved you and you had to know that.
He wanted nothing more than to go and apologize to you but he had to keep working. It was his responsibility.
Meanwhile, you avoided Lucifer’s study at all costs. You were just trying to help Lucifer and if he couldn’t see that then you didn’t have anything else to say to him.
Lucifer only lasted one day without seeing you when he started to grow concerned. He tried sending you a couple of text messages, not wanting to leave his study, but he was met with crickets and he couldn’t stand it any longer.
He had reached a point in the project where, perhaps, he could take a small break and he immediately went to your bedroom, knocking on your door.
There was no answer and while he was tempted to break it down to make sure you weren’t in there ignoring him, he kept his composure.
You had just come back from the kitchen, a drink in hand when you saw Lucifer standing in front of your bedroom door.
You stopped in your tracks as the two of you made eye contact and you took in his appearance.
He looked even more miserable than he did the last time you saw him.
Neither of you said anything for a few moments, just staring at each other.
After another moment, you spun on your heels, trying to retreat back to the kitchen.
Lucifer was in front of you in an instant, inches away from you and the close proximity itself was enough to start revitalizing him.
“Are you avoiding me?” he asked, his deep voice wanting to make you swoon after not hearing it for an entire day. But, you stood your ground.
“Why shouldn’t I be? Since I’m just a nuisance to you and all,” you replied, your eyes filled with noticeable seriousness and hurt.
It took a lot to make Lucifer falter, but when you threw his words to you back at him, he nearly winced as if you slapped him.
He took a step closer to you before telling you, “You know that I don’t really think that.”
You let out a small sigh as you looked down to the ground and Lucifer realized that maybe he had really messed up this time. Maybe you really didn’t know how he truly felt about you.
He gently raised your chin with one of his gloved hands so that you were looking at him before gently pressing his lips on yours in an intimate kiss.
When he pulled away, his eyes locked with you as he told you, “You could never be a nuisance to me, because I love you.”
And those were the words you were waiting to hear - the ones that always made you swoon even if you were mad at him.
“Please, come back and join me in my study,” he asked, his hand dropping down to interlace his fingers with yours.
Under his intense gaze, you couldn’t help but feel your resolve cracking as you allowed him to lead you to his study.
Once there, you told Lucifer, “You still have some making up to do.” Lucifer smirked slightly at your words before sitting down on his chair and pulling you into his lap.
You nearly spilled your drink at his actions and his smirk only grew. “I still have some work to do, but this way, I can pay attention to you as well,” he told you, one arm wrapping around you to keep you in place while the other continued to write on the document in front of him.
You opened your mouth to reply, but Lucifer continued to speak before you could, his lips inches from your ear as he told you, “Then, when I’m done with this, you can have my full attention.”
Mammon had just completed a long photoshoot for a magazine that wanted him to be his model.
It was a lot of work, but the paycheck was worth it and he already knew what he wanted to do with it. Take you on a date!
Mammon was so excited to take you out that you couldn’t help but say yes.
He was always in a good mood whenever he came into money, no matter how that may be, but it was even better when he got to spend time with you because of it.
He had a whole plan to take you to a traveling carnival that was passing through the Devildom and the two of you left almost immediately.
The carnival was a lot bigger than you were expecting, filled with rides, food stalls, thrill acts and so much more.
You had been enjoying your time with Mammon there and it was one of the rare times that you got to see him drop his act and just be himself around you without the worry of one of his brothers being around.
He was even holding your hand the entire time, a small blush coating his cheeks as he tried to play the action off like it was no big deal.
After going on one of the more thrilling rides, the two of you decided to take a break and you sat down on a nearby bench as you watched one of the acts that was performing.
Your head rested against Mammon’s shoulder and this thumb traced circles on the back of your hand.
Suddenly, a random demon appeared sitting right next to Mammon and looking at the two of you.
You raised your head to pay attention, confused as to what he wanted and the demon leaned in closer, talking in a quiet voice. Mammon was about to tell him to get lost when the demon spoke.
“You’re Mammon, the Avatar of Greed, right?” the demon asked with hope in his eyes.
You and Mammon shared a look, questioning how this demon knew Mammon and that was all the confirmation he needed.
“I knew it!” he said with a smile before adding, “Please, sir, follow me and I’ll lead you to the undercover casino.”
Mammon’s eyes widened at his words. “Undercover casino?” Mammon asked. He didn’t know there would be one at this carnival.
“Yes, you’re one of our best patrons. If you come with me, we can treat you to the full service,” the demon replied and you could practically see Mammon’s eyes light up with gold.
“Mammon, I don’t think we should-,” you tried to say but you were cut off by him jumping up, a large smile on his face.
“Lead the way!” Mammon said and the demon lit up as he began showing the two of you the way.
“Mammon, I think this is a bad idea,” you told him and he gave your hand a small squeeze.
“Don’t worry! We’ll only stay for a few minutes,” he replied, and you let out a small sigh. It was never a few minutes.
And you were right, just like you knew you would be. The two of you were there for at least an hour as Mammon’s train of thought was completely taken over by his greed.
“I’m sorry, sir, but if you want to keep playing, you’ll have to put up more money,” the dealer stated and Mammon searched his wallet for more. Empty.
“Y/N, loan me some money, will ya’?” Mammon asked and you could feel yourself start to get annoyed.
“Mammon, you already lost all of the money you earned from that job. Let’s just call it a night,” you tried to reason with him, but his lips turned into a frown.
“C’mon, don’t be such a killjoy. I’m gonna win big this time, I know it!” Mammon tried to convince you, but you were done with the casino.
“Mammon, we should go home,” you stated more firmly.
“I spent the whole night doin’ what you wanted, so the least you could do is spend some time doin’ what I want!” Mammon argued.
His words cut you, but you tried to gain control of the situation. “Mammon-,” you tried once again but he cut you off with a loud groan of frustration.
“If I wanted someone to ruin my fun then I would have taken Lucifer,” Mammon stated before muttering, “Jeez, I don’t even know why I took ya’ out in the first place.”
Your heart dropped at his words as you felt tears sting your eyes, but you wouldn’t let him see them fall. Fine.
You searched through your things to find your money and handed it to Mammon who had a large smile on his face at the sight of it. “Bet as much as you want. I’m going home,” you stated before walking away and back to the House of Lamentation.
Just as you knew, once again, Mammon lost all of the money you had given him and now he had nothing left.
He looked around the casino for you and when he couldn’t find you, he started calling you and texting you. Did you really leave?
As the money-hungry fog started to lift from his mind, Mammon was able to start thinking clearly and he realized just how badly he had messed up.
He continued to try to call you as he made his way back to the House of Lamentation, but you refused to answer his calls.
When he got to the house, he immediately went to your room and knocked on your bedroom door, but he was met with more silence.
He tried to get you to open the door the entire night but when he realized you weren’t going to, he sulked back to his room. How was he supposed to fix this if you wouldn’t talk to him?
Your silent treatment continued for the next few days. You wouldn’t talk to him at RAD and you would lock him out of your room before he had a chance to talk to you back at the House of Lamentation.
Mammon was growing more and more depressed about it too. He wasn’t sleeping, he was barely eating, and he felt like there was nothing he could do about it.
You had purposefully been only leaving your room at times when you thought Mammon would be out of the house or asleep.
It was too painful to see after the things he said to you when you were just trying to keep him from getting further into debt.
It was a little after midnight when you decided to go to the kitchen to get some food. You managed to make it to the fridge with no problem, but right as you grabbed the item you wanted, Mammon suddenly entered.
The two of you looked at each other in shock, neither one of you expecting the other to be there.
You wanted nothing more than to go back to your room, but he was blocking the exit.
“Uh…hi,” Mammon said, looking down at the ground. He was nervous and under any other circumstance, you would feel a little bad for him.
He didn’t say anything else, so you decided to try to push past him to get back to your room.
But as you passed him, Mammon gently grabbed your arm. “Wait,” he said, finally bringing himself to look at you and you paused to listen to what he had to say.
He was bad at speeches so he said the first thing that came to his mind. “I miss ya’.”
And his puppy dog eyes and those words that sounded so sad were enough to almost make you cave. Almost.
Mammon could tell it wasn’t enough so he continued to say, “I’m sorry about what I said. You’re the only one I want to go out with and I don’t know why ya’ even agreed to go out with me,” he told you honestly and you could see the heartbreak in his eyes, shattering the walls that you had put up.
You gently reached up and cupped his cheek with one of your hands and he immediately leaned into your touch.
You pulled away after a moment and began walking to your room, leaving a very confused Mammon standing there.
You turned back to face him when you realized he wasn’t following you and you motioned towards your room before asking, “Are you coming?”
He got a big smile at your words and he nodded his head, letting you lead him to your room.
As soon as you shut the door, Mammon engulfed you in his arms, pulling you onto the bed and refusing to let go.
You let yourself melt in his embrace before telling him, “No more gambling on dates.”
He gently pressed his lips to yours before replying, “Promise.”
There were a few things that Levi was uptight about and those things usually had something to do with either his anime, manga, or videogames.
Other than those things, Levi was usually pretty nonchalant. He didn’t care what others did or didn’t do and he didn’t complain if they didn’t spend time with him.
He just usually did his own thing and you admired him for that.
It didn’t take long for you and Levi to start hanging out, common interests bringing the two of you together.
And Levi soon found that he was going against all of his beliefs as a shut-in. He was starting to actually care about what others did. Well, about what one person did in particular.
Things that Levi used to love to do by himself didn’t seem as fun when you weren’t around, so he tried to invite you over as much as he possibly could.
You didn’t mind at all because Levi usually invited you to do something you liked doing anyway.
Levi never had someone that liked the same things he liked as much as you did, which is probably what added to his infatuation of spending time with you.
And it was like a secret that only the two of you shared, or a language that only the two of you knew how to speak.
Or, that’s how Levi thought of it until he caught you and Solomon talking at RAD.
You had mentioned one of your and Levi’s favorite games to Solomon and he had, surprisingly, known about it.
So the two of you started talking about all your favorite characters and mechanics of the game.
In your defense, it was a completely innocent conversation between friends, but Levi didn’t see it that way.
What he saw is the way you smiled at Solomon as he spoke, in a way that Levi only wanted you to look at him.
And what he heard was the way you sweetly laughed at Solomon’s jokes, with a laugh that was supposed to be reserved for his ears.
And then, you invited Solomon to come over to the House of Lamentation and play the game with you and Levi.
His sin had taken over him faster than he could process what was happening and he stood in between you and Solomon in his demon form, a very unhappy look on his place.
“Levi? Are you okay?” you asked him, worried when you saw the form he was in.
“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked you, sending a glance to Solomon.
“We were just talking,” you replied, confused as to what he was getting at.
“You invited him to play our game!” Levi snapped back and you and Solomon shared a look as you realized why he might be upset.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t think it would be a big deal,” you replied honestly. Solomon and Levi were friends and Solomon had come over lots of time to play games with Levi, so why should this time be any different?
But your words seemed to only set Levi off more as his insecurities got the better of him.
“Well, it might not seem like a big deal to you but it’s a big deal to me,” he replied and you could hear the hurt in his voice. The conversation was spiraling and you didn’t know how to stop it.
“Levi, I didn’t mean anything by that,” you tried to reason but he was too far in his head down.
“This is what I get I guess,” he stated and you looked at him.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you questioned.
“It means I never should have tried to be friends with some lame normie who doesn’t care about anyone but themselves,” Levi snapped back and this time it was your turn to be hurt.
“Let’s all calm down,” Solomon interjected, trying to de-escalate the situation and Levi’s demon form caught the attention of Lucifer. Levi knew furthering the fight would only get him involved, so he backed down.
“Whatever,” Levi muttered before walking away and Solomon turned to you.
“Are you okay?” Solomon asked you and you replied with a short, “I’m fine.”
You went back to the House of Lamentation with the full intention of avoiding Levi and giving him the silent treatment, which was all too easy to do because he didn’t leave his room after the fight.
You were both getting more and more miserable as you spent time apart, but Levi was upset because he thought you liked Solomon and you were upset because of what he said to you so neither of you were ready to apologize.
After about a week of the two of you not speaking, it was starting to affect everyone else as well.
Solomon decided to do something about it since he was technically involved.
He came to Levi’s room, fully expecting Levi to not answer the door; but, he had.
Truth be told, Levi had only opened it in the hopes that you would be on the other side but he was largely disappointed when he saw Solomon standing there.
“What are you doing here?” Levi asked and Solomon gave him an innocent smile.
“I was hoping to talk to you for a moment,” Solomon replied.
“About what?” Levi asked and Solomon’s expression turned to a serious one.
“About Y/N,” he replied and at the mention of your name, a blush rose to Levi’s cheeks.
“I don’t want to talk about them,” Levi replied, attempting to shut the door to his room but Solomon stopped him.
“Please, just listen,” Solomon said and Levi, having no choice, let him continue.
“The only reason that Y/N and I were talking about the game was because they were telling me how much they’ve been enjoying playing it with you,” Solomon told Levi.
“So?” Levi asked and Solomon wanted to roll his eyes at the oblivious demon.
“They were telling me about how much they’ve been enjoying spending time with you,” Solomon tried to further clarify.
Something clicked in Levi’s mind this time and his cheeks burned a furious red as he understood what Solomon was trying to say.
He quickly slammed the door on Solomon’s face to process the new information on his own and then he felt like a total idiot for snapping at you.
It only took him a few more minutes to show up at your door, nervously knocking on it.
You opened it a few moments later and Levi saw his own miserableness reflected on you.
“I…I know I messed everything up a-and you’ll probably never forgive me. But, I wanted to say I’m sorry and ask if you wanted to play some games,” Levi said practically in one breath before he could chicken out of it.
He held your favorite game in his hands along with some snacks, hoping that you would let him in.
“Why would you want to spend time with a lame normie like me?” you asked and Levi winced at your words. He deserved that.
He let out a defeated sigh, casting his gaze down at the floor before telling you, “Because I don’t think you're lame. You’re the most amazing person I know. But, if you don’t want to play that’s fine, I’ll just leave you alone.”
His dejected look pulled at your heartstrings and you couldn’t help but stop him by gently grabbing his arms.
He looked back at you with hopeful eyes and you told him, “Maybe we can play for a little bit.”
Levi immediately rushed into your room, a bright smile on his face that was contagious as he set everything up.
This was only the beginning of his apology and he was going to make sure he made up for what he said.
And maybe, just maybe, along with an apology he could also confess his feelings for you.
Out of all the demon brothers, Satan was the best at holding a grudge.
After all, he had been holding once against Lucifer for his entire life.
Satan was a classy demon but he was equally stubborn and if he didn’t want to back down from a fight, there was no making him do so.
So, when the two of you got into a fight, you knew that it was going to be one with lasting consequences.
Satan had invited you on a day trip that involved a long train ride both to and from the destination.
He didn’t want you to be bored so he offered to lend you one of his books.
Everything was going so perfectly and it was a very romantic outing filled with sweet nothings and intimate moments.
But, then the time to go back home came and that’s when it all started falling apart.
You were frantically trying to search your bag for the book that Satan had lent you while you waited for the train to arrive, but you couldn’t find it anywhere.
Satan noticed your frantic movements beside him and he raised an eyebrow as he looked at you.
“What are you looking for?” he asked you as you continued to search.
“Your book,” you replied, and the content expression that was on his face moments before dropped as he felt a flicker of anger inside of him.
“The book I let you borrow?” Satan asked as you closed your bag with a frustrated sigh.
“Yes. I’m sorry, Satan, I must have left it on the train when we got off it,” you told him, a contrite expression on your face. You felt awful.
“How could you be so careless?” Satan asked and you were taken aback by his words.
“I didn’t mean to,” you argued but Satan’s wrath was only growing further and once he went down this road, it was almost impossible to stop.
“That was one of my favorite books! I only let you borrow it as a gesture of kindness,” he stated.
“Satan, I told you I was sorry. I’ll buy you another copy when we get back,” you responded.
“It won’t be the same,” he snapped back, refusing to look at you now.
“I think you’re overreacting,” you replied and you knew those words were a mistake because if he wasn’t angry before, that definitely set him off.
The two of you engaged in a very heated exchange as others looked on and the only thing that stopped you was the arrival of the train.
You and Satan refused to talk to each other the whole way back and you sat in anger and embarrassment for causing such a big scene.
You immediately went to your separate rooms as soon as you got back to the House of Lamentation and you were left to wonder how such a simple thing could ruin not only the way back but the entire trip when the two of you had been so happy together moments before that.
Satan could admit to himself that he may have overreacted a bit, but admitting it to you was a completely different story. And, you believed that you already apologized so what else was there to say?
Which left the two of you at an impasse. You wouldn’t speak to each other or even look at each other despite the ache you had for each other.
The others had heard about what happened and tried to get the two of you to talk. After all, they all agreed that you were fighting over something trivial, but neither you nor Satan gave in.
It wasn’t until the two of you got stuck in a situation a couple of weeks later that he realized how stupid the argument was.
Satan was reading in the library at the House of Lamentation and you walked in to grab your own book, not expecting him to be there.
As soon as you saw him, you averted your gaze, focusing on finding the book you were looking for.
Satan kept occasionally glancing at you while you searched, but he didn’t say anything.
Finally, you found the book you were looking for, but it was in a stack of books on top of one of the bookshelves.
You were struggling to reach it and could use some help. Specifically from a demon who was already there.
Satan kept his eyes on his book, a smug smile threatening to form as he knew you needed help and would have to talk to him to ask him for it.
But, you refused to give him the satisfaction, so you tried to grasp it yourself, causing them all to tumble.
You let out a gasp of pain as they fell on top of you, one of the larger ones hitting you in the head and knocking you out.
Satan was on his feet the instant he saw what happened and he quickly approached you with worry in his eyes.
You had a small cut on your forehead that was bleeding and when he saw that you were knocked out, the guilt instantly flooded him. He should’ve just helped you.
He carried you to his bedroom and treated the small cut on your forehead before sitting next to you, watching you sleep.
He wouldn’t be able to rest until he knew for a fact that you were okay.
A little while later, you began to stir and when you fluttered your eyes open, you were met with concerned, green ones.
“How are you feeling?” he asked you immediately and you slowly began to remember what happened.
“My head hurts,” you admitted and he nodded his head, handing you some pain medicine.
You took it gratefully and as it fell silent, you realized Satan had just talked to you.
Your eyes widened as you turned to look at him again. He must have known what you were thinking because he let out a small sigh before climbing into the bed with you and pulling you into him.
You moved your head back just a bit so that you could look at him.
“I’m sorry for overreacting and for calling you careless,” he told you as he lovingly looked into your eyes, gently brushing some of your hair out of your face before leaving his fingers tangled in it.
“I’m sorry for losing your book,” you replied, savoring every moment of the touch you had craved.
“I can always get another copy,” he reassured you, gently pressing a kiss to your forehead before telling you, “You’re what I’m afraid of losing more than anything. I can’t ever get another copy of you and I wouldn’t want it.”
You pressed a soft kiss to his lips before replying, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Satan smiled at you before pulling you onto his chest so that he could hold you.
Asmo was quick and witty when he wanted to be.
His greatest fighting tactic was his words and everyone knew that.
He could be mean to those who deserved it - but you would never deserve it.
You would never be on the opposite end of Asmo’s repartee because he simply loved you too much.
So, when Asmo said something to you that had crossed the line, he didn’t even realize it until after he said the words.
You had been having a particularly rough day and you sought Asmo out for some comfort.
He immediately suggested that the two of you have a spa day. It was the perfect way to relax!
Of course, Asmo was already fully prepared for a last-minute spa day.
He told you to just sit back and relax while he got everything ready. He knew that you would need extra pampering that day so he wanted to give you the full treatment.
And Asmo was the best at pampering you - but because of the rough day you had, you were on edge.
While doing different things, Asmo would make small comments about how you could improve certain aspects of your hair and skin routine.
Things like - your hair feels a little dry, you should try using a better conditioner. Or, your skin’s starting to look wrinkly, you need to start a better skincare routine.
To him, these comments were all coming from a place of love. He was just trying to give you advice since he had tried almost every beauty product known to the world.
But with you already being frustrated, the comments started to sound more like nagging; and, they began making you feel a bit self-conscious.
Wanting to avoid an argument, you suggested stopping the spa for now, but when Asmo kept pressing you for the reason, you snapped slightly.
The small argument quickly blew up into a bigger one and Asmo resorted to using his quick wit as a defense mechanism.
By the end of it, you had both said things you didn’t mean and you had left his room quickly, seeking solidarity in your own.
Asmo was the biggest attention seeker in the entire house, so he doesn’t take being ignored or avoided by anyone very well.
But he especially doesn’t take it well when it’s coming from you - the person he loves the most.
The day after the two of you fought, he expected you to be mad, but he had already prepared an apology for that.
The thing about Asmo is that he’s not afraid to apologize for something he did if he feels like he was in the wrong, unlike some of the other brothers.
Besides, the sooner he apologized, the sooner the two of you could make up. And that was his favorite part of any argument.
But, with you not speaking to him and avoiding him at all costs, how was he supposed to apologize?
Asmo only lasted one day of you ignoring him before he was at your door, tears in his eyes begging you to talk to him.
He was very dramatic with his begging, but with how dramatic Asmo usually was, it was par for the course.
If you let him in, he’ll immediately hug you, his arms wrapping around you tightly while he rests his head in the crook of your neck, crying as he apologizes as many times as it takes for you to forgive him.
He didn’t mean to say those things - he would never hurt you on purpose. It was just in the heat of the moment. He’s a very passionate guy after all.
Those are things he’ll tell you, his lips brushing against your skin as he says it, his hands sliding down just a little past what would be considered proper.
All things he knew would chip away at your walls.
He knew everything about you, especially when it came to things you liked. Things that made you cave no matter the situation.
Your resolve was shaky now and Asmo knew it, gently placing kisses on your neck and you subconsciously leaned into his touch, ever so slightly exposing more of your skin to him.
“Asmo,” you warned as he continued his kisses. You wanted to be mad at him, and you wanted to sound mad. But, your walls were crumbling under his touch and when his name left your lips, it was filled with love instead of anger.
A hint of a smile formed on his lips as he heard his name and he looked into your eyes, his eyes drawing you in even more.
“You’ll forgive me, won’t you Y/N?” he asked innocently - far too innocently for the thoughts currently running through his mind.
His lips were inches from yours and you let out a small sigh before closing the gap between the two of you, knowing that you wouldn’t be able to resist him.
You supposed you could let him off with a warning this time. After all, you were the one who snapped first.
Asmo wouldn’t hold it against you though. All that mattered was that the two of you made up.
Beel was absolutely panicking when he realized that you weren’t speaking to him and were avoiding him at all costs.
Mostly because he had no idea what he had done wrong and since you weren’t talking to him, he couldn’t even ask you.
It must have been something bad given the silent treatment. But, he couldn’t even think of something small he might have done - let alone something big enough for you to give him the silent treatment.
He thought about the last time the two of you interacted.
You were in his room with him, and he had pulled you into his lap, wrapping his arms around you.
Your head was pressed against his chest as he held you close, a peaceful smile resting on his face.
He felt content and slowly but surely drifted off.
The next thing he knew, you had moved off him in a rush, exiting his bedroom before he could get a word out and you had been avoiding him ever since.
But, you had a very different recollection of what had happened.
You were cuddling against Beel as previously stated, and you were feeling content as well. Everything just felt right when you were in his arms.
But, only a few minutes into cuddling Beel told you, “I don’t know why we’re still doing this.”
Your eyes immediately snapped open as you tried to process what Beel had just said.
“What?” you asked softly.
His hand was tangled in your hair, holding your head in place, so you couldn’t look up at him to see if he was being serious or not.
“I think this pointless,” he murmured again and your heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t really mean that, right?
“Beel,” you tried to say, but you were cut off by him continuing to speak.
“I think you should go,” he added and you decided to listen to him, pushing yourself off of him and going to your room, locking the door.
You hated that he could hold you so lovingly while he simultaneously broke up with you.
Seeing him was painful so you avoided him at all costs and you didn’t want to hear any excuse he might have so you refused to speak to him.
Beel had been doing everything he could to get your attention, but he failed at every attempt.
The lack of your presence had taken a toll on him. He had been feeling sad and lonely and he missed you more than anything.
Not to mention, he had seen you looking upset and he wanted to know what happened. He wanted to know why you were sad because he hated seeing it.
He would do anything to make you happy, he just wished you would let him help. Whatever it was - he could fix it.
He only lasted a couple of weeks without you before he decided he had to do something.
So one day when you had just gotten home from RAD, he picked you up and carried you to his room, shutting the door and blocking it with his body, despite your many protests.
He knew that his strength overpowered yours so you wouldn’t be able to push past him.
You could use the pact against him to get him to move, but he was hoping you wouldn’t resort to that - he just wanted to talk.
When you realized that Beel had you trapped you let out a sigh, sitting down on his bed. You couldn’t avoid him forever.
“What do you want, Beel?” you asked him, looking anywhere but him. And the way you said his name angrily instead of the affectionate way you used to say it hurt.
But just hearing your voice, even if you sounded mad, was like a breath of fresh air.
He moved closer to you, his big puppy dog eyes, staring at you with so much love as he tried to figure out what to say.
“You seem sad,” he told you, carefully sitting down on the bed next to you and you let out a scoff.
“Of course I’m sad,” you replied and he furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at you.
“Why?” he asked innocently and you looked at him incredulously.
When he saw the look you were giving him, he asked, “Did I do something? Is that why you won’t talk to me?”
And now your eyebrows furrowed in confusion because he wasn’t making any sense.
“You broke up with me,” you stated simply and his eyes widened as he stared at you in disbelief. He would never.
Seeing the look of confusion on his face, you decided to recount the details of that day, telling him everything he said to you.
And his expression went from one of confusion to understanding as he realized what had happened.
Beel had a dream after he fell asleep cuddling you. The usual suspect - Mammon - was trying to get Beel to do something he didn’t want to do. He remembered saying all of those things to his brother in his dream - but he didn’t have any recollection of saying them out loud.
“What?” you asked as he finished talking. He was asleep?!
A small blush coated your cheeks as you realized that you never looked at him. He kept you in place at first and then you were so upset that you walked out without sparing another glance towards him.
Beel pulled you into his lap, wrapping his arms around you the same way he did that day, holding you close to him.
“I love you so much. I would never break up with you,” he told you quietly, hoping that you would accept what he was saying as the truth.
You immediately melted into his touch as you realized it was all a big misunderstanding and your skin felt hot wherever his met yours.
Beel let out a deep breath of relief when you began to relax and he was determined to never let you go again.
The last couple of weeks had been hard on both of you and if nothing else, it was only proof as to how much you loved each other.
He just hoped that his dreams never interfered with your relationship again.
Like Satan, Belphie is one of the most stubborn when it comes to apologizing or admitting he was wrong about something.
He handles issues with the silent treatment in the hopes that they’ll either resolve themselves or simply go away.
He’s never been one for taking the initiative and he’s even less motivated to do so when it comes to an argument.
The two of you had been bickering more than usual thanks to the eldest brother.
Belphie had been slacking off a little too much at RAD in favor of napping and it was starting to affect Lucifer.
He had tried to ask Beel to help his twin brother keep up with his studies, but there was only so much that he could do.
If Belphie didn’t want to do something, then, simply put, he wasn’t going to do it - no matter who Lucifer sicced on him.
But, still, Lucifer asked you to try since you had a bond that was both very different yet equally as important as Beel’s bond to Belphie.
You didn’t want to do it - plain and simple. You knew that it would put you in a hard place with Belphie.
But, as the human exchange student, you couldn’t help but feel like part of your responsibility was to help the demon brothers.
And whether Belphie believed it or not, you were just trying to help him. You knew that if he didn’t get caught up with his studies, the punishment from Lucifer would be much worse than your nagging.
But, after a few days' worth of you waking Belphie up to beg him to do his homework, both of you were getting fed up with it.
Belphie kept complaining about how you sounded like Lucifer and you kept telling him he was acting like a brat.
It didn’t get much further than that though until one night when Belphie decided to be particularly stubborn.
You came into his room just like you had been doing, but it didn’t matter what you did, Belphie refused to get up.
You tried to reason with him, you tried to remind him of what Lucifer would do if he didn’t get up, you even tried to bribe him, but nothing worked.
You sat next to the bed for a while as you tried to figure out your last step, and then an idea popped into your head.
You hated it because you knew that Belphie would hate it, but he left you no choice.
After preparing yourself and running through your plan multiple times, you got up and looked at Belphie who was sleeping peacefully.
You let out a small sigh before leaning closer and grabbing his favorite pillow that he was lying on as well as his favorite blanket.
In an instant, you had snatched them and ran off with them, seeking refuge in your room.
You had barely gotten your door locked when you heard Belphie trying to get into your room.
“Y/N, open the door,” Belphie said, as calmly as he could, but he was already mad.
“You need to do your homework, Belphie,” you replied.
“Just give me my blanket and pillow back,” he responded.
“After you finish your homework,” you reiterated, internally sighing at the situation. You didn’t want to act like his parent and you silently cursed Lucifer for asking you to do this in the first place.
“Ugh, you’re being so annoying!” Belphie snapped, but you were expecting some backlash about this situation.
“You’ll be thanking me later when you don’t have to deal with Lucifer,” you stated and you heard him let out another frustrated sigh.
“This is exactly why I hate humans,” Belphie stated, more to himself than anything, but you heard it loud and clear.
His eyes widened slightly when you opened the door to your bedroom, a look of hurt on your face.
He opened his mouth to take it back but he was cut off by you roughly shoving the blanket and pillow into him before slamming the door in his face and locking it again.
Belphie knew that he went too far so he decided to give you some time to cool off.
The next time he saw you he promised himself he would make it up to you.
But when he saw you next, you refused to look at Belphie, let alone talk to him. And that made Belpie annoyed all over again.
“You’re being childish,” he told you, only furthering your anger towards him.
“Says the one who can’t even be responsible and do their homework without someone breathing down their neck!” you snapped back.
The two of you didn’t talk after that for a long time - too long in the brothers’ opinions.
They knew that you and Belphie were too stubborn to talk to each other on your accord, so they decided to take things into their own hands.
You were sitting on your bed reading when suddenly the door to your bedroom burst open.
You looked up to see Belphie being shoved inside against his will by Beel before he shut the door, making sure to stand guard so Belphie couldn’t leave.
Belphie had a small pout on his face that, despite still being mad at him, you thought looked adorable.
He let out a small sigh, avoiding all eye contact as he did his best to come up with a way to get out of this situation.
The two of you sat in silence for a while, but you both knew it was pointless. Neither of you were leaving until you talked to each other.
Belphie was the master at winning arguments, but just this once, he asked himself what the point of it was. He cared about you way more than winning the argument.
“You know I don’t hate you,” he said quietly, still keeping his eyes anywhere but on you as he spoke.
Your eyes immediately went to him. Was that his version of an apology?
“I was only trying to help you, Belphie,” you explained and he gave you a defeated look.
“I know,” he replied. That’s why this whole argument is pointless.
Belphie moved over to your bed now and sat down next to you, the two of you making eye contact for the first time in what felt like forever.
“I caught up on all my studies,” he added and you let out a breath of relief. At least you wouldn’t have to worry about that anymore.
You were the first to reach out, gently taking his hand in yours. You stared at your intertwined fingers before softly saying, “I missed you.”
His eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight of you, all feelings of the fight disappearing. He was just happy to be in your presence again.
Belphie moved quickly, wrapping you up in his arms and pulling you down into the bed.
“Bel-!” you shouted in surprise but you were cut off by him placing a finger to your lips.
You were laying chest to chest, his face only inches from yours, his arms keeping you there.
“If they hear us talking, they’ll come in; and, I’d rather not be interrupted for a while,” Belphie told you with a sly smirk before placing his lips on yours.
You immediately returned the kiss, a smile forming at the feeling.
No matter what you or Belphie said in the heat of the moment, you knew that your love for each other would never change.

You were apprehensive about going to this event in the first place.
You had just gotten back to the Devildom after being away for some time and you were still readjusting to the way things were down there.
But, your friends had all insisted on taking you to an event that occurred in the streets of the Devildom.

They promised you that you would have a ton of fun ~ so who were you to refuse to go?
It was only after you got to the event that you began to regret your decision to go.
You had all shown up in a large group, but it seemed that everyone had their own things that they wanted you to experience.

They were in competition mode and whenever that happened, you knew that it was hard to get them back on track.
There were tons of people surrounding you; and, despite your best efforts, you couldn’t see a single one of your friends.
You were a bit frustrated at this point, mostly because you had only agreed to go for them.
And, now you were standing in the middle of a crowd of demons, by yourself, unsure where to go or what to do.
You wanted to call someone on your D.D.D. but with how busy it was around you, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to hear anyone even if they did pick up the phone.
You thought about using your pact to summon one of the brothers; but, you didn’t think you were at the stage where that was exactly necessary.
Especially since summoning could cause the brothers pain if it isn’t done properly and it had been a while since you tried to do it.
Unsure of what else to do, you decided to be a little mischievous and test your bond with the others a bit.
You took a deep breath before shouting into the crowd, “Y/N is a good-for-nothing human!”
You paused for a moment, looking around once again, but when you still couldn’t find anyone, you let out a small sigh.
I guess that didn’t work…
“Alright, who said that?!” Mammon shouted, suddenly barreling through people to reach you.
“Oh, there you are!” you said, relieved at the sight of a familiar face and completely forgetting about your little joke.
But, there were fifteen people suddenly rushing to your side who did not forget about what was said.
They each came to you, one by one, hot and heavy and ready to throw punches.
You listened as they each began to throw insults toward this imaginary person as they searched the crowd for who could possibly be the culprit.
You tried to interject a few times, wanting to tell them the truth, but every time you opened your mouth, you were interrupted by another angry person.
“Y/N, did you see who said those words about you so we could find them?” Diavolo asked you, concern in his eyes as everyone turned their attention to you.
You were holding back a laugh as your cheeks dusted pink from all of the attention.
“Sure ~ it was me,” you admitted and their faces turned from ones of anger to confusion.
“Why would you say that stuff about yourself?” Beel asked as innocently as ever.
“Geez, Levi, you’re rubbin’ off on ‘em,” Mammon pouted, causing Levi to look extremely guilty.
“Relax, everyone,” you replied, stifling another laugh.
“I lost you in the crowd and I thought it would catch your attention enough that you would come find me. Looks like I was right,” you explained.
“Well that was risky,” Belphie stated. “Satan nearly lost his mind,” Solomon agreed quietly.
You couldn’t help but notice how adorable they all looked, pouting at the prank you managed to pull off.
“I’m sorry, really. But, I thought the purpose of bringing me to this event was so that I could experience everything with all of you. Not for me to stand alone in the crowd,” you added.
You could feel the tension in the air shift as they realized that they had left you alone and understood where you were coming from.
They completely abandoned you in the middle of this large event. No wonder you pulled that stunt.
They promised not to leave you alone again and they each took you to their favorite parts of the event, making sure that at least one person was with you at all times.
They made you promise that you would never try something like that again.
You had fifteen people who were ready to fight for you at the drop of a dime, and saying something like that, even if you were joking, would always set them off.
Because they cared about you far too much to let something like that slide.
Summary: The brothers find out (thanks to Satan) what a period is and try to help you through yours.
The Seven Demon Brothers x Reader
Word Count: 2,257
Periods are something that has become so normalized in the human world.
It's a natural thing that happens to women and it shouldn’t be something to be embarrassed about.
But, in the Devildom, the only other human you had was a male.
There was no one down there who would understand the process your body goes through once a month.
And that made it hard to talk about it.
You figured it would just be easier to keep them in the dark rather than try and explain it.
But, sometimes when you're on your period, it had a mind of its own.
You were having a bad cramp while at dinner with the brothers and you did your best to hide your pain.
But, Satan could tell you were in pain and he was worried about you. Not to mention, he couldn’t pass up an opportunity to show his brothers how smart he was.
See, Satan was your resident human expert.
When he found out that a human was coming to live with him and his brothers, he read every book he could find about humans and when he was done with those, he grabbed all of the specific books about females.
He wanted to know everything he could before you got down there.
So, when you were having your period in the Devildom, Satan immediately knew what was happening and was well-versed in the subject.
You had all of the tell-tale signs - mood swings, food cravings, headaches, bloating.
Whatever symptom you had, it pointed to it being your time of the month.
There was a conversation already going on amongst his brothers, but Satan ignored it in favor of asking you, “Are you on your period?”
Everyone froze in place at Satan’s question and your face burned a bright red as all of the attention was on you. Who just asks a personal question like that?!
Satan didn’t mean any disrespect. The way it was presented to him in the books was as a natural, common thing that all women go through. So he didn’t you would have any reason to be embarrassed about it.
And maybe if he had approached you about it on his own, things would have been different. But he just blurted the question out…in front of everyone…in the middle of dinner.
Before you could even respond, Mammon asked, “What’s a period?” And your cheeks felt even hotter as you began to slowly sink down in your chair, wishing you could disappear from this conversation.
“You don’t know?” Asmo asked with a glint in his eyes. Of course, the Avatar of Lust would know what a period is. Considering the amount of human women he had probably met you were sure he was as knowledgeable as Satan was about it.
But there was no way the fourth-born would allow his little brother to take his thunder. “Allow me to explain,” Satan stated.
And for the next few torturous minutes, you had to uncomfortably sit there as Satan explained what a period was in vivid detail.
You watched the brothers’ faces go through a whirlwind of reactions until they were all left sitting there speechless and somewhat bothered.
“Well?” Lucifer’s question broke the silence and you turned to face the eldest. He was making eye contact with you and he continued to ask, “Are you?”
“Is that why you look like you’re in pain?” Belphie asked. “Wait, do periods hurt?” Beel questioned in response.
“Do all female normies go through that?” Levi questioned, his cheeks threatening to burn as bright as yours at the question.
Your cramps weren’t backing down and you were feeling more than overwhelmed at the sudden bombardment and soon everything felt like it was too much.
“I think I’ll skip dinner tonight,” you stated plainly before abruptly getting up from the table and making your way to the bedroom.
The brothers watched you leave, confused and worried about you. Was it something they said? Or was it because you weren’t feeling well?
Lucifer was in a state of surprise when you left the dining room table.
He knew about periods, and he knew it was something female humans experienced.
But, it wasn’t something he had prepared for.
In all of the things that he had done and gathered to ensure you would have everything you need for your stay in the Devildom, that had somehow slipped his mind.
It took him a moment to gather his bearings before going to check on you.
He showed up to your room with a glass of water and medicine to help with your cramps.
He gave you a small smile when you gratefully took the medicine and allowed him in your room.
He looked a little lost, unsure of how exactly to help you. But, if you tell him what you need, he will move heaven and earth to make sure you get it.
You were his responsibility after all. He couldn’t disappoint Diavolo by allowing you to be in pain. And he couldn’t trust his brothers to do a good enough job.
Or maybe - just maybe - he wanted to be the one who took care of you.
Either way, he won’t leave your side for the rest of the night, and if you show any sign of discomfort, he’ll find a way to soothe you.
Mammon was still freaking out about all of the information he had obtained that night.
Periods sounded awful and he couldn’t believe that it was something that happened to female humans - every month.
Mammon was trying to process everything when you left the table and that’s when his mind went from his own train of thought to you.
From all of the facts he was told, one stood out more than the others - you were in pain.
And Mammon was supposed to protect you, so he couldn’t have that.
He excused himself from the dinner table as well before quickly doing a search on his D.D.D. to find out ways to help you.
About a half an hour later, Mammon showed up at your bedroom door, his arms full of miscellaneous objects.
He had everything he could think of - a heating pad, pain medicine, chocolate, and your favorite snacks.
He wasn’t sure what out of those items would help, but he hoped at least one of them would.
He also offered to stay in your room that night and watch a movie with you, which inevitably ended in you falling asleep in his arms, while he held you close.
Mammon is just happy that you felt safe enough with him to let him help you when you’re in this vulnerable stage.
It is a known fact that Levi panics in intense situations.
And you abruptly leaving the dinner table was something he would classify as an intense situation.
He didn't necessarily understand all of the intricacies of your period, but he did know that he wanted to help.
Levi didn't have any idea where to start, so he went to his default of bringing videogames and DVDs to your room.
You bit back a chuckle as you opened the door and saw Levi struggling to hold everything he brought.
You let him inside, grateful of the fact that he was trying and Levi quickly got to work setting up yours and his favorite game.
The fun that you were having with Levi was enough to distract you from the pain of your period cramps.
But that didn't stop him from checking in - quite often - and asking if you were alright.
Levi offered to get you food, something to drink, medicine - anything you would need.
And if you did ask him for something, he moved faster than you'd ever seen to get it back to you promptly.
He may not be an expert in what was going on with you, but he would do just as good of a job as any of the others when it came to comforting you.
As stated, Satan was an expert on everything to do with your period before you even got it.
He didn't need to search anything up or refer to his books.
He figured this would happen sooner rather than later and he was prepared for it.
Like Mammon, Satan gets everything you need. But, unlike Mammon, it’s all already prepared in an emergency kit that he’s kept in his room.
Satan grabbed the bag and went to your room in a matter of moments.
When you opened the door, Satan offered you a brief apology about the events that occurred at dinner. He felt guilty about putting you on the spot like that.
But, he offered to make it up to you by helping relieve your pain.
When you allowed him in, Satan was as strict as a doctor, almost in an overbearing way.
He gave you the medicine to take and instructed you to lay in a way that allowed for the ideal positioning of the heating pad.
And even if it wasn’t the way you wanted to lay, when the heating pad started working, you were thankful for Satan’s expertise.
He stayed with you for the rest of the night, sitting next to you and gently running his fingers through your hair as he read one of your favorite books to you.
It ends up being much more comforting than you would have expected from the Avatar of Wrath.
Asmo may not be like Satan or Lucifer in knowing all about a human period.
But he has had his fair share of experience with it.
And he’s a pro at rest and relaxation.
Asmo let you calm down in your room for a little bit while he set things up in own room.
He was sure you were upset at all of them for bombarding you at dinner like that.
But, he was hoping that you would let him help you anyway.
When he was ready, he asked you to join him in his room, and after promising he wouldn’t try anything risque, you agreed to go.
When you got to his room, you were met with an overwhelming aroma of essential oils and the sound of soft music playing.
The lights were dimmed so that the room was bright enough to see, but dark enough to relax.
Under normal circumstances, you would have assumed that Asmo was trying to come on to you, but he had promised he just wanted to help.
He led you to his bed and asked for permission to give you a massage.
Being the Avatar of Lust, Asmo’s knows the human body very well, and he knew every technique and every spot that needed to relax, and you felt all of your tension release and your cramps subside.
Asmo had a small smile on his face as you slowly drifted off after feeling relaxed enough.
He would always be there to help pamper you whenever you needed it.
Beel was a bit confused when you left the table.
He didn’t really understand the gravity of the situation.
And so, playing to his kind and innocent nature, Beel thought something was wrong with the dinner.
He quietly finished the food on his plate before disappearing from the House of Lamentation.
When he came back, he went directly to your room with bags full of all of your favorite food. No one should skip dinner.
You had to keep yourself from laughing as Beel explained why he brought all of your favorite food and you invited him in to share the food with you.
Beel noticed the pained expression you flashed every so often and when you told him about your period cramps and how that was the reason you left dinner early, Beel wanted to do everything he could to help.
He immediately engulfed you into his arms, holding you tightly into him as his hands rubbed soothing circles onto your back.
You felt your pain slowly going away as Beel’s body warmth underneath you acted as a heating pad and his hands relieved any tension you were holding.
He might not know exactly how to help you, but he’s just as effective in soothing your cramps nonetheless.
Belphie's help almost always came with a witty remark or some teasing no matter who you were or what the situation was.
But, for this particular situation, Belphie tried to be on his best behavior.
From what he heard, this was a hard time for you and he was certain the wrong remark would set you off.
So, he played especially nice.
He came to your room and asked you if there was anything he could do to help.
When you let him in, he asked a few questions about your period and got you a few things.
But, if that doesn't help, Belphie will escalate things.
When most people think of the Avatar of Sloth, they only think about him sleeping a lot.
They don't often recognize the power he had over other people's sleep.
And if you continue to be in pain throughout the night, Belphie will reach a point where he believes sleep is the only way to help you.
And it will be the best sleep of your life, full of amazing dreams to keep any pain of your cramps far away from you.
Naturally, Belphie will spend the night in your room, cuddling you.
But it's just to make sure you get a restful sleep the whole night!
Summary: Fighting a demon who spoke poorly about your love interest and winning.
You weren’t normally an angry person. You tried to be very calm and kind. You were the one who talked others off the ledge, not the one who needed to be talked down. In all of your time in the Devildom, you were sure none of the brothers had a chance to see you get really angry.
But finals were coming up at RAD and you were under a tremendous amount of stress. You had been pouring every ounce of your energy into studying. You had been staying up late and skipping meals which you admitted had started to make you a bit cranky.
Today you had just found out that your teacher was adding an additional part to the final. A part that you hadn’t been studying for at all because you were under the pretense that you wouldn’t need to.
So, now your stress levels were incredibly high and on top of that you had dropped your lunch in the cafeteria so you were hangry. You were on the verge of having a complete mental breakdown and for some reason a popular demon had decided it would be fun to mess with you today.
They came up to you and began saying rude and nasty things about the demon brothers, particularly one of them. Normally, you would stomach the rude comments and move on, making sure to give the demon brothers extra love that night to make up for the terrible things that were said about them.
But as previously stated, you were having a bad day, and the demon just crossed a line. Wrath overtook you with every word they spoke until you completely snapped. You threw one good punch to the demon's jaw and a collective gasp broke out from the students that surrounded you.
Before you knew it, the demon began fighting back, using every advantage they had over you. But, you were so angry you didn’t care. How dare they talk about your demon like that? Who did they think they were?
You fought with everything you had until you felt someone pulling you off the student. You turned to face them and your heart skipped a beat when you saw that it was Diavolo. He didn’t necessarily look angry, but he didn’t look very pleased either.
You turned your attention to the demon you had been fighting only to see they were also being restrained by Barbatos. Barbatos led them away and you turned to look at Diavolo. You knew you probably shouldn’t have snapped and started a fight, but if he heard what that demon was saying, he would understand!
You gave him a small smile before asking, “We don’t have to tell Lucifer about this, right?” Diavolo let out a small sigh. He wished that was true, for your sake. But, unfortunately, if Diavolo didn’t tell him and Lucifer managed to find out on his own, that would be a much worse situation.
So, here you were sitting in the infirmary at RAD. Your small wounds were being treated and you could hear muffled voices on the other side of the door. It was undoubtedly Diavolo telling your seven roommates what had happened.
You winced when you heard the door to the infirmary open and you held your breath as you waited to see which one was coming in to talk to you.
You did what?!
Lucifer was absolutely livid. Not only did you put yourself in danger, but you had embarrassed Diavolo. What could have possibly driven you to such insanity?
He needed to know because the whole situation was absolutely preposterous to him.
He entered the infirmary first, surprised to see how good you looked comparatively. He had passed the other demon as they were taken to a separate room and they looked a lot worse than you did.
He silently admitted he was surprised by your capabilities, especially considering the difference in strength and the fact that you had no magic or weapon.
But, this was no time to compliment you.
You knew better than to speak when Lucifer was wearing his angry face so you remained silent as he approached the bed you were sitting on.
“What were you thinking?” Lucifer asked, his gaze falling to your hands where he noticed how bloody your knuckles looked.
“In my defense, this is technically all because of you,” you stated. Lucifer now looked shocked and furious. Were you really trying to place the blame on him? He hadn’t even been there!
Before he could respond angrily, you continued to say, “They were talking bad about you.”
That caught Lucifer off-guard. Were you telling him that the reason you fought the demon was because they were talking poorly about him? Did you realize he was the most powerful demon of his brothers and perfectly capable of fighting if need be?
Still, Lucifer couldn’t help the pride that began to swell in his heart. You fought on his behalf and won. He found it adorable that you went to such lengths to defend him. But, he couldn’t very well thank you in front of everyone.
So, he went with a neutral response. One that he hoped conveyed his true feelings behind the whole situation without betraying his image of power.
“No more fighting.”
Did Diavolo just say you picked a fight with a demon?
Mammon was beyond surprised at the news. You were just a fragile little human. What were you doing trying to fight demons?
The other demon passed by the group and Mammon’s heart dropped. They looked horribly beat up and if that’s what they looked like, he could only imagine what you looked like.
He couldn’t wait any longer. He needed to make sure you were okay. So, he quickly swung the door to the infirmary open, pausing when he saw you.
You looked mostly fine. A couple of cuts and bruises and some bloody knuckles, but that was it. You practically destroyed the demon and came out looking like you took a small fall. Mammon made a mental note to never make you angry.
The doctor demon moved to wrap your hand and was a bit rough with it. You winced slightly and Mammon stepped in.
“You’re doing it wrong,” Mammon stated as he shooed the doctor away, taking over. He gently grabbed your hand and your eyes met his. “I know ya’ got guts, but isn’t this a little much?” Mammon asked, carefully wrapping your hand.
“They were saying some terrible things about you,” you replied, keeping your eyes on your injured hand. Mammon faltered for a moment at your words. No one had ever cared about him enough to fight for him. “Ya’ fought them because they were talkin’ trash about me?” Mammon asked.
“Well, wouldn’t you fight someone if they weren’t talking bad about me?” you questioned. Fair point. “Yeah, but I’m a demon,” he countered.
Mammon finished wrapping your hand and told you, “Lucifer’s gonna give ya’ a long lecture for this.” Great. Just what you needed.
“But afterwards, do ya’ wanna come over and watch a movie?” Mammon questioned. He wanted to help make you feel better, especially after finding out you were fighting for him. You were his precious human and he wanted to make you feel that way.
Your eyes lit up at the idea and you immediately agreed. This is why you fought that demon - to stand up for the one that always made you feel better.
Levi didn’t typically go to RAD in person. He preferred to take all of his classes from the comfort of his room. But, he had made a special exception today and he was very glad he did.
He heard that something went down between you and another student, but it wasn’t until he was standing in the hallway with his brothers that he found out you had gotten in a fight.
As if on cue, the other demon walked past him and he took note of all of the damage. You did that much to a demon?!
Part of him wanted to make sure you were okay; but, also, Levi had to know how you pulled off such an amazing attack.
He entered the infirmary, a mix of excitement and fear built up inside of him. But, when he saw that you were mostly fine give or take a few bruises and cuts, nothing was left but his excitement.
Out of politeness, Levi still asked, “Are you okay?” But after you reassured him, he moved onto his more pertinent questions.
“How did you manage to beat that demon up so badly?” he asked. You shrugged your shoulders before replying, “I was just so mad that I couldn’t stop punching.”
“What did they do to make you so mad?” Levi asked. He genuinely wanted to know what happened to turn you into a badass rage monster.
You gave Levi a small smile before telling him, “They decided to say awful things about you, spreading rumors left and right. I couldn’t stand it.”
Levi let out a startled noise before blushing furiously. You fought someone to defend him? Your coolness level just went up by a million points for him.
Did that mean you liked him enough to think he was worth protecting?!
Levi will pull the security footage of the fight and make it an online sensation. No one would ever pick a fight with you again thanks to him.
Satan knew something bad happened involving you the moment you started fighting. He could feel his sin radiating around him. It took him a moment to figure out it was coming from his pact symbol, but as soon as he did, he was on a mission to find you.
You were seriously angry right now. He could feel it. And he was a bit worried about what it would lead to.
But he was too far to reach you before the fight ended and was left standing in the hall with his brothers while Diavolo explained what happened.
Even though he felt your rage, he was still surprised when he found out you got in a fight; and, even more so when he saw the damage you did.
When Satan entered the infirmary and saw you he couldn’t help but smirk a bit. The demon didn’t stand a chance against you.
You didn’t notice him at first, focused on your knuckles that the doctor was tending to. So, Satan walked up to the bed. He noticed that your eyebrows were still furrowed from residual anger and to Satan it made you look feisty like a kitten. And where others would have been deterred by it, the look drew Satan in.
“You’ve got a lot of anger in you,” Satan teased. “You’re one to talk,” you retorted and Satan let out a small chuckle.
“What made you so mad?” he questioned. You let out a small sigh before replying, “They decided to say some rude things about you.”
Satan’s eyes widened slightly. That’s all it was? Some demon said some rude things about him and it sent you into that much of a rage? Were you that protective of him?
Satan couldn’t help but smile at you. You protected him in your own way and he would make sure to protect you from whatever punishment Lucifer decided to come up with.
But, he made you promise not to start another fight with a demon. Next time, you might not be so lucky and he didn’t want you putting yourself in danger.
You got in a fight? Were you hurt?
Asmo was freaking out right now. What if you bruised your delicate skin? Or worse, cut it?!
His panicking was only worsened when he saw the demon walk by. He nearly fainted at the thought of you looking even half as bad.
He quickly rushed into the infirmary and relaxed a tiny bit when he realized your condition wasn’t even close to being as bad as the other demon’s.
But, your knuckles were bloody and you did have some bruises and cuts so he still wasn’t very happy.
“Y/N! Your poor knuckles! And skin! Why did you fight that demon?” Asmo asked frantically, his eyes filled with worry as he scanned over all of your features, surveying the damage.
“I was just trying to stand up for you,” you replied. “Me?!” Asmo asked, even more confused now.
“They were saying some really rude things about you,” you replied honestly. Asmo’s heart swelled at your reasoning. You risked your own body to defend him.
“You’re soo cute,” Asmo stated pulling you into a hug and placing a few kisses on your cheek. He then moved and began placing kisses on each bruise and cut you received, spending extra time on your knuckles.
“As soon as we get a chance, I’m treating you to a spa day. We’ll get the best of everything and get you back to your perfect state in no time. There won’t be a blemish on you,” Amso told you, hugging you once more.
He’ll use his connections to spread terrible rumors about the demon who said those things about Asmo to ensure that they never start another fight with you.
He couldn’t handle the stress of seeing you bloody or bruised again.
Beel was the one who got in fights the most when it came to protecting his family. He was no stranger to it and was unphased by it. But what he didn’t expect was for Diavolo to tell him you got involved in a fight.
You must have had a good reason. You were normally so slow to anger. So whatever the demon said or did must have set you off.
He had seen the demon walk by the group and he couldn’t help but let out a small gasp. When Diavolo said you had gotten into a fight, he didn’t expect that it was to this extent. The demon could hardly walk on their own!
Beel entered the infirmary and walked straight up to the bed, grateful that you only had a few minor cuts and bruises.
He carefully took your hand in his when he reached the bed and inspected the damage on your knuckles. He frowned a little before asking, “Does it hurt?”
“A little,” you replied. Beel nodded his head before questioning, “What did they do to make you so mad at them?”
“I didn’t like the things they were saying,” you replied. “Was it about food? I hate it when people talk negatively about food,” Beel stated.
You let out a small laugh before replying, “No, it wasn’t about food. It was about you, Beel.”
Beel’s eyebrows furrowed a bit as he turned his head to the side, trying to understand. What could that demon have said about him that was so bad it made you start a fight?
“I just didn’t like hearing them say bad things about you when you’re so kind,” you added.
Beel immediately engulfed you in a hug. The demon had merely spoken a few unkind words about Beel and it managed to send you into a rage all to protect him.
But you were only a human and fighting demons was dangerous. “Next time, you tell me and I’ll fight them for the both of us,” Beel told you.
You nodded your head and Beel pulled out of the hug to ask, “Do you want to go eat? I bet you worked up an appetite.”
You appreciated the way Beel always made sure you were fed and taken care of.
Wait, were they talking about the same Y/N?
Part of Belphie wanted to bust out laughing at Lucifer and Diavolo’s faces. Surely they never thought you would be capable of starting a fight with a demon when this exchange program started.
However, when the other demon walked by, Belphie became concerned. They looked like they had just fought a war. Belphie’s main focus was now on making sure you were okay.
He quickly entered the room and let out a small breath of relief when he saw that you were okay. But, relief soon turned into confusion as he approached the bed. How did you come out with hardly anything more than some bloody knuckles?
“And I thought Satan was the hothead,” Belphie teased, giving you a small smile. You frowned at him in response before replying, “I had a bad day.”
Belphie let out a small snort at your words. “I don’t think having a bad day is a good enough reason to beat someone to a pulp,” Belphie replied.
You stayed silent, not wanting to give him your reason. “Come on, what’d they do?” Belphie asked curiously.
“They talked bad about you,” you replied, avoiding his gaze. Belphie was surprised, to say the least. You did all this because that demon decided to smack talk? And about him nonetheless.
“My hero,” Belphie joked, and you rolled your eyes. In reality, Belphie was flattered that you cared enough about him to defend him. And he was glad that you didn’t get injured in the fight.
“Well, once Lucifer is done with the ten-hour lecture, I guess I have no choice but to take care of you. Since you fought for me and all,” Belphie stated and you only further pouted at him. His sarcastic nature was getting on your last nerve right now.
Belphie could see his quips weren’t amusing you, so he put his hands up in mock defeat before pulling you into a hug.
“Thank you,” he finally said as you rested your head against his chest. “You’re welcome,” you replied and Belphie couldn’t help but smile.
As soon as Lucifer was done with his scolding, he would make sure to give you lots of cuddles.
Summary: The brothers (individually) react to MC who faints.
Word Count: 4,146
This time of year had been the most stressful for you.
The brothers were always fighting for your attention, so you rarely had time for yourself.
You felt like the second you got home from RAD you were being pulled left and right by one brother or another.
And while you appreciated that they wanted to hang out with you, exams were coming up and as an exchange student, there was an immense amount of pressure on you to do good.
And since you were under that pressure, you had to find time to make sure you were studying.
Which unfortunately meant cutting into your sleep schedule.
You were overworked and exhausted and the only thing that was keeping you upright was the anxiety of knowing that the exams were in the next few days.
Lucifer was a very overworked person himself. So, he had a hard time noticing when someone was struggling to keep up with their workload.
It’s not that he couldn’t pick up on the signs of your exhaustion, it’s just between student council business and keeping his brothers out of trouble, he didn’t really have time to look for those signs.
So, when you fainted in the middle of a student council meeting, he was more surprised than anything.
You had been standing there, looking just as you usually did with no noticeable signs of distress.
And then the next second you were on the ground with his brothers surrounding you.
After the initial shock, Lucifer began thinking of reasons as to why you may have fainted and that’s when all of the little signals suddenly became clear to him.
It’s as if they were bright neon signs that stated you were overtired and ready to collapse.
And Lucifer suddenly became very protective of you, telling his brothers to give you space before whisking you away to the House of Lamentation where he could properly take care of you.
Lucifer held your hand the entire time you were asleep, gently touching his other hand to your forehead occasionally to make sure you weren’t running a fever or anything like that.
When you finally woke up, Lucifer gave you a small smile, apologizing to you for not noticing the signs of your suffering earlier.
“It’s not your fault, Lucifer,” you reassured him before adding, “I just need to do a better job of managing my time.”
Lucifer planned on helping with that.
He already planned to have a long talk with his brothers about respecting your time so that you didn’t have to sacrifice your own health just to keep up with your grades.
On top of that, Lucifer invited you to his room after school much more often.
He claimed that it was to help make sure you were staying relaxed, but in reality, he needed a break just as much as you did.
And you were the only thing that helped him relax.
Demons didn’t get sick the same way that humans did.
That was one thing you had come to learn during your time in the Devildom.
They didn’t have a flu season and they didn’t get shots to stave off illness.
So when you started feeling sick, you didn’t think to mention it to the brothers.
After all, you were sure it would only end in a very long conversation consisting of you trying to explain your sickness while they bombarded you with a hundred questions.
You did your best to hide how awful you were really feeling, wearing a smile and doing your best to not look shaky or pale.
And it seemed to work because the brothers were as persistent as ever about spending time with you - especially Mammon.
And you loved spending time with Mammon. You thought it was adorable how he always fought for your attention.
But, today, you were hoping that he would get tired of going out and doing things and let you return to the House of Lamentation.
You would be fine even if he wanted to watch a movie with you at home. Then, if you fell asleep, you could just say you were really tired. It’s not like Mammon would be mad at you for very long anyway.
But, of course, when you were feeling very under the weather,+
Mammon decided he had a full day planned for the two of you.
From shopping to watching him do a photo shoot to trying out new restaurants - Mammon just wanted to spend the whole day together.
You did your best to keep up - to act like nothing was wrong.
But at the end of the day your ailment caught up to you and as you were standing next to Mammon at the casino, you felt incredibly lightheaded.
“I think I’m going to go sit down for a moment,” you told Mammon and he gave you a small frown.
“But, I’m about to win the jackpot!” Mammon argued and you once again smiled at him, agreeing to stay.
Moments later, Mammon did win the jackpot. He let out a victorious laugh and turned to celebrate with you only to find you collapsing into his arms.
His celebration was cut short as he was now freaking out trying to get you to wake up and gently brushing your hair out of your face as tears threatened to form in his eyes.
He rushed you back to the House of Lamentation and after Lucifer and Satan looked over you, they determined you had just fainted from being sick.
They gave Mammon some medicine to give to you when you woke up and then left.
Mammon stayed by your side the entire time and he felt a huge weight lift off his shoulders when you finally opened your eyes.
His lips were turned down into a frown as he asked, “Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?”
“I didn’t want to ruin our day together,” you replied and it only made Mammon more sad as he pulled you into a hug.
“I thought you died,” he admitted, his arms tightening around you, and you could see how affected he was by seeing you faint.
“I’m sorry, but I’m okay. It’s just a cold,” you told him and although he was satisfied with your answer, he wasn’t letting you go from his arms.
He needed to hold you there for a little while longer, just as some extra reassurance that you were okay.
Levi was absolutely determined to finish the new game that he had bought.
It was a two-player game that he specifically purchased because he thought you would enjoy playing it with him.
Which meant that you were being dragged along for the ride whether you wanted to or not.
Levi wanted to finish the game as quickly as possible so that he could be the first person to review it and in order to do so, he had you pull two all-nighters back to back.
You were exhausted and ready to call it quits, but Levi was very convincing when he wanted to be.
He knew all of the right bribes to offer you to keep you awake and playing.
On top of that, you were genuinely happy to be spending time with Levi.
But as the alarm clock rang after the second all-nighter that happiness you were feeling was overtaken by your exhaustion.
You let out a groan as you sat down your controller, looking at the clock in Levi’s room as if it betrayed you by signaling it was time to get ready for school.
You and Levi still hadn’t finished the game and you couldn’t help but stare off into space with dread as you realized that meant that you would be in Levi’s room again after school today trying to finish it.
And no amount of caffeine would help you survive a third all-nighter in a row.
You didn’t say anything to Levi as you left his bedroom to get ready for school. In fact, you didn’t say anything to any of the brothers all day.
You weren’t trying to be rude, you were just too tired to care.
It wasn’t until you fainted at lunch that they realized something was genuinely wrong.
They all clamored over to you as you went down in the middle of the room, the other students whispering and asking what happened.
The scene caused quite the commotion which led to Diavolo finding out quickly.
As you rested in the infirmary, Diavolo questioned the brothers about what could have caused you to collapse.
Lucifer turned to Levi, claiming that he had been spending the most time with you lately.
Diavolo asked Levi if he noticed you feeling unwell and Levi innocently told him you looked like you were fine during your two all-nighters together.
“Wait - did you say that they hadn’t slept in two straight days?” Diavolo questioned and all of the brothers looked at Levi incredulously.
Levi’s words suddenly registered in his own mind as he realized that he was the reason you fainted.
He immediately started panicking as his mind tried to come up with ways to make it up to you.
And as if his guilt wasn’t punishment enough, he had to endure a multiple-hour-long lecture from Lucifer about the importance of sleep for humans.
Levi was afraid to face you the next time you saw him. He was afraid that you would hate him for forcing you to stay awake with him.
You reassured him that you had fun playing the game with him.
“Next time, maybe just let me get a couple hours of sleep in,” you teased and a blush rushed to his cheeks as he nodded his head.
Levi was really happy that you still wanted to play games with him despite what happened and he made a promise to himself to prioritize your health over the game from now on.
Between his brothers and the busy life of being a member of the student council, you and Satan didn’t get a whole lot of free time to spend together.
So, when the opportunity did present itself where Satan was able to steal you away, the two of you liked to take advantage of it.
There was an outdoor festival happening up in the human world and Satan wanted to take you to it.
He knew that it had been a while since you visited and the festival had an overall theme that he knew you would both enjoy.
You were ecstatic when he asked you to go with him and the two of you left almost immediately after.
The festival was absolutely gorgeous and it was full of things that you and Satan could do together.
You shared the cuisines, you bought souvenirs, and you even participated in some of the side activities they offered.
And while you were enjoying your time with Satan, there was one problem - the heat.
The Devildom had no sun to shine brightly or warm the weather so you had grown accustomed to the weather there.
But in the human world, the sun was at large, beating down on you.
You hadn’t prepared for it to be so hot and were starting to feel light-headed.
Satan was usually so attentive and would recognize something was off the second that you started to not feel good.
But, he was so distracted by everything else going on that he didn’t notice.
He was like a kid in the candy shop, holding your hand as he dragged you from stall to stall.
He was talking to a vendor about a necklace they had when you felt like your head was starting to spin.
Satan turned to ask your opinion on the piece of jewelry with full intentions of buying it for you.
But, when he faced you, he saw how flushed your complexion was.
He barely had time to react before you were collapsing.
The necklace was long forgotten as Satan easily caught you in his arms.
He immediately went into doctor mode, doing his best to recall everything he had learned about humans.
His mind was racing with possible reasons as to why you could have fainted. The possibilities seemed endless.
Until he placed his hand on your forehead and noticed that you felt hot to the touch.
And it was like everything had clicked into place as he was suddenly rushing you back to the House of Lamentation.
He laid you in his bed because he figured it would be easier to take care of you there since the other brothers wouldn’t barge in.
When you woke up, it took you a moment to figure out where you were and what happened but a deep blush coated your cheeks as you began to comprehend the situation.
“I’m sorry I ruined our date,” you stated, refusing to look at Satan.
He immediately leaned forward and cupped your cheeks before tilting your head up to look into his eyes.
“You didn’t ruin our date. I still had a great time - did you?” Satan questioned and you nodded your head.
He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before telling you, “I’m just glad you’re alright.”
You leaned into his touch and he pulled you into his arms, attempting to calm his heart rate that had been racing since your first collapsed.
As calm and composed as he remained, Satan had been so scared when you fainted and now he was going to keep you in his arms for however long it took to convince himself that you were okay.
You were heading home after school when Asmo suddenly approached you.
He had such a happy smile on his face when he saw you and you could hear the excitement in his voice.
Asmo had been invited to a special event that night and he asked if you would be his plus one.
You could see the jealous looks you were getting from miscellaneous other people as Asmo stood before you with a hopeful look.
When you agreed to go, Asmo let out a happy noise of excitement before taking your hand and leading you into town.
The two of you needed to start getting ready right away!
He wanted the two of you to have matching outfits so he took you to Majolish to get new ones.
The two of you spent a while there trying on different outfits, attempting to find matching ones that fit both your and Asmo’s styles.
And you had finally found an outfit that had a mix of both.
There was just one problem - it had a corset. And in true corset fashion, it was quite restricting.
Asmo was dying over the way you looked in that outfit, giving you compliment after compliment and looking so happy while doing it.
You didn’t tell him about the corset being too tight, instead agreeing to buy it.
The event would only be for a little while, so you figured it would be fine. All you had to do was last until the end of the event.
And you had managed to do just that, albeit with a bit of a struggle.
You felt like the corset was somehow getting tighter and tighter as the night went on and you were starting to feel short of breath and hot.
Asmo could see that you weren’t feeling one hundred percent, so he suggested that the two of you head back to the House of Lamentation.
Though, he didn’t understand why you weren’t feeling well. Did you have something to drink when he wasn’t looking?
The two of you barely made it to the House of Lamentation when everything went black and you fell to the ground.
Asmo panicked immediately, shouting for Lucifer to come outside and help you as his hands shakily held your head, not knowing what to do.
When Lucifer inspected the scene in front of him, he noticed the corset and demanded Asmo take it off.
Lucifer was so sure that the article of clothing was the cause of your fainting so Asmo quickly rushed you to your bedroom and took the corset off you, staring intensely at your face as he waited for something to happen.
You woke up shortly after and Asmo let out a loud sigh of relief as he pulled you into his arms, blinking past the tears that had formed in his eyes.
He stroked your hair as you took deep breaths, the feeling of your lungs expanding fully was something that felt strangely nice.
“If the outfit was too tight, we could have gotten you something else,” Asmo told you softly.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to look good for your event,” you replied and Asmo pulled away from the hug to cup your cheeks and look you in the eyes.
“You look perfect in everything. You didn’t have to suffer all night - I wanted you to have a good time,” Asmo replied.
“I did have a good time, Asmo,” you reassured him and he pulled you back into his arms.
“Just don’t ever do that again,” he said quietly as he tried to push the image of you fainting out of his mind.
You were running late to breakfast and the brothers had noticed that his had been a recurring thing with you lately.
The day before, you were late for breakfast because you overslept after staying up all night studying.
And then you were also late to dinner later that day after Solomon unexpectedly asked for your help with something.
And today you had sent them all a message letting them know you would be late to breakfast due to a shower mishap.
Asmo attempted to ask you to explain in further detail, but the others didn’t press the subject.
They knew that you would be a little late, but it was only a few minutes until everyone had to leave to make it to RAD on time.
Beel had been staring at your plate of food the entire time, doing his best to restrain himself.
He knew that after missing both breakfast and dinner yesterday you would be hungry. But, if you weren’t going to eat it, he wasn’t going to let it go to waste.
After waiting a couple more minutes, Lucifer let out a small sigh before allowing Beel to eat your food.
Just then, you came bounding into the dining room with a look of shock on your face as you watched Beel gobble up your food in one bite.
“Hey, that was mine,” you said with a small pout and Beel looked like a deer in headlights as he sat your plate down.
“You were late,” Lucifer retorted before adding, “Time to go.”
You had a small frown the entire way to RAD and Beel felt guilty every time he heard your stomach rumble.
He was determined to make it up to you by getting you extra food at lunch.
But your hunger was starting to really get to you and by the second class you were starting to feel lightheaded.
You tried not to act any differently but you could feel Beel’s eyes on you during the class and it was only adding to the myriad of things you were feeling right now.
You felt overwhelmed by everything and as soon as the bell rang signally class was over, you stood up - only to fall right back down.
Beel managed to get to you just in time to catch you, but he started panicking when he saw that you were unconscious.
He immediately lifted you off the ground and carried you to the school infirmary.
The guilt he was feeling now was eating him alive. He knew that you had fainted because you were hungry.
If only he had a little more self-control and didn’t eat your food then maybe you wouldn’t have fainted.
When you woke up, you were immediately met with Beel’s concerned eyes.
“How are you feeling?” Beel asked you and you sat up slightly as you realized what had happened.
“I’m fine,” you replied, though he suspected that wasn’t one hundred percent true.
You looked around the room and noticed Beel had bought a ton of snacks and drinks and laid them out on the bed next to you.
As soon as he deemed you were okay enough, he handed you snack after snack and apologized profusely for eating your food.
He would make sure you never fainted from hunger again.
You and Belphie shared such romantic moments sometimes.
Other times, he acted like such a brat.
It seemed like one of Belphie’s favorite things to do was to mess with you. Especially when he was feeling particularly testy.
Lucifer woke him up from his nap? I guess that means you wanted to pick a fight with him too so now he’s relentlessly trying to wrestle and tickle you.
Beel decided to eat his food that morning? Well, then you don’t get to eat either. But, you don’t mind, right?
And you would always retaliate which would end up leading to a war between you.
And both of you refused to back down.
In fact, sometimes it got to the point where the other brothers avoided the two of you, afraid of being collateral damage.
You wanted something to drink in the middle of the night, so you made your way to the kitchen and grabbed your favorite from the fridge.
You poured yourself a cup and sipped it quietly, immediately regretting it as you did so.
The taste was awful and you could hear Belphie’s snickering somewhere nearby.
You swallowed the drink and glared at the entrance to the kitchen as Belphie entered, holding his sides from laughing.
Why was he only awake at the most inconvenient times?
You decided to make Belphie pay for his actions.
“Belphie - did you put something in this?” you asked him, holding a hand to your stomach as if you were about to be sick.
“You should see your face right now,” he replied, continuing to laugh.
You placed one hand on your head and started fanning yourself with your other hand.
“Okay, but you made sure it was safe for humans, right?” you asked him and Belphie paused. You were just pulling his leg, right?
You took a few strained breaths before asking him, “Is it really hot in here?”
Belphie’s expression had turned from one of amusement to one of slight panic as he watched you, trying to figure out if you were lying or not.
He was positive what he put in your drink wouldn’t harm you, but he didn’t exactly look it up to check.
Belphie’s eyes were wide and he felt like he couldn’t breathe as you collapsed to the ground.
He was panicking as flashbacks of what once happened between the two of you overwhelmed his mind.
Did he just kill you? Again?
He felt like he was starting to have a panic attack as Beel suddenly entered the kitchen.
“Belphie?” he questioned, not expecting his twin to be there. He was just trying to get his midnight snack.
“Beel - I think I…,” Belphie stated, frozen in shock.
Beel’s eyes widened as he saw your body on the ground and he immediately rushed over to you, placing his fingers on your neck to check for a pulse just like Satan had taught him.
When you could feel Beel’s shaky hands, you knew the prank might have gone a little too far and you gently grabbed his wrist and opened your eyes.
Beel and Belphie looked at you confused for a moment and then Belphie realized what happened.
He gave you the biggest death glare and you noticed the tears that had started to form in his eyes.
“Belphie-,” you began but he stormed off to sulk in the attic. You followed him, only to find the door shut.
“Belphie, come on let me in,” you told him. You could see him lying on the bed, turned away from you.
“I opened this door once before, I’ll do it again if I really have to,” you added.
Belphie let out a sigh of frustration before getting up and opening the door.
You immediately pulled him into a hug as he did, wrapping your arms around his torso and his arms timidly wrapped around you as well.
“I’m sorry,” you told him, genuinely feeling bad for taking things so far.
“Don’t ever do that again,” he stated, hugging you tighter before pulling you over to the bed with him.
Your punishment was to spend the night with him so that you were there whenever he needed some extra reassurance that you were okay.
Despite his pranks and brattiness, Belphie really loved you and he couldn’t imagine what he would do without you.

Lucifer was someone who always had an appearance to uphold in front of the other denizens of the Devildom.
His status was something that you admired about him. Lucifer did a good job of helping Diavolo run things in the Devildom and you couldn’t imagine a demon who was more perfectly suited for the job.
But, you had to admit that the facade he put up in front of others could be annoying at times.
You knew that it was part of his sin - he always had to put his best foot forward and present himself in the most perfect way possible.
But, you wished others got to see the real side of Lucifer. The side of him that he mainly reserved for your eyes alone.
You didn’t mind that Lucifer only dropped his guard around you, but it would be nice to be able to have some intimate moments in public without Lucifer worrying about the opinions of others.
And this infatuation that was caused by his pride was also the very thing that caused the two of you to get into an argument.
You were at RAD in the middle of the class that Lucifer was teaching when he mentioned a cave nearby in the Devildom that had some of the most unique magical items in the entire realm.
You were just trying to be proactive in the class so you expressed your interest in wanting to see the cave for yourself.
But, your excited smile faltered when you heard a few of your classmates snicker at your statement before telling you that you wouldn’t stand a chance at surviving because you were just a weak human.
You were offended by their words. After all, you might be a human, but you were far from weak. You managed to get the seven demon brothers to agree to pacts with you and your magic was far more powerful than those students could even imagine.
You could see the glare in Lucifer’s eyes towards the students and you were grateful that he was there. At least you knew one person had your back.
Seeing you mistreated was something that Lucifer would never tolerate, so the glare that he was sending them, while much more dangerous looking, was a mere warning to tell them to stop talking.
The students seemed to notice the way that Lucifer was looking at them so they quickly stopped laughing, but then one of the students turned the cards against Lucifer.
They asked for his honest opinion on if he thought that you - a human - could make it through the cave.
And now Lucifer was in a tough spot, because he wanted to defend you with his life, but the cave was not something that should be taken lightly.
He truly believed that a human wouldn’t survive the cave and if he said that he believed you could - then his credibility would be tainted and his pride couldn’t have that.
You waited patiently for Lucifer to defend you and you couldn’t help but feel a small pang of betrayal as Lucifer agreed with the students.
All he had to do was tell them that he believed in you - that you could do it if you put your mind to it. Why couldn’t he do that?
The students once again snickered and Lucifer avoided making eye contact with you for the rest of the class, knowing that he was going to pay for that mistake later.
You left the class as soon as the bell rang and Lucifer didn’t blame you. He knew that you were mad at him and that you wouldn’t want him escorting you back to the House of Lamentation today.
But, you weren’t going back to the House of Lamentation yet.
Ever since you got to the Devildom, people have been doubting your abilities. They had been treating you like a child who couldn’t do anything on their own and you were tired of it.
For once, you just wanted to prove them wrong - to prove to them that you were as strong and brave as you believed yourself to be.
So, you went to the cave on your own. Lucifer had shown everyone where it was on the map so you knew exactly how to get there.
And if things got bad, you would just summon one of the demon brothers. Just not Lucifer. You could only imagine the proud smirk he would wear if you had to call on him for help and admit he was right.
The cave itself was pretty simple to get through and there were wonderful treasures surrounding you. Cursed items and grimoires that you would have never dreamed of existing.
All you had to do was grab one and bring it back with you and then everyone would know you were able to conquer the cave with no trouble.
You decided to choose the least conspicuous item, something small that didn’t radiate too much magic.
But something unique enough that people would be impressed with your feat.
You smiled softly at the item before putting it in your bag. Time to leave.
Suddenly the entire cave shook and you nervously looked around as a creature started appearing in front of you.
Lucifer never told you anything about the guardian of the cave - a creature that only appears if someone tries to steal the magical artifacts.
You didn’t even have time to think of a move before the creature attacked you, sending you into its eternal prison for your crime.
Lucifer got back to the House of Lamentation relatively late compared to when he usually arrived.
He wanted to give you ample time to cool down so that the two of you could have a proper conversation.
When he entered the building, Asmo was the first one Lucifer encountered.
“Lucifer! Is Y/N with you? I want to go shopping with them,” Asmo said with a smile and those words caused Lucifer to pause.
“They aren’t here?” Lucifer asked his younger brother. Asmo shook his head no before replying, “We all got here a while ago - we thought they were with you.”
Lucifer’s eyes were wide but everything about his demeanor remained calm on the outside.
On the inside, he was panicking as the realization of where you went dawned on him.
Lucifer was gone in a flash without even telling Asmo where he was going. He was silently cursing himself as he made his way to the cave, hoping that he would find you there and that you would be okay.
When he got there he searched every inch of the cave and when he didn’t find you his heart began to race.
For once, the calm and cool Avatar of Pride was beginning to panic at the thought of losing the love of his life.
He noticed some of the artifacts moved from their original position and that’s when he realized what must have happened.
He immediately summoned the guardian of the cave and demanded it release you. It was as simple as that.
After all, everyone is scared of making Lucifer angry - that was one thing his status in the Devildom was good for.
You were pulled out of the eternal prison and placed on the ground in front of Lucifer. You were asleep because of the magic and Lucifer’s heart broke at the sight of you.
He carefully picked you up and carried you back to the House of Lamentation where he laid you in his bed and took care of you until you woke up.
As he watched you sleep, he couldn’t help but blame himself. If he had just defended you like he knew he should have, then you would have never gone off on your own.
When you finally started to stir awake, Lucifer gently stroked your cheek with a loving yet pained smile. He hated seeing you like this.
“You’re awake,” he stated, relief washing over his features. You nodded your head as you began to recount the previous events and you felt deeply embarrassed. You couldn’t believe you had been so reckless.
You locked eyes with Lucifer expecting him to say I-told-you-so or to have a proud look in his eyes, but all you found was worry.
Lucifer couldn't care less about being right about the cave. All that mattered was that he had gotten you back safely.
“I’m sorry,” you tried to say, but he shook his head no in response. “I should have defended you against those students. I let my pride and reputation cloud my judgment and I nearly lost you because of it. I’m sorry,” he replied, his red eyes shining with more sincerity than you had ever seen them hold.
You carefully sat up and Lucifer helped you, making sure you were okay. When you were finally sitting upright, you pulled Lucifer into a hug and he gladly reciprocated it.
“Thank you for saving me,” you told him, barely above a whisper and his worries were washed away with your words, replaced with love and admiration as he pulled you closer.
From this moment forward, Lucifer would make sure that his pride never got in the way of your relationship and he would make sure that everyone at RAD knew that you were his and they were not allowed to mess with you.
Mammon wasn’t even sure why the two of you were fighting.
He had come home from an extremely late night at the casino in pretty bad shape.
He bet a bunch of money that he didn’t have, thinking he would win so it wouldn’t matter. But, then he lost.
And they expected him to pay up. But, he didn’t have any money so they took to roughing him up instead.
You had stayed up the entire night waiting for him, worried out of your mind. You were just praying that he would come home.
And when you saw the state he was in, you couldn’t help but scold him as you tended to his wounds. It was all coming from a place of love, and he knew it.
But, he was so used to having to defend himself against Lucifer.
He didn’t even realize he was being defensive until after the fight.
A simple argument that was meant to express your concern for Mammon turned into a heated exchange of words between the two of you and Mammon went too far.
He knew he went too far as soon as the words left his lips and he saw the look of hurt on your face.
But, he didn’t know how to fix it. He didn’t know how to take it back and he didn’t know what the right words to say were as he watched you storm out of his room.
He sat in his room in silence for an hour, thinking that you just needed some time to cool off. He figured you probably went to your room just to get some space from him.
The hour he spent by himself, he was going crazy.
Every inch of his body craved for him to go to your bedroom door and apologize.
He just wanted to hold you in his arms and tell you how sorry he was; but, his fear of you slamming the door in his face is what made him wait.
When he finally mustered up the courage to apologize, he knocked on the door quietly a few times but there was no answer.
He let out a sigh as he thought you wouldn’t even open the door. But, Mammon was stubborn and when you refused to open the door after a few more knocks, he invited himself in.
He let out a small gasp as he took in your bedroom. The lights were off, the bed was still made, and not a single item was out of place.
You weren’t there - you hadn’t been there all night. And now Mammon was panicking, because if you weren’t there then he had no idea where you went.
He rushed throughout the house asking if any of his brothers had seen you, even going so far as to wake some of them up.
Satan and Asmo were the most mad about that but when he explained that he couldn’t find you, they were all on board with searching for you.
After the fight, you decided you needed some air. You knew that you shouldn’t have scolded Mammon like Lucifer would have, but you couldn’t help it.
You were so worried and when he came home injured, it sent you over the edge. You loved Mammon so much and you were worried about what would happen if he wasn’t able to escape from someone he owed money to.
You were just trying to express that concern, but you knew that he wouldn’t take you badgering him as soon as he got home well.
You had only meant to step out for a moment to collect your thoughts. You were only going to take a quick walk around the block.
But, you weren’t expecting the demons that were lying in wait for a chance when one of the demon brothers wasn't with you.
It had taken three days for the demon brothers to get any kind of lead for you and Mammon hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep the entire time.
He just kept thinking about how he would promise he would never go to the casino again. Hell, he would promise anything you wanted if you were alright and they could find you.
When his brothers told him of the possible location, he was there before they could finish talking.
He had never felt so grateful to be the fastest in his life as he approached the location.
His heart stopped beating when he saw you on the ground there. He held his breath as he hoped that you were alive with everything he had.
When he approached you, he saw that you were injured but alive.
He let out a huge breath of relief as he gently scooped you into his arms and the way you weakly said his name broke his heart.
“I’m gonna get ya’ out of here,” he promised as he felt you fall asleep.
He quickly took you back to the House of Lamentation where everyone quickly tended to your wounds.
They left him alone as he waited for you to wake up and as you lay on the bed in front of him, he just kept whispering, “I’m sorry.”
When you finally did wake up, you saw Mammon sitting next to you, holding your hands. He had deep circles under his eyes and his eyes looked bloodshot.
“Hey,” you said quietly and Mammon let out a small laugh in disbelief.
“Hi,” he replied, as he placed a couple of kisses on the knuckles of your hand that he was holding.
You noticed the tears that rushed down his cheeks as the relief of you being awake set in and you wanted nothing more to comfort him.
You gently pulled him into the bed with you and he looked down in shame as you carefully wiped his tears.
“I’m okay,” you reassured him causing him to finally look into your eyes.
“Ya’ almost weren’t,” he replied and you let out a small sigh. You couldn’t argue with him there.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered and you shook your head no. “We both said things that night,” you replied.
“But I shouldn’t have been at that casino anyway,” he stated and there was a moment of silence before he added, “I promise I won’t ever go again if you promise not to leave me.”
You let out a small chuckle at his words before telling him, “I promise I won’t leave you, Mammon. And you can still go to the casino. Just, maybe when you have more money and not all night.”
He nodded his head, agreeing, as he pulled you into his arms and rested his head on top of yours.
He wished he had done this that night instead of fighting with you. But he was glad that he got the chance to do it again.
Because you meant everything to him and having you in his arms was everything he ever needed.
It was amazing how riled up Levi could get when it came to a game or anime that Levi adored.
His brothers knew how to push the Avatar of Envy’s buttons and Mammon was especially the worst when it came to messing with Levi.
Whenever Mammon was bored, Levi was usually the one who Mammon targeted for some entertainment.
And unfortunately, the second-born had decided to drag you into his scheme this time.
You weren’t even sure what was really happening at first. All you knew was that Mammon had approached you, wearing a devilish smile, and asked you to go to Levi’s room with him.
One thing led to another and before you knew it, Mammon was bragging about your gaming skills and he was telling Levi that he could never beat you in a game because you were just that much better than him.
You could see the fire burning behind Levi’s eyes at every word Mammon spoke, and before you knew it, he was fuming.
The two of them started exchanging heated words towards each other and you could see Levi’s sin starting to come into play.
Mammon had a mischievous glint in his eyes as he did everything he could to push his brother over the edge just to see what would happen. Troublemaker.
The next thing you knew, Levi was setting up a game and challenging you to a match against him.
You weren’t sure how it got to this point, but you were too far in thanks to your first demon that you couldn’t back out.
And Levi’s sin clouded his judgment when he chose the game for the two of you to play.
He wanted to prove to the two of you that it took more skills than pushing buttons on a controller to be the best at video games like Mammon claimed you were.
So, he chose to play the new game that he had just ordered from Akuzon - a real life survivor horror game.
Before you could protest his decision, the game had started up and three of you were transported to a world beyond the reality you knew.
You knew nothing about the game and you were starting to panic a bit now as you realized Mammon had gotten you in way over your head this time.
But neither of them seemed to notice your discomfort, still snarling at each other and arguing.
And now you were starting to get annoyed because if this was anything like Levi’s other games, there was a possibility that you could actually die in this world.
And you were going in blind, with no expectations of what was after you or how to beat it.
And as these thoughts piled up more and more, you got more and more frustrated at the sound of the two demon brothers arguing.
You finally snapped at them after another moment to try and get them to realize the gravity of the situation you were now in.
But, blinded by his jealousy and anger, Levi began arguing with you this time and with your current frustrations, you couldn’t help but fight back.
Levi had a sharp tongue as his words bit into you unnecessarily. You weren’t even the one who started this fight in the first place. You were just a bystander.
But before you could respond to his insults - and before he could apologize for them - all of the lights went out around the three of you and anger was replaced by fear.
You could hear something moving around you, but you couldn’t quite make out what it was.
You let out a muffled scream as you felt something grab you from behind, covering your mouth with one hand and using its other arm to drag you away.
You could hear the two demon brothers calling out for you, but you knew it was too late.
The lights came back on as soon as you were taken away and now Levi and Mammon were looking at each other with wide eyes that were full of panic as they processed what just happened.
“We have to find them,” Levi stated. “Don’t ya' think I know that,” Mammon replied.
“We’ll have to split up or we won’t get to them in time,” Levi responded.
Mammon hated the idea but agreed. Your safety was on the line and he was going to do whatever he could to help you get out of this situation.
They went their separate ways and Levi’s heart was pounding with anxiety. He was confident in his skills in these kinds of games - that’s why he bought them.
But, he never had such a big risk factored into the game. He was a demon who could most likely handle anything the game would throw at him.
But, you were just a human. He wasn’t sure how long you could last in this game and your safety banked entirely on his skills at completing the game quickly.
He wanted to focus solely on getting you back, but his self-deprecating thoughts always had a way of clouding his mind as he began blaming himself for putting you in this situation in the first place.
He knew how dangerous this game was, but he didn’t think before starting it up.
He should have taken a moment - he should have kept you safe instead of trying to prove a point.
The idea of losing you because of one judgment error that was influenced by his sin was enough to make tears start to sting in his eyes. He couldn’t lose you. Not now - not ever.
He quickly snapped himself out of those thoughts. Focus on the mission at hand.
There would be plenty of time to be down on himself later - once you were safe.
Levi raced through the entire game, taking on every challenge with unbelievable skill. If he wasn’t so worried he’d be excited about getting the fastest clear record.
He finally reached the dungeon area and took out the final boss with almost no effort. The Grand Admiral of Hell could be scary when he wanted to be.
He finally found you in one of the rooms, passed out.
Levi felt a wave of relief wash over him when he laid eyes on you, but his guilt only worsened when he saw the blood coating your arms and legs.
Luckily, they were minor injuries and you would be okay. But you got hurt because of him and it was something he could never forgive himself for.
The three of you were transported back to the Devildom, and as the scenery around him changed back to his room, Levi noticed Lucifer standing there, looking angry beyond belief.
Lucifer ordered Satan to tend to your wounds while he gave Mammon and Levi a very long lecture.
And there it was again - that familiar spark of jealousy at Satan being the one who got to tend to your wounds.
But look at the mess his sin had just gotten you all into. He didn’t have the right to be jealous when it was his jealousy that got you hurt.
Satan tended to your wounds pretty quickly, glad to see that things weren’t worse.
You had bandages on your arms and legs, but overall, you could move and the wounds weren’t that deep.
Levi showed up at your door a little while later and when you opened it, he refused to look at you out of the shame he was feeling.
You couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him. His sin was just as hard to control as the other brothers and Mammon had pushed him but you were sure he was only blaming himself for what happened.
You invited Levi in and he immediately started apologizing profusely.
You couldn’t get a word in, so to stop his rambling, you gently took his hand in yours and he finally met your eyes as his body started short-circuiting at the contact.
You bit back a smile at his reaction and told him sincerely, “I’m okay, Levi. Look - just a couple of bandages.”
Levi had never felt so grateful that you didn’t hate him for what happened and you led him over to your bed, not letting his hand go.
You wanted to distract Levi from the thoughts that always threatened to cripple him, so you asked him to watch anime with you. It was the least he could do, right?
Mostly, you just wanted to spend time with him and Levi couldn’t have been more excited.
You noticed him glancing at you throughout the night and you did your best not to lock eyes with him, knowing that if you caught him staring he might flee the scene.
But, he couldn’t stop admiring you and your resilience. He made a promise to himself that night to never let you be put in danger again; and, if you were in danger, he would be the one to save you again - the only one.
The Avatar of Wrath was one known for having outbursts at the smallest things
So, it should have been no surprise when he lost control in front of you.
You had made a simple mistake in which one of his books had gotten damaged and despite you apologizing profusely, he still lost his cool.
And you weren’t sure how to react, because while you had seen Satan take out his rage on others, he had never taken it out on you - not like this.
Part of you was in shock, and the other part was defensive because it really was a simple mistake.
But, Satan was in a blind rage and before he could stop himself, he had said some really hurtful things and had even broken some things in his room.
You were hurt, angry, and a bit scared of Satan so you fled the scene, needing some time to yourself.
You left the House of Lamentation, not wanting to see any of the other brothers either. You just needed a moment to calm down.
You decided to go for a walk and just took off in a random direction. You didn’t care where you were going.
All you cared about was getting away from the House of Lamentation for a while.
You should have paid more attention at RAD when they were going over the terrain of the Devildom because, after about thirty minutes of walking, you realized you were lost.
You were so lost in your own thoughts that you didn’t even notice the scenery had changed from the normal lights to you being completely surrounded by trees.
You let out a small shaky breath as the realization that you were in a bad situation suddenly dawned on you.
You surveyed the area around you, trying to find anything that might look familiar to you, but you were completely lost.
You could hear the Devildom creatures skittering through the forest only adding to the eerie atmosphere and making your heart beat faster.
You turned around and quickened your pace. You never made a turn, so if you just went back the way you came from then you should return to the House of Lamentation.
You walked for an hour in that direction and then you paused. You had only walked thirty minutes away from the House of Lamentation, so by now, you should have been back there.
But, still, the only thing that surrounded you were trees. You felt panic starting to settle in as you realized that you were completely lost and you desperately looked around as you tried to decide which direction to walk in.
Back at the House of Lamentation, Satan had finally started to calm down and with every ounce of rage that left his system, it was replaced with guilt.
You were the only person he never wanted his sin to affect, but he lost control.
The book was one he enjoyed reading, but he could get another copy. Besides, no book would mean as much to him as you did.
Satan immediately began searching the House of Lamentation for you but only found Beel in the kitchen instead.
“Satan, what are you doing here?” Beel asked and he was a little taken aback by his question. He lived there? Was that a sufficient answer?
Seeing his slight confusion, Beel clarified his question by saying, “I thought you were with Y/N.”
“I’m trying to find them,” Satan replied and now it was Beel’s turn to be slightly confused.
“They’re not here,” Beel replied and Satan’s heart skipped a beat.
“Where are they?” Satan asked, doing his best to stay calm but his voice was beginning to shake.
“I saw them leave. I thought they were meeting up with you,” Beel replied, a bit confused as to what exactly was going on.
Satan didn’t waste any more time as he quickly exited the House of Lamentation and now it was his turn to panic as all the worst possible case scenarios began playing through his mind.
Satan thought very analytically. He could find you. He would find you. He just needed to take a breath and think.
It had been several hours now since you left the House of Lamentation and you had given up hope of finding your way out of the woods any time soon.
You hadn’t dressed for a long trip through the Devildom woods and you were freezing now. You had multiple scrapes across your body from tripping and falling due to your exhaustion and lack of visibility with how dark the Devildom was.
You slumped against a tree and fell down to the ground, taking a few breaths to try and regain your energy as your eyelids started growing heavier and heavier.
You knew that you shouldn’t fall asleep there, but you couldn’t stop it and before you knew it, you were completely passed out.
Satan searched everywhere. He refused to give up until he found you. All he could do was hope that you were okay when he did find you.
It took time, but eventually, he came across you sitting on the ground, slumped against a tree and not moving.
Satan’s blood ran cold as he saw your form. From where he was standing he couldn’t see if you were breathing so he immediately rushed over to you, gently taking your head in his hands as he called your name.
His voice immediately woke you up and you slowly opened your eyes meeting striking green ones.
Satan let out a deep breath of relief when he saw you open your eyes and he carefully scooped you up in your arms.
Your head rested against his chest and he told you, “Get some rest. I’ll get you home safely.”
You were immediately comforted by his words, whatever fear you had of his rage dispersed by the way he lovingly held you and made you feel safe.
When you got back to the House of Lamentation, Satan set you on his bed and started tending to the scrapes you had obtained.
There was a bit of a tense silence between the two of you, neither one of you knowing what to say to each other.
“I promise, I will do everything in my power to never let my rage get out of hand towards you again,” Satan stated after another moment, keeping his eyes fixed on your injuries.
You could see the look of sadness in his eyes and you knew he must have been kicking himself for this whole situation.
“I’m sorry for damaging your book,” you replied, wanting to apologize as well but Satan shook his head.
“All that matters is that you're safe,” he replied as he finished with the first aid kit, setting it aside and sitting next to you on the bed.
He immediately pulled you into his arms, and kept you there, relishing in the warmth you provided. He could have lost you tonight and he didn’t know what he would ever do without you.
You hugged him back before reassuring him, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Asmo wasn’t one who typically argued with you. He loved you so much and only wanted you to love him back.
So he did anything and everything he could to make you happy.
And the biggest thing that made you happy was getting to spend time with Asmo.
While he was more than happy to oblige, dedicating his time to you also meant taking it away from the things that he used to do regularly to help keep his popularity status up.
Of course, Asmo had his group of loyal fans who would support him to the ends of the Devildom without requiring him to post on FabSnap or Devilgram regularly.
But, he’d be lying if he didn’t say that his popularity had certainly taken a hit lately.
You understood that having his fans was important for Asmo. He wanted to be loved by everyone and he could get really down in the dumps about himself if he wasn’t.
You tried to be supportive and not complain about the lack of time you had been getting with Asmo.
But now you were sitting alone in a restaurant, waiting for Asmo to show up, feeling embarrassed as you texted him.
This was the third date in a row that Asmo promised he would meet you, only for you to show up and have to wait for him.
He would either be extremely late or not show up at all and his excuse was always something to do with his livestream going on for longer than he thought it would or that he was taking extra time to make sure his look was perfect for pictures.
You knew that these kinds of things were just part of Asmo’s charm but you had been sitting at the restaurant for two hours now and you were beyond frustrated.
You decided to give up on the date idea and texted Asmo as much before deciding to take a walk around the Devildom.
You were fuming as you walked around the Devildom and you only got more irritated when Asmo texted you to innocently ask why you had canceled the date.
Asmo’s obliviousness as to why you were upset somehow made you even more made because you knew that Asmo wasn’t doing anything to intentionally make you mad.
You were stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, you missed your time with Asmo and you wanted to express your need for him.
On the other hand, you didn’t want to come off as unsupportive or ask him to take time away from something he loved.
Your mind was racing with these thoughts, clouding your awareness and distracting you from your surroundings.
You continued to walk, almost mindlessly, as you attempted to sort through your internal dilemma.
After a while, you decided to take a breath and reset - being stuck in an endless loop wasn’t going to help you solve anything.
You leaned against a nearby wall and took a look around yourself, trying to figure out where you ended up walking.
But the more you looked, the more you realized you didn’t find anything that looked familiar to you at all.
Your mind began to race again, but this time the thoughts were purely about all the things that could go wrong while you were by yourself in an unfamiliar part of the Devildom.
As you tried to figure out how to get out of there, you heard a group of demons approaching and your heart skipped a beat as you prepared for the worst.
Meanwhile, Asmo was searching everywhere for you.
You had opened his message and you never replied to it - and that was something you never did.
He gave you a few minutes to respond, hoping that you were just really mad and typing out a long message.
But, when it didn’t come, he promptly ended his livestream and went out to find you himself.
He searched around the restaurant and asked anyone he saw if they had seen you and eventually, he was pointed in a direction.
He tried his best to keep a clear mind but it was a difficult task as more and more possibilities of things that could have happened to you continuously popped into his mind.
The demons had approached you just as you believed they would. Not everyone believed in Diavolo’s exchange program like most of the students at RAD.
One of them had attacked you and you dodged it just in time, gaining a deep wound on your arm but protecting yourself from any fatal blows.
You thought that they were going to attack again when Asmo suddenly appeared out of nowhere, looking more angry than you had ever seen him.
You could see his lips moving so you knew he was talking, but you couldn’t hear what he was saying.
Whatever it was, you watched as fear crept into the faces of every single one of the demons before they eventually all scurried away.
You let out a breath of relief at their disappearance and Asmo turned to face you.
The anger immediately dissipated from his eyes, replaced with worry as he frantically looked at your arm.
It was only a gash on your arm, but Asmo would have everyone believe you were about to die.
He helped you get to the House of Lamentation where he was even more of a drama queen.
He started crying for help as soon as the door was open and when you were met with his brothers, Asmo’s face would be covered in tears as he begged his brothers to help you.
It was really overdramatic, but at least you knew that he cared.
Asmo held your hand and gently stroked your hair as your arm was tended to. He wanted to be there to comfort you, but you could tell he was uncomfortable by the way he winced whenever he caught a glimpse of your wound.
Once it was completely bandaged up, Asmo took you to his room and laid with you on his bed. He brought you as close to him as he could, making sure your injured arm was resting on top of him so that it didn’t get bumped around.
You were even deeper in your internal dilemma now. If Asmo hadn’t shown up when he did, you might not have made it. He saved you - so did you have a right to be mad about everything that happened before that situation?
Asmo could practically hear your mind racing. He knew that something was bothering you and he hated it.
“Are you mad at me?” Asmo asked. It was the only thing he could think of that would be causing you to think so hard. You let out a small sigh as you tried to find the right way to word things.
“No, Asmo. I’m not mad. I just - I miss you,” you replied and he could hear that your words carried a heavier weight than usual.
He stayed quiet for a moment, hoping you would continue on your own, but when you didn’t say anything else, he begged you to talk to him.
You knew that now was the best chance you were going to get to explain how you felt and you told him everything that had been bothering you.
Asmo was taken aback by your words. He had no idea that you were feeling like this and it bothered him more than you could ever know to find out he was the reason you were feeling like this.
Nothing was more important to him than you. You were the only one who brought love and light into his life and whether he had a million fans or none, it wouldn’t matter as long as he had you.
Asmo told you all of that but you also wanted to stress the fact that you didn’t want him to stop what he loved. That would be just as bad.
The two of you lay in bed for a while as you both brainstormed, both of you at an impasse and not knowing where to take things from there so that you would both be satisfied.
That’s when Asmo came up with the brilliant idea to have you livestream with him. It would mean you and him get to spend more time together without removing that part of his life.
Plus, the more popular you were among the denizens of the Devildom, the less likely anyone could try and hurt you again.
Asmo thought it was the perfect solution, as long as it was something you were interested in doing.
He wanted to give you some time to think about it, so he asked if the two of you could talk about it tomorrow.
That night, he had come too close to possibly losing you and the only thing he wanted to do was hold you close so he could remind himself that you were there with him.
That was the only thing that mattered.
While Beel’s stature could easily make anyone believe he was a fighter, everyone close to him knew that he was just a giant teddy bear.
He didn’t like fighting and he despised it even more so when it came to you.
Beel looked at you like you were the sun that his whole world revolved around. And because you meant so much to him, Beel never wanted to see you upset.
He did everything he could to make you happy.
So, for you and Beel to fight, it had to be over something pretty big - at the very least, over something that meant a lot to him.
And besides you and his family, the thing that meant the most to him was food. And he had been craving a specific item from a bakery that was a bit far from the House of Lamentation.
Beel had gotten the item in surplus because he rarely had the opportunity to go to the bakery.
He had even been so good about not eating all of it in one sitting so that he would have some extra for later.
But, when he returned to the kitchen for the rest of his food he instead discovered you - eating his special snack.
And now Beel was in an intense internal dilemma as his sin fought to reach the surface and cause him to snap at you.
He knew that you didn’t mean to eat his things on purpose. You had barely gotten the chance to discover all the food the Devildom had to offer so you would have no idea what snack you were eating or that it was hard to get it.
You saw Beel there in the kitchen watching you eat, a struggled look on his face as he tried to hold back his anger. He didn’t want to take it out on you.
You wondered why he could be angry and then you looked down at the evidence in your hand and you realized what you must have done.
“Was this yours?” you asked, afraid to hear the answer. He took a moment to respond, but his reaction gave you the answer you needed.
When he finally did speak, you could tell he was holding back as he explained where those snacks came from and how he doesn’t get a chance to have them often.
He was visibly upset, even though he was trying to hide it, and you felt terrible. You wouldn’t have eaten it if you had known how it was Beel’s, especially if it was a rare snack.
You tried to apologize to Beel but he was being a bit short with you. You couldn’t blame him though. You just wanted to find a way to make it right.
Beel ended up walking away from the situation so that he didn’t end up saying something that he didn’t mean and would regret later.
When he went to cool down, you felt even worse. Beel was never angry at you, so you knew that you messed up big time to bring him to this level.
Luckily for you, during the discussion, Beel had told you the name of the snack, the bakery it came from, and where it was in the Devildom.
You had all the information you needed to buy him more and you figured the least you could do was replenish what you ate.
So, you left immediately to the place where he talked about it.
However, what Beel didn’t mention while talking to you was that the reason he didn’t get the snack very often was because the area of the Devildom the bakery was located in was a very dangerous place.
It had been a while after you left when Beel was finally feeling a bit better.
He felt bad about being short with you and with the way he left in the middle of the conversation.
But, if you were anyone else, he would have already been on a food rampage and that was the last thing he wanted to happen so he thought walking away would be the best solution.
As soon as he was feeling better, he went to find you. He first looked in the kitchen where he last saw you.
You were nowhere to be found, but on the table where you were sitting, there was a note that you had left for Beel explaining where you had gone.
Beel felt his heart sink to his stomach as he read your words. There was no way you would go there without someone accompanying you, right?
Beel couldn’t afford to wait to find out the answer to that question.
While he was rushing to come to your aide, you found yourself in a bad situation with some demons.
You managed to find the bakery Beel mentioned and they still had some of those treats. You grabbed as much as you could afford - and carried - and you were making your way back to the House of Lamentation when a group of demons approached you and drove you into a nearby ally.
Beel showed up at the bakery a few minutes after you had left and immediately asked if they had seen you there. When they confirmed that you had bought some treats and already left, Beel was slightly panicked. If you weren’t there, where could you be?
He immediately began searching around the area, but he didn’t see you anywhere.
He heard a small scream close by and immediately rushed in the direction only to find you sitting on the ground, holding your leg.
Beel immediately rushed over to you and you were so thankful to see him. The other demons had already left, taking your belongings with them.
You were bleeding from a small wound near your ankle, but you were grateful that it wasn’t worse.
Beel was more than angry to see his girl injured but was also relieved that you hadn’t been more badly hurt.
“What were you thinking?” he asked softly, a question of worry not anger.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to make up for the food I ate by buying you more,” you replied and your eyes widened as you realized the demons had taken the snacks as well as your wallet so now you couldn’t even replenish Beel’s stock.
Beel seemed to understand what happened by the look you were expressing and he couldn’t help but fall in love with you a little more.
You were so kind and caring. You were someone who deserved the world and someone he believed he didn’t deserve.
Beel managed to treat your small wound before offering to take you to the bakery. This time the two of you could share some of those snacks.
He had money on him and didn’t mind paying for some more. Besides, you were both already down in that area, you might as well make the most of it.
The outing turned into a pretty good date that made Beel realize he never wanted to be without you by his side. And he would never let there be an opportunity where you could be taken from him again.
Beel was very sweet to you for the rest of the day, still feeling like the events of the day were his fault because he couldn’t control himself.
He more than made up for his small outburst and he wasn’t even the slightest bit angry about his food being eaten anymore.
Though, when you got back to the House of Lamentation, Beel made sure to tell Lucifer everything that had happened.
The demons who hurt you may have gotten away temporarily but when they messed with you, they missed with all seven of the demon brothers, and there wouldn’t be a place they could go where Lucifer wouldn’t find them and punish them.
It was no secret that Belphie tended to start fights. He could act bratty when he wanted to, and if you weren’t in the mood for his antics, it was easy to get upset at him.
And don’t think that he would back down if that happened. He would stand his ground until whoever was mad at him was forced to walk away; and, he would wear a smug smile as they did, knowing he had won.
But, Belphie never expected you to be on the opposite end of this kind of fight with him.
And it was over something that was so small but escalated too quickly.
You had come home from a very busy day at RAD and immediately went to the attic where Belphie was taking a nap.
You had recently been assigned to take charge in a RAD event that was coming up and to say that you were stressed would be an understatement.
You were overwhelmed and on the brink of a mental breakdown and you went to Belphie for comfort, hoping he could help you find a solution to your problems, or at the very least, calm you down.
But Belphie had just woken up to you being upset and truth be told, he still felt half-asleep.
He wanted to listen to you but every inch of his body was craving to go back to bed and it resulted in Belphie falling asleep midway through your rambling.
You shook him awake once more, desperate for his comfort and that’s when he pulled you down into the bed as well.
“Just take a nap, Y/N, it will help you feel better,” he told you and you let out a sigh as you felt like Belphie wasn’t listening to a word you were saying.
“I don’t have time to take a nap, Belphie. Weren’t you listening?” you asked him, turning to look at him only to be met with the sight of his eyes closed once more.
You let out a scoff as you moved from the bed, standing up and gathering your things to leave. Unbelievable.
“Sometimes, it feels like you don’t care at all,” you stated. You were exhausted and frustrated and the words left your lips before you could comprehend the weight of them.
And Belphie took offense to them. But instead of trying to convince you that he did care - an action that would have made you feel guilty for saying those words - Belphie got defensive.
He snapped back with his own snarky remark which led to the two of you arguing back and forth, exchanging heated words.
And when Belphie was in a battle of insults, he always won. Because he wasn’t afraid to go past the line that most people drew.
He immediately regretted it when the words came out and he saw the hurt in your eyes.
He tried to backpedal, but he was stuck and when you walked away he realized the feeling he got from this argument was far from the feeling of satisfaction he got when he bested one of his brothers.
You had decided to go back to RAD to work on the project you were assigned to try and take your mind off your fight with Belphie.
You could admit that you were out of line with the things you were saying, but so was Belphie. You felt awful about how things went, but you were afraid if you went back to Belphie too early, he would still be mad and the two of you would end up in another argument.
You didn’t mean to stay out for as long as you had. You were so wrapped up in your work that you didn’t even pay attention to the time.
And before you knew it, you had fallen asleep at RAD.
Belphie hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep since your fight. He felt guilty about his part in the fight; but mostly, he was anxious because he knew you left and you hadn’t come back yet.
He didn’t get any text messages or phone calls from you and none of his brothers had seen you and he was panicking.
He nervously paced in the attic as he wondered if he was the reason you were injured, once again.
He would never forgive himself if he found you hurt - or worse.
When his anxiety hit its peak, Belphie decided to go look for you himself.
His demon form had slipped out as panic clouded his mind and he raced around the Devildom, looking for you.
This was far more effort than he had ever put into anything but he could care less about that. You were the only thing on his mind.
His eyes were crazed as he looked everywhere he could think of, but you weren’t anywhere.
Finally, the last location he looked at was RAD and he felt his body flood with relief as he saw you passed out at one of the desks - perfectly fine.
Belphie let out a deep breath as he slowly returned to normal, taking in every inch of your body to assure himself that you were okay.
RAD. This should have been the first place he looked and if he really had been paying attention to you earlier - he would have thought about that.
Belphie cursed himself as he contemplated waking you. Would you even leave with him if he asked you to?
He approached the desks and saw what you were working on - there were still so many things you had to figure out for the event and he hated that instead of helping you, he pushed you away.
He looked over the documents and saw something he could help with. He quickly jotted his notes down on the paper and then another item caught his eye.
Without realizing what he was doing, Belphie continued to take notes about things that might help you with the event.
You woke up a few hours later and let out a groan, feeling how stiff your back and neck were from sleeping on the desk.
You let out a small gasp as you saw Belphie sitting next to you, passed out on a desk of his own. Did he come here just to sleep?
You went to gather your papers up to go back to the House of Lamentation. But, as you did, you saw there were notes all over them.
Your eyes widened as you read each paper. That was Belphie’s handwriting. He had solved every single one of your problems that was overwhelming you.
Your heart warmed as you felt even worse about the fight now. You loved Belphie and he loved you and you never should have accused him of not caring.
The work he put in for you told you everything you needed to know and you finished putting away your stuff before gently shaking Belphie awake.
He opened one eye and you gave him a small smile. “Let’s go home,” you told him softly and he let out a small sigh before standing up.
You didn’t get a chance to say anything before Belphie pulled you into his arms, his head lazily resting in the crook of your neck as he held you close.
“I do care,” he mumbled against your skin and you couldn’t help but hug him back.
“I know,” you replied with sincerity and Belphie was satisfied with your answer.
But, he was still a brat and when the two of you got back to the House of Lamentation, Belphie stated that you had to go lay down with him because you owed him for doing all of your work for you.
You wanted to glare at him for even trying to go that route, but he didn’t give you a chance, taking you to the attic and bringing you down onto the bed with him.
Belphie immediately pulled you close, a small smirk resting on his face as that feeling of satisfaction that he loved finally came to him.
All things considered, your work was done now and you could use some sleep in an actual bed so you didn’t mind laying down with Belphie.
And he just wanted to feel your warmth right there next to him - where you belonged. He never wanted to feel it missing from his side again.
