You were apprehensive about going to this event in the first place.
You had just gotten back to the Devildom after being away for some time and you were still readjusting to the way things were down there.
But, your friends had all insisted on taking you to an event that occurred in the streets of the Devildom.
There were going to be tons of food trucks, vendors, shows and so much more.
They promised you that you would have a ton of fun ~ so who were you to refuse to go?
It was only after you got to the event that you began to regret your decision to go.
You had all shown up in a large group, but it seemed that everyone had their own things that they wanted you to experience.
All fifteen of your friends almost immediately went their own way, wanting to get something from a specific vendor to bring back to you or wanting to get you tickets to a show.
They were in competition mode and whenever that happened, you knew that it was hard to get them back on track.
There were tons of people surrounding you; and, despite your best efforts, you couldn’t see a single one of your friends.
You were a bit frustrated at this point, mostly because you had only agreed to go for them.
And, now you were standing in the middle of a crowd of demons, by yourself, unsure where to go or what to do.
You wanted to call someone on your D.D.D. but with how busy it was around you, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to hear anyone even if they did pick up the phone.
You thought about using your pact to summon one of the brothers; but, you didn’t think you were at the stage where that was exactly necessary.
Especially since summoning could cause the brothers pain if it isn’t done properly and it had been a while since you tried to do it.
Unsure of what else to do, you decided to be a little mischievous and test your bond with the others a bit.
You took a deep breath before shouting into the crowd, “Y/N is a good-for-nothing human!”
You paused for a moment, looking around once again, but when you still couldn’t find anyone, you let out a small sigh.
I guess that didn’t work…
“Alright, who said that?!” Mammon shouted, suddenly barreling through people to reach you.
“Oh, there you are!” you said, relieved at the sight of a familiar face and completely forgetting about your little joke.
But, there were fifteen people suddenly rushing to your side who did not forget about what was said.
They each came to you, one by one, hot and heavy and ready to throw punches.
You listened as they each began to throw insults toward this imaginary person as they searched the crowd for who could possibly be the culprit.
You tried to interject a few times, wanting to tell them the truth, but every time you opened your mouth, you were interrupted by another angry person.
“Y/N, did you see who said those words about you so we could find them?” Diavolo asked you, concern in his eyes as everyone turned their attention to you.
You were holding back a laugh as your cheeks dusted pink from all of the attention.
“Sure ~ it was me,” you admitted and their faces turned from ones of anger to confusion.
“Why would you say that stuff about yourself?” Beel asked as innocently as ever.
“Geez, Levi, you’re rubbin’ off on ‘em,” Mammon pouted, causing Levi to look extremely guilty.
“Relax, everyone,” you replied, stifling another laugh.
“I lost you in the crowd and I thought it would catch your attention enough that you would come find me. Looks like I was right,” you explained.
“Well that was risky,” Belphie stated. “Satan nearly lost his mind,” Solomon agreed quietly.
You couldn’t help but notice how adorable they all looked, pouting at the prank you managed to pull off.
“I’m sorry, really. But, I thought the purpose of bringing me to this event was so that I could experience everything with all of you. Not for me to stand alone in the crowd,” you added.
You could feel the tension in the air shift as they realized that they had left you alone and understood where you were coming from.
They completely abandoned you in the middle of this large event. No wonder you pulled that stunt.
They promised not to leave you alone again and they each took you to their favorite parts of the event, making sure that at least one person was with you at all times.
They made you promise that you would never try something like that again.
You had fifteen people who were ready to fight for you at the drop of a dime, and saying something like that, even if you were joking, would always set them off.
Because they cared about you far too much to let something like that slide.

✨My Masterlist✨
Just as soon as your professor dismisses class, you pull out your DDD. You’re supposed to meet up with a certain angel today. You’ve been spending quite a bit of time together recently. And you couldn’t be more thrilled. He’s such a sweet person and you’re glad to call him your friend. He radiates warmth and love and… Well, you suppose that’s just what angels do–
Your eyes bulge out of your head when you see your most recent message. You stifle a laugh behind your hand. He can’t possibly mean what you think he does; you can’t wait to find out what this translates to. You double check what it says and grab your bag, laughing as you walk to your meeting place.
—
“I just don’t understand,” Simeon starts, a crease forming on his forehead. “Why were the emojis I sent… inappropriate?”
“Simeon, a lot of people use the eggplant emoji to mean…” You glance around the mostly-empty hallway, and rise up on your toes to whisper in his ear. As soon as you’re finished explaining, his cheeks darken and his eyes are wider than you thought possible. He’s too cute for this world, you think as he raises a gloved hand to cover his mouth.
“So, you see now why I was sort of confused. Right?” You ask, a dusting of pink on your own face.
“Oh dear, MC. I– I apologize.” Simeon cringes, realizing what he’d accidentally done. He could die of embarrassment.
You laugh and pat the technologically clueless angel’s arm. He’s so special. Kind, smart, funny. But, despite being thousands of years old, somehow naive at times. “It’s okay. I knew you didn’t mean it like that.”
“Do any other symbols have secret meanings?” He asks, a scared look in his eyes. You stand next to him as he scrolls through his emoji keyboard and point out the ones that could have not-so-angelic meanings.
“That means what?!” Simeon asks, in disbelief, when you reach the sweat droplets emoji. His face is burning. And yours is no different. “I… can’t believe I’ve been sending it to Luke when it’s hot out.”
“I’m sure Luke has no idea. It only means that in… certain contexts. Like, if you paired it with an eggplant,” you explain softly. He sighs, thankful that at least he isn’t somehow sending dirty texts to his pseudo-child. Then he puts his phone away, unwilling to learn more.
“So, um, would you like to come over for some leftover eggplant parmesan?” Simeon asks, his eyes on the ground and his face warm.
“Sure.” You try your best not to laugh, but when your eyes meet his, you can’t help it.
—
Simeon had been drawn to you since the day you met. You were easy to talk to. You were sweet and friendly and helpful. You gave off a light, some sort of beacon in the darkness of the Devildom. He wasn’t sure where that light came from. Or why he could see it. Until recently.
He has feelings for you. Of this, he is certain. They are undeniable and unrelenting. And, as much as they frighten him, he can’t shake them. What’s more, he doesn’t want to.
So, that’s why he’s been walking you home. He’s in love and he’s not sure what to do about it, so he’s decided to follow you like a puppy as long as you’ll let him. And last week, when he invited you over for leftovers, you didn’t laugh in his face. (Okay, well, you did, but only because he’s technologically illiterate.)
Besides inadvertently sexting you, Simeon thinks he must be doing something right. He cringes inwardly, remembering how he’d felt when he learned that people had some pretty vulgar uses for cartoonized fruits. But he shakes that away.
For the past week, or maybe longer, he’s been trying to find the courage to tell you how he feels. And while he’s written these feelings before, he can’t say he’s ever felt them. And there is a stark difference.
For instance, when he’s writing, he controls each characters’ feelings and responses. He knows what one will say, because he knows what the others’ reaction will be. What if you were to go off-script? The idea is nauseating.
So, now, on the walk to the House with you, he’s anxious. His stomach is in knots, and not just because he let Solomon help with dinner the night before. The two of you are walking side-by-side and he can vaguely hear you prattling about something, but he has no idea what. Because his heart is pounding in his ears. And he can barely focus on moving his legs in time to walk with you.
“Don’t you think so, Simeon?” You ask, looking up at him.
At the sound of his name, he gives you a confused look. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Weren’t you paying attention?” Your eyebrows are scrunched.
“I’m afraid I wasn’t. My mind was elsewhere.” He admits, looking away sheepishly.
You smile, “Oh, it’s okay. I was just saying how weird it is that it’s always night down here. I’m still not entirely used to it.”
Was it night? He’d hardly noticed. Your smile has that effect on him.
“Oh, yeah. It is strange. Of course, where I’m from, you get neverending sun.” He replies.
“Huh. That sounds kinda… awful. No offense.”
Simeon laughs at your honesty. “It’s a big change, but a welcome one. I rather enjoy the night. How about you? Do you miss the sun?”
The two of you are approaching the stoop of the House. He’s running out of time!
“Oh yeah, I miss daytime for sure,” you say, rummaging through your bag. “I’m always terrified to walk anywhere alone here.” You add before triumphantly pulling out your keys.
Simeon is well aware of the dangers of the Devildom. He can’t imagine how frightening it must be to a human. The thought of anything happening to you…
“I’d be happy to accompany you anywhere you go.” Simeon offers.
Your eyes widen and you start to smile. “Really? That’s so sweet.”
He merely nods. Oh Father, his palms are sweating. That ruins his plan to hold your hands and pour his heart out. Think quicker! Simeon takes a deep breath as you turn to unlock the door.
“MC?” He says, softly. Nervously.
You turn back towards him, just in time for him to swoop down and place a kiss on your forehead, taking you by surprise. Your mouth drops open and you drop your keys. And you don’t have time to respond, because as soon as you feel it, he’s gone in a blur of white.
Simeon’s face is on fire as he soars through the dark, Devildom sky. He did it! He did it! Wait… He did what exactly?
As he nears his own dormitory, he realizes that, instead of confessing his feelings to you, he’d slapped a kiss to your head and flew away. Like a coward.
“Oh, feathers,” he says, bringing a hand to his own forehead. Maybe he at least got the point across?
You press your fingertips to the searing spot on your forehead, wondering what had come over the angel. You step into the House, still confused. Do… Do angels just spontaneously kiss their friends on the head?
Stranger things have happened, I guess, you think as you step into the entrance hall, noting the cow hanging from the chandelier. “Hi Belphie.”
“Hmmph.”
“Are you… asleep?” You ask, but don’t get a response. Lucifer must’ve strung him up for skipping class. You continue to your room and start to tap out a text. As soon as it’s sent, your heart does a flip.
There’s a knock on your door and, before you have time to pretend you aren’t there, it swings open revealing the Avatar of Lust. “Hi Asmo. What’s up?” You say, trying your best to seem normal.
“Hey darling, I just wanted to ask if this top looks okay with this neckl–” He pauses and gives you a once over, a smirk forming on his lips. “What’s got you so blushy?”
“What? I’m not blushy,” you deny, though you can feel the warmth in your cheeks. Asmo sits down next to you.
“Yes you are. And I thought only I could fluster you so.” He sighs, dejectedly falling backwards onto your mattress with an arm over his face.
“Simeon kissed me,” you blurt out. Asmo sits up immediately, with a grave look on his lovely face.
“He what?”
“I… uh, he kissed me on the forehead.” You explain, pointing to the spot.
Asmo furrows his brows, “That’s… odd.”
“It is?”
“I… Sweetie.” Asmo takes a breath and exhales slowly. Instead of his usual, cheerful expression, he wears a serious one. “Our little sister, Lilith. She fell in love with a human…” He trails off, letting you fill in the blanks.
“Oh. Right…” Your heart clenches and your hands clutch your DDD.
Asmodeus smiles sadly and puts an arm around your shoulders. “Don’t look so sad, dear. Maybe… Maybe He is more forgiving now.” He offers, but he doesn’t look convinced.
—
Simeon is still kicking himself for flying away like an idiot when his DDD makes a noise. It is, however; the special noise that it always makes when you text him, so he grabs it.
You can kiss me properly next time. If you want to. <3
He reads it several times and has a smile on his face for the rest of the evening.
—
You’d spent all night fretting over your situation. And you had eventually come to the decision that it was too risky for you to pursue Simeon any longer. For his sake, you had to put a stop whatever it was you had. Even if it broke both your hearts.
But, you supposed letting him walk you home one last time would be all right. So, you’re walking silently beside him, trying to figure out how to let him down gently.
“MC, may I take you up on what you said last night?” Simeon asks as you near the gate, shaking you from your thoughts.
You’d been hoping that he’d forgotten the message, so you wouldn’t have to turn him down. But… Now that he’s here looking at you like that, you can’t refuse. You nod slowly and he exhales before leaning down to press his lips against yours.
His lips are soft. And warm. And angelic.
You pull away abruptly. “I, uh, really need to head inside. I’ve got cooking duty tonight!” You lie, rushing up the stairs to the door.
“Do you need any help?” He offers.
“No, no. It’s fine. I’ll see you later!” You wave, then shut the door and leave the angel alone on the walkway confused.
He was so sure that you…
Maybe he was wrong.
—
Once Simeon gets home, he goes to ask for advice from his only other human friend. He finds Solomon in his bedroom, reading a dusty-looking book. The sorcerer listens intently as Simeon breaks down his last few interactions with you.
“I just don’t understand. I thought… See, they said yes, but then they froze up and rushed into the house.” Simeon says, recounting his most recent encounter.
Solomon thinks for a moment. “Maybe they just got nervous.”
“Hmm.” Simeon considers it a possibility. “What do you think I should do now?”
“Try to be more direct? Tell them exactly how you feel.” Solomon says with a smile before turning the page.
Simeon nods. He can do that.
Wrong.
Over the course of two weeks, he spends approximately six minutes alone with you. You’ve started walking home with one of your demonic housemates every day. You don’t answer your messages as quickly as before. And when you do answer them, it’s often with short, one word replies or stickers.
It’s starting to stress him out.
He can’t understand the radio silence. You tell him that you’re busy with class projects and he believes it for a while, but… You seem to have time for everyone except him.
He finally catches you with free time and invites you over for lunch. When you accept, he’s relieved. And excited. He’s telling you today. Today!
He’s just finished preparing something delicious for you, with help from Luke. (And Solomon, who’d agreed to stay away from the kitchen for the day.) Simeon dusts his hands off and takes a step back to admire his work. The table looks wonderful, all it needs is you sitting on one side.
The chime of the doorbell rings throughout the house, startling him. He checks his appearance with Luke quickly and rushes to answer the door.
When he opens it and starts to usher you inside, you don’t move. You have a sad look on your face.
“MC?” Simeon asks. He notices Beelzebub on the sidewalk by the mailbox, leaning against the fence.
You take a deep breath. “I just came by to say that… I don’t think we should see each other anymore. At least for a little while.”
Simeon’s mouth drops open. His eyes search your face, waiting for a grin to break out. For you to say ‘Just kidding! Let’s go have lunch.’
But you don’t. He can’t form any thoughts in his mind or on his tongue. “W-what?”
“I’m so sorry.” You say softly. Then you turn and rush down the steps to where Beelzebub is waiting. The two of you start in the direction of the HOL and Simeon stands stupidly in the doorway, watching you leave.
“Simeon, MC. The cookies are…” Luke starts, coming into the living room. But he stops when he sees his guardian standing alone at the door.
“Where’s MC?” The younger angel asks.
Simeon swallows the lump in his throat and shuts the door, leaning against it for a moment to take a breath. Then he turns. “They left.” Is all he says as he walks past Luke and to his room.
—
Simeon spends the next few days hiding away in his room. He leaves to go to RAD and comes right back, to brood alone until bedtime. He does his best not to show how devastated he is, but it’s rough. He’s not even sure what he’d done wrong. He was so sure…
Regardless, he tries to keep a pleasant expression around Luke. And everyone else really. But there’s not really a point, because by now, everyone knows what happened.
Currently, he’s sitting on a chair in his room, gazing out the picture window at the dark, cloudy sky. He has the view memorized. Four small bushes, each of them filled with blooming roses. Four trees, one of which has a bird’s nest in it. The fence around the border of the backyard. A streetlamp on the far right side.
And… MC walking down the street with Asmodeus?
As soon as he sees you, rain starts to trickle down from the sky, making Asmodeus lift his coat over his head. And the two of you start to run. He watches until you’re around the corner, then becomes content with watching water droplets on the window pane, how they race to the bottom and fall.
How melodramatic. Simeon huffs out a sigh. He has better things to do than stare out the window, hasn’t he?
Simeon makes himself rise from the chair to go fetch his TSL notes from the desk. He settles himself back into his seat and starts to reread what he’s got. But, as he reads, he finds himself uninterested in it.
“The pacing of this chapter is entirely too fast. What was I thinking?” Simeon rolls his eyes and starts to make notes for future him.
“Too fast?” He repeats to himself. He drops his notepad and rushes out of his room, scaring the hell out of Solomon in the process.
The wizard nearly spills the cup of tea he’d been bringing. “Where are you going so quickly?” He asks as he recovers.
“I have to talk to MC. I think I know what I did wrong.” Simeon says, opening the door. He doesn’t give Solomon enough time to talk him out of it. Instead, he unfurls his wings and dives off the porch.
It doesn’t take long for him to reach the House, even in the hastily deteriorating weather. He spots you and Asmo just reaching the stairs.
—
“I hate this weather. It was humid earlier and my hair is already hard to manage,” Asmo whines.
“I know,” you sigh.
“Show a little sympathy, MC! It’s practically wilted—” Asmo cuts off to look behind you, mouth dropped open.
Your eyebrows scrunch, “What is it?”
Asmo merely takes you by the arm and spins you around in time for you to see Simeon’s feet hit the ground. The angel’s cape is wet and his hair is plastered to his forehead.
“I need to talk to you MC. Please?” He asks as his wings fold up and disappear behind him. And with the look on his face, you can’t help but agree.
“Okay.” You say with a small nod. Asmo gives you a look. “Go in, Asmo. Your hair is getting ruined.”
“Oh, fuck.” Asmo curses, still with his coat over his head. The Avatar of Lust climbs the stairs and stands on the porch, waiting for you.
“What is it?” You ask, with your eyes on the ground. You focus on a puddle forming in the dirt. Simeon steps closer to you.
“I have to apologize.”
You make a face and look up at him. “For what?”
“For pressuring you. You see, I thought things were going well. I care so much for you and I thought I was taking the next step. But, if it’s too fast for you, that’s all right. We can slow down.” He says, an earnest look on his face.
“Simeon.” You try to stop him, but he just continues.
“I just miss you. And I’m sorry for what I did.”
“Sim—”
“Please, give me another chance. I’ll fix it.” The angel pleads, staring into your eyes. You can’t believe what you’re about to say.
The corners of your mouth tremble. “No.” Your voice breaks, taking his heart with it.
“No?” Simeon repeats, devastated. His eyes are watery and the lump in his throat only expands, making it hard to breathe. “Why?”
Your own eyes are brimming over with tears and as hard as you try to blink them away, you can’t. They start to stream down your face, alongside the rain. Simeon reaches out for you, but you shake your head and he freezes.
“I can’t do this. I can’t–” You sob. The rain picks up. “I won’t be the reason you fall, Simeon. I love you too much. I won’t let it happen. Not because of me. So, please, just… Just go home.”
Simeon lets out an uneven breath. You’ve been worried about him this whole time, trying to protect him. It makes his heart swell. Of course falling had crossed his mind; it was a horrifying possibility. But you were worth it. Oh God, you were worth everything.
Simeon takes another step, closing the distance between you. “That isn’t your decision to make.” He says. Then he takes your hands in his and smiles at you softly, fondly.
“Whether we are together or not, I will love you. Whether I’m an angel or… not, I will love you. Nothing can change that. These feelings are already in my heart; I’m afraid I can’t do anything about them. What happens to me now is up to my Father and no one else. You hold no responsibility for my fate.”
You gulp, “but–”
“I would rather be with you than be an angel,” Simeon insists. You blink again, new tears are forming, for a completely different reason.
“But you…”
“Falling isn’t something I want to do, but if that comes, at least I’ll have a soft place to land.” He says, a smile playing on his lips.
You snort a laugh, “Simeon–”
“I love you, MC.” He declares.
“I love you too.” You reply shakily, as if you’re waiting for a bolt of lightning to strike. Simeon beams at your words. You step forward, into his arms, and both of you can breathe again. The angel is wrapped around you, his cheek pressed against the side of your head.
“More than my wings. More than my life.” He whispers into your ear. And he means it. Though, he does shudder when a clash of thunder shakes the ground beneath your feet. It’s… just a coincidence.
“May I kiss you properly now?” Simeon asks, making your eyes widen. When you nod, he tilts your face up and presses his lips to yours. Thunder rumbles yet again as you break apart.
“Awww!!! This is so sweet, I’m dying!” You hear from behind you. Both you and Simeon furrow your brows. When you turn to look, Asmodeus has his DDD pointed your way. He gapes at your murderous expression and bolts off, into the House.
“ASMO!” You shout, chasing after him and dragging Simeon behind you by the hand. You nearly trip over the rug in the entrance hall, but Simeon keeps you steady. He laughs as you hurl curses at the Avatar of Lust and adores the way his hand feels in yours.
If this lasts forever, it won’t be long enough. After all, what is divinity compared to the love of a human?
Sitting in class looking at the board, I quickly wrote the notes down. Yet I didn't fully understand what the teacher was giving a lecture about. I had something completely different than the biology of a demon on my mind. I couldn't stop day dreaming about Simeon. His dark silky hair I'd die to run my fingers through, his soft and supple looking skin, his bright smile that he shared with everyone. He truly was an angel, I wouldn't believe anyone if they told you any different.
The bell rung startling me out of my thoughts. Standing up I proceeded towards the exit only to be stopped by Lucifer.
"(Y/n), I want to remind you of the meeting we have after lunch with Lord Diavolo," He stated looking down at me with a stern look.
"Yeah, I remember, but thanks for reminding me," I replied with a smile. In return Lucifer gave you a somewhat sinister smile. Honestly he scared me. He walked with me into the cafeteria. I scanned the room looking for a certain dark haired angel. Our eyes connected surprising me slightly. He flashed me a grin waving me over. I looked towards Lucifer only to notice his absence. Well I guess I'm going to eat with the angels today.
After I got my food and made my way to the love of my life...*ahem* I mean my crush. I sat down between Luke and Simeon giving them both a smile. Me and Simeon ended up just listening to Luke rant about how much he didn't like the 7 demon brothers while we ate.
"Y'know Luke, they aren't as bad as you think," I said trying to get Luke to see them in a different view. "They have been really nice and I think you all could become great friends!"
"Don't trust them, demons always end up being sneaky," Luke grumbled crossing his arms.
"I agree with (y/n), I'm sure if we made an effort we would all bond greatly," Simeon agreed with me. I felt overjoyed hearing this, maybe with some work I could help Diavolo make his dream come true and have the realms hate each other less. Yet that was just a thought. "(Y/n) I was wondering if you would like to join me for a stroll after school," Simeon proposed resting his head on his hand.
"I would love to!" I exclaimed excitedly. My eyes widened realizing how desperate I probably sounded desperate. He just laughed with a slight rosy hue tinted on his cheeks. Holy shit I feel like I'm going to go blind with how beautiful he was.
ওওও
The meeting was super boring but hey, I got to skip out on some classes. I mean it took up the second half of the school day. I ended up walking to Purgatory Hall with Simeon, Solomon and Luke. At first Mammon wouldn't stop yelling about how I should stay by his side instead but Lucifer shut him up pretty quickly. I wonder what type of punishments Lucifer gives Mammon? Maybe I'd rather not know...
Simeon and I left the two and went towards a park that he saw before. It was...unique. The tree's in Devildom were quite different than what you see in the human world. The playground for children also looked a bit grim. Yet I still enjoyed it none the less. The conversation me and Simeon held was random, talking about our different experiences. He had a ton of questions about humans and what we do while I asked how it was like being an actual breathing angel.
We both ended up sitting on the swings in the playground, they seemed somewhat normal.
"How do you perceive emotions?" Simeon asked tilting his head slightly.
"Well I mean there are many emotions, some that I can't even name cause I don't understand them myself," I explained swinging slightly. "Don't you feel emotions too though? I mean you ARE a living being."
"I do, but I actually wanted to ask something else," He said, and from what I could tell he started to look flustered. Omg did he like someone?!?!?! "(Y/n)," Simeon stated with a serious gaze looking into my eyes. His teal eyes seemed to put me in a trance. "I get this weird fuzzy feeling around you. Your smile makes my heart beat fast and I feel the need to hug you at all times."
My mind started to spin as I felt my heart jump up my throat. This couldn't be real...this had to be a dream. I mean an angel falling for a human? If this was a dream please don't wake me up.
"...n), (y/n)?" I was brought out of my thoughts hearing my name fall out of Simeon's lips.
"H-huh?" I mumbled blinking owlishly at Simeon.
"Do you perhaps now what this feeling is?" He asked. Why did he have to look so perfect?
"W-well, I think you h-have romantic f-f-feelings for me," I replied looking away trying to hide my blush.
"Do you feel that way towards me?" He asked, his voice filled with hope.
"Y-yeah," As I agreed I felt soft hands cup my cheeks turning my face towards Simeons. I couldn't help but stare into those ocean eyes. He looked like he was literally glowing as he beamed down at me. He then removed his hands to hug me. It was so warm and welcoming that I felt like I was melting.
We then stood up and he walked me to the House of Lamenation.
"Simeon does this mean we are dating now?" I asked fiddling with the hem of my shirt feeling shy asking such a thing.
"Of course! Uhm...what is that?" He asked sheepishly. So after I breifly explained what dating is and being boyfriend, girlfriend was he nodded in understanding. "I'd be honored to date someone like you." He was so pure I could just die. I stood up on my tip toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek, which seemed to fluster him making me proud.
I could tell this was the start of something wonderful.

Lucifer was not one who was known to show emotion so easily. Usually, he kept his feelings locked up tight for no one else to see.
But, seeing his dead lover standing in front of him was as good an excuse as any to slip up on his cold facade.
He was in front of you before you had even seen him, scrutinizing you with a watchful eye as he tried to discern whether you were real or not.
You couldn’t help the small smile that formed on your lips as you took in his appearance.
He could tell that it was you and that you were real, but he couldn’t figure out how it was possible.
Slowly, you showed him your wings, explaining everything about your rebirth and your fall.
There was a switch that flipped inside of Lucifer when he saw your wings. First, he was relieved to see that they weren’t angelic anymore.
After all, even if the fall hadn’t changed them into demon wings, being with him certainly would.
Second, his mind was spinning as he thought about how much stronger you must be now that you were a fallen angel.
The idea of you walking through the Devildom and having a presence that demanded respect from others now was enough to set his sin off and take you back to the House of Lamentation.
He wasted no time in bringing you to his bedroom. He had missed you way too much to waste a single second of his time with you.
He couldn’t help but admire your wings once more when the two of you were in his room.
He thought it was ironic that you had actually fallen from grace considering the amount of times he had spent with you in the bedroom making you “fall from grace.”
This took a whole new literal meaning for him and the idea made a small blush rise to his cheeks as he realized it wouldn’t be the last time you fell from grace for him either.
The first time Mammon saw you again in the Devildom, he immediately rushed over to you and pulled you into a hug.
He knew that you had died and he didn’t know how you were even in front of him right now.
He didn’t care if you were a ghost, a hallucination, or whatever else you could have been.
He just needed you back in his arms where you belonged, even if it was just for a moment.
He had been miserable without you, down-right depressed, and even if this wasn’t real, he was going to savor every moment of it.
You hugged him back with just as much love, craving his touch as much as he had been craving yours.
After the initial few moments passed and Mammon realized you hadn’t disappeared yet, he pulled back to look at you.
“How are ya’ here?” he asked you, taking in all of your features as if it was the first time seeing them.
When you explained everything to him about being reborn as an angel and falling to be with him again, he wasn’t sure how to feel. There were too many emotions and not enough time to sort through all of them.
But, the most prominent emotion he felt was love. Love for you and loved by you.
He immediately pulled you into a kiss, the feeling of your lips burning on his own.
When the two of you were in the privacy of his room, Mammon begged you to show him your wings.
If you were a fallen angel, you definitely had them and the curiosity of what they looked like was killing him.
You complied, a bit nervous about what he would think of them. Mammon wasn’t expecting them to look that good on you.
He couldn’t even come up with words, instead turning bright red, as he tried to push any and all intruding thoughts out of his mind.
He was absolutely loving how much of a badass you looked like as a fallen angel.
But, definitely sulked a bit when he realized he couldn’t call you “his human” anymore.
You had to go to the House of Lamentation to see Levi again.
He hadn’t left his room since your death and he wasn’t planning on leaving any time soon.
Everything reminded him of you and it was too painful so he spent his time in solidarity, hoping to distract himself from the pain with the things he loved.
When he heard knocking on the door, he ignored it. When the knocking continued, he promptly told whoever it was to go away. When it still didn’t stop, he opened the door angrily, ready to tell whoever it was off.
But, the last thing he expected was for you to be on the other side of the door and he was completely caught off-guard.
He experienced a rush of emotions as you closed the gap between the two of you, knowing that if you didn’t, the two of you would be stuck in this endless stalemate.
Levi froze as he felt your arms around him - arms he had fantasized about being around him again.
He was sure this wasn’t real, that you would disappear any moment, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t enjoy the feeling while it lasted.
You pulled away after a moment, and Levi was still in shock.
He stayed quiet as you explained everything and you mistook his silence for disbelief.
So, you had no choice but to show him your wings to prove that everything you were saying was real.
And, seeing your new wings snapped him out of his trance instantly as he immediately began fangirling over them.
They looked so good on you, and they had such a unique texture. He was a blushing mess as he realized he touched them without asking for permission.
You thought it was cute, how he was still nervous to touch you despite him touching you countless times before.
He had a million questions for you that you did your best to answer and it’s only after his interrogation that he realized you were really back.
And as he processed that information, he couldn’t be any happier than now with you - his new fallen angel.
Satan took a moment to analyze everything about his current surroundings when he saw you.
You stood in front of him, a bit away, wanting nothing more than to run directly into his arms while he stood there running every possibility through his mind.
He approached you carefully, taking in every piece of evidence he could acquire to prove you weren’t real.
He stood directly in front of you now, able to reach out and touch you. He gently stroked your cheek with the back of his hand, questioning his own senses.
Because you felt real. And you looked real. But he had seen you die.
You already knew what Satan was thinking without him having to say a word and you gently took his hands in yours before telling him, “I’m real.”
Your words gave him all the validation he needed and within a moment, you were pulled into his embrace.
Your head rested against his chest as he held you impossibly close before asking, “But, how?”
You pulled away from the hug to explain everything to Satan and to say he was surprised was an understatement.
You being here certainly made things easier for him. After all, he had been studying re-animation spells since the moment you died, intent on bringing you back to life.
He didn’t even know that it was possible for you to be reborn as an angel. You did have a piece of Lilith inside of you, but would that have been enough?
He was a man of hard facts and proof. So it wasn’t until you were showing him your angel wings, distorted from the fall, that he allowed himself to believe what was happening.
And you were like a whole new muse for him. Not only did he get his lover back, but he was so excited to explore all your new powers with you as an angel.
He never got wings like his other brothers so he didn’t know a whole lot about them on a personal level and now he was getting the chance to inspect them in great detail with you by his side once again.
Asmo is a complete mess the second he sees you again. Crying, hugs, kisses all over. You’ll get the full treatment when you’re back in his arms.
You already knew how much Asmo loved you. He made it a point to express it to you every day.
But, he’ll want to make sure you know it again when you come back to him. He wants to make sure you can feel it so that you never leave him again.
He was a wreck without you. He was lonely and sad and it was a terrible look for him.
But now that you were back, it felt like the pieces of his heart were slowly healing back together.
Everything felt right in his world when you were in his arms and he planned on never letting go.
But, you needed him to let go, just for a moment. So you could explain what had happened.
He brought you to his bedroom so that the two of you could speak in private and when you told him everything, his eyes lit up with excitement.
His mind was filled with images of how attractive you must look with your new wings and he had to see them.
You agreed to show them to him, knowing it would make him happy and as he took them in, you could see his eyes feeling with lust.
You looked even more attractive than he could ever imagine.
It was a good thing the two of you were in his bedroom already because he wanted to show you how much he loved you and now, he planned on showing you all of the advantages that came with having wings.
Beel loved you and that was a fact that would never change even if your appearance did.
The moment he saw you again, he didn’t see anything else around him.
Your wings were currently out, but he didn’t even notice them, focusing solely on you being in his arms again.
He had been hurting so much since you died and now that you were in front of him, he just needed to feel you in his arms again.
He refused to budge from the hug as he asked you how you were there, so you had to explain everything while your head was pressed against his chest.
He took in all of the information you had said, but he was having a hard time processing it.
You were reborn as an angel? And you fell from the Celestial Realm to be with him?
He finally pulled away from the hug to take in your appearance and that’s when he noticed the wings that were now attached to you.
His big hands reached out to touch them and, despite their size, the touch was gentle.
You blushed at the contact and Beel realized how intimate what he just did was.
He didn’t mean to act so brashly, but he couldn’t help it - your wings were beautiful.
He absolutely loved them and it just gave him more of you to love and cherish.
He took in your wings once more, burning the image of them into his mind, before pulling you into his embrace again and placing a loving kiss on your forehead.
“Thank you for coming back to me,” he told you, barely above a whisper, feeling like he had just regained his entire world.
You gave him a small smile before leaning up and placing your lips on his in a loving kiss before replying, “Thank you for loving me.”
Beel is not only happy about your new appearance but he’s thankful you have more power to help keep you safe in the Devildom now.
Belphie’s eyes are wide when he finally sees you again after all the time that had passed since you died.
He didn’t know how to react because he didn’t know how much he could trust what he was seeing.
He is immediately filled with love and relief but goes against his instinct to pull you into his embrace, choosing to get answers first.
You told him everything you could and Belphie almost couldn’t believe the words that you were saying.
When you were done with your explanation, you waited patiently for Belphie to speak.
“I don’t know if I believe you,” he replied after some time and you felt deflated. You didn’t know how to make him believe you were real.
“I mean the Y/N I knew could never be nice enough to be reborn as an angel,” he added with a teasing smirk dancing on his lips.
You were now glaring at him from the small insult and that look was all it took for him to know that it was really you.
“I mean you don’t even have wings,” Belphie continued. He loved being a brat and riling you up.
You let out a sigh before showing him your wings and that immediately shut him up as he looked at them with admiration.
A small blush rose to his cheeks as he averted his gaze, trying to hide his attraction to them.
But, you knew him too well and couldn’t help but want your revenge for his earlier comment.
“What’s the matter, Belphie? You don’t think they’re attractive do you?” you asked innocently and his blush only deepened.
The two of you often got into these battles, refusing to back down and this time was no different.
If it was a fight to make each other more flustered, he wanted to win just as much as you and it didn’t take him more than a moment to escalate things by pulling you into a kiss.
You might have some extra power and new wings now that you were a fallen angel, but your and Belphie’s relationship would always be the same no matter how you changed.
Barbatos hadn’t given Diavolo any indication as to what was going on when he asked him to come to the main foyer.
But, of all the things, he did not expect to see his lover who had recently died standing there before him.
Diavolo was overwhelmed by what he was feeling when he saw you there, wanting nothing more than to go to you.
He looked to his friend and butler, silently asking for confirmation that you were really there.
Barbatos nodded his head and in an instant, Diavolo was standing in front of you, gently cupping your cheek as his golden eyes looked into yours.
“Have you really come back to me?” he asked, searching your eyes for any sign of this being fake despite Barbatos confirming it was real.
You placed one of your hands over his own before nodding your head and explaining how you were standing there before him.
Diavolo was confused as to how you were reborn as an angel, but he focused on the second part of your story.
You fell from grace - for him. And that detail made him fall in love with you all over again.
You pulled away from his touch for a moment to show him your wings and Diavolo’s eyes darkened as he looked at them.
Not only were you an angel - but you were a fallen angel and there was something incredibly alluring about that. There was something that felt wrongfully right about that. Especially to the future King of the Devildom.
Diavolo wasted no time in inviting you to his bedroom, wanting to finally feel your touch again.
Not to mention the fact that he wanted to test out your new strength as a fallen angel.
Barbatos was the one who sought you out instead of the other way around.
But, with his powers, what else could be expected?
You had died before and he was able to bring you back, but something was different this time. He couldn’t bring you back like before and it was like driving a knife through his heart.
He didn’t give up hope though. He promised himself he would find a way to revive you. To bring you back to him.
And, while he was searching he happened to catch a glimpse of you. It should have been impossible because you were dead - right?
He looked further into it and that’s when he saw everything from you being reborn to everything that led up to you falling to come back to him.
And he met you right at the spot you fell at. You were disoriented and in pain, but as you slowly came to, you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around you.
When your vision cleared, you saw none other than Barbatos holding you, a small smirk resting on his face as he asked, “What have you gotten yourself into this time, darling?”
And that pet name was enough to send a shiver down your spine as you looked into his green eyes that were shining with excitement.
They trailed down your face before flickering over to your wings - wings that had been manipulated from ones of light to ones of darkness because of the fall.
And he found a twisted gratification in the idea of you “falling from grace”. But, who could blame him? He was a demon and you were his lover.
He immediately took you back to the Demon Lord’s Castle and spent the rest of the night with you.
He had spent far too much time away from you and he had a lot to make up for.
Simeon had returned to the Celestial Realm after his time in the Devildom, but something was fundamentally different about him ever since he lost you.
He didn’t smile as much and the look in his eyes was noticeably duller because he had lost the love of his life.
Simeon was the first to find out that you were being reborn as an angel and the news had shaken him to his core.
He didn’t know what the proper response was to finding out your lover was not only coming back to life but being reborn as an angel.
He demanded he be there when you woke up from the deep slumber you had previously been in.
And he watched over your body as you slept, praying that it would work. Praying that you would come back to him.
When you slowly fluttered your eyes open, Simeon had to hold back his tears as he immediately pulled you into his arms, his head resting in the crook of your neck.
He took in everything about you and you let out a small chuckle at how tightly he was holding onto you.
“I missed you,” he mumbled against you, his lips brushing against your neck and sending a shiver down your spine.
He pulled back to look into your eyes and couldn’t help the smile that formed across his lips.
You stretched your wings out, wanting to see your new appearance and you took them in before looking at Simeon.
A small blush tinted your cheeks as you saw him staring at your wings with a kind of intensity that was far too intimate for any setting but the bedroom.
“How do they look?” you asked him and he brought his eyes to meet yours, feeling the pain that he had been feeling steadily washing away.
He gently stroked your cheek with his thumb before stating, “You’re beautiful.”
Solomon had been searching high and low for the most powerful grimoires in the world, trying to find any way to bring you back to life.
And he wasn’t going to stop until he found a way to have you back in his arms.
But, he never would have dreamed that you would come back to him all on your own.
It didn’t matter if you were a fallen angel or if you still had your grace. Solomon loved you either way.
You could have come back in any form and he would love you, as long as you were you.
If you stayed in your true angel form, Solomon can’t help but think you’re the most beautiful thing in the world.
The passion wouldn’t change in your relationship and he had to admit there was something taboo and sinful about being intimate with you as an angel.
But that made things all the more exciting, especially because he knew how powerful you were now.
If you had fallen from grace to return to the Devildom, Solomon would still think you were just as beautiful.
But instead of an innocent beauty, it was one that demanded everyone’s attention.
You looked badass and the dark and slightly twisted look of your angelic appearance was enough to drive him mad with attraction.
As an angel, he would know you had newfound power, but as a fallen angel, there’s an even more intimidating presence that came with that power.
Solomon was used to being the most powerful being in the room, but with you being reborn, your power felt like it matched, if not overpowered, his own and that idea was exhilarating.
Whether you were a fallen angel or not, Solomon would waste no time in being with you.
Regardless of your status of grace, you were his lover and he felt like it had been too long since he had been able to remind you of that fact.
I was feeling a bit down lately. I had no reason to feel bad which somehow made me feel worse. I wasn’t complaining about where I am, in fact I’m grateful. Who wouldn’t love having amazing friends and a wonderful boyfriend?
Well that was kinda my problem. I felt like I don’t deserve any of this. My boyfriend was a freaking ANGEL! He was literally perfect, and he loves ME! I’m just a lowly scummy human, how does he even love me?
I was moping about this in my room listening to music trying to cheer myself up. I was staring out my window looking at the wildlife in the bleak world of Devildom. No sun probably wasn’t helping my mood, I missed the warm feeling of sunlight hitting my skin. It is scientifically proven that sunlight makes a human more happy and that’s why people get more depressed in winter. I think I’m experiencing S.A.D.
I let out a sigh, a huge frown on my face. I’ve sinned and I’m not the prettiest. Simeon deserves an angel girlfriend. What if I’m corrupting him and he’s forced to fall from the heavens? I would feel even more guilty cause it would be my fault.
Closing my eyes I tried to just focus on the lyrics of the song. Simeon loves me for a reason, I can’t stop his feelings. I don’t want him to stop loving me, no that’s a selfish thought. I clenched my hands in frustration, why must these thoughts pester me? Why can’t I just enjoy something good for once?
*𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜*
I looked at my D.D.D. to see I got a message from Simeon.
Angel: I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date?
(Y/n): Of course, when and where?
Angel: Today if that’s alright, I was thinking we could head to Hell’s Kitchen.
(Y/n): I’ll be ready in a few! Can’t wait <3
Angel: I’ll be there soon love <3
I stood up, hopefully this will clear my head. I looked around my closet trying to find a suitable outfit to wear. I wanted to doll myself up for Simeon, I want to make him not regret being with me. Ah I know he would never feel that way, he’s too nice. I chose to wear a black high waisted skirt and a black shirt with a cat print on the front. I put on tights under the skirt and went to the living room to wait. I fidgeted with the hem of my skirt as I kept glancing at my D.D.D. I then got a text from Simeon saying he was outside.
I was almost out of the door completely before I was stopped by Satan. “Where do you think you’re going?” He asked raising an eyebrow in amusement.
“I’m heading out with Simeon,” I replied with a slight blush as Satan chuckled. I glanced out to see Simeon looking at me with a smile and I smiled back.
“Just make sure to come back before curfew,” Satan said giving me a small wave.
“Will do,” With that I left the house with no more interruptions. I stood in front of Simeon and spoke up, “Shall we go?”
“We shall,” Simeon replied holding his arm out for me to hold onto. I linked my arm with his and we made our way to Hell’s Kitchen for a dinner date. We had small talk but I could tell that something was on his mind. We ordered some food and we took a seat. I looked over him and thought about how perfect he looked in any situation.
“Simeon is something wrong?” I asked out with concern.
“Table 20?” A waiter asked before Simeon could answer me.
“Ah yes that’s us!” Simeon smiled brightly as the waiter set the tray on the table then left.
I looked at him expectantly as we each grabbed our food and started eating.
“This tastes amazing!” He exclaimed. I couldn’t tell if he was changing the subject or if he forgot about what I asked.
“Yes it is exceptionally good,” I replied. “But are you alright?”
“I’m fine (n/n)! Why wouldn’t I be?” Simeon asked looking confused.
“Well you just…” I trailed off thinking how to rephrase my sentence. “It seemed like something was on your mind but maybe it was just my imagination.”
It was silent for a bit as we continued eating and once again he seemed lost in thought. Okay so it definitely isn’t my imagination. I couldn’t stop myself from worrying about what he was possibly thinking. Was he thinking of ways to break up with me without hurting me? I knew it was only a matter of time but it felt way too soon. He caught me hook line and sinker and I don’t want to let go. I felt my worries start to pile up before Simeon broke the silence.
“Are you okay (y/n)?” He asked. I looked up into his teal eyes that shone with curiosity, love, and worry.
“I’m fine, why?” I asked tilting my head in confusion.
“W-well, I got a text from Asmodeus that you seemed down lately,” Simeon explained making me feel a sudden wave of panic flow through me. Am I making him worry? Was I so obvious that everyone noticed? “I just want to know what’s going on, you can tell me you know.”
I stared at Simeon, my mind was reeling. What should I do? Should I tell him? Or should I just brush it off? If I brush it off Simeon might worry even more though and I don’t want that! But if I tell him maybe he’ll actually leave me. My mind went blank as I felt him rest his hand on top of mine on the table. He was looking at me with sad eyes and I knew what I should do.
I stood up holding Simeon’s hand in mine. He stood up with me and we left the restaurant. “Let’s go somewhere more private,” I spoke up as we walked down the street. He guided me to the Hall of Purgatory and we went to his room right away. We both sat down on his bed.
“I feel like I don’t do enough for you,” I mumbled looking down at my hands which laid in my lap. “You deserve so much more.”
Simeon stared at me in shock and he seemed confused. It took him a few minutes to think of a response as he seemed to not understand what I said. Jeeze now I felt like an idiot.
“I don’t care if I deserve more or not. I don’t need all the extra stuff, and I don’t need you to go out of your way,” He said placing a hand on my shoulder. I felt so confused and loved.
“What do you need then?” I asked, wanting to prove how much he means to me.
“A hug,” Simeon said with the most pure look ever. I flustered as I wrapped my arms around his back. He returned the embrace by wrapping his arms around my waist squeezing me slightly. He nuzzled his face into my neck as I giggled slightly. I was so happy and so loved that I couldn’t stop the giant smile that graced my lips, and frankly I didn’t want to stop. I reveled in this feeling, of how much we cared about each other.
He is incredibly patient, as we all know, but he makes sure to really take his time and makes sure you are comfortable with whatever he does. Yes, even hand holding
He doesn't make it obvious, but he is a bit nervous early on in the relationship
He practically talks Luke's ears off about it
Later on in the relationship he definitely gets a lot more clingy with his affections (As long as you're comfortable with it of course)
He's like your personal cheerleader, he's super supportive
Compliments you 24/7, sometimes even by pure accident.
You have to help him with his D.D.D a lot, you also need to make sure he doesn't accept scams by accident
