This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 3: Married Life! :D One of the adorable things about Kusakabe and Sajou is that they’re so snuggly with each other and from what we’ve seen of their married life they continue that trend. ^_^ So I wanted to draw such a scene where Sajou wanted to stay up late studying and Kusakabe fell asleep cuddling him. ^_^

Danbrey Week 2019

Hey everyone! 

In celebration of the wonderful relationship between Aubrey and Dani I thought it’d be fun to hold a week dedicated to them! I took a poll and the week of October 20th - October 26th is what won out!

Prompts

Since we’re getting close to Halloween and Fall is starting soon (in the northern hemisphere) I thought that a Fall/Halloween theme would be fun. I also thought it’d be fun to give everyone options on each day, so there are two options each day!

How do I participate? 

Well, there are going to be loads of ways! Just choose the medium that you prefer, pick a prompt, and go at it! It could be art, writing, cosplay, song, tiktok... the options are really endless! I’ve opened up a collection over on Ao3 and I’ll be promoting this over on Instagram, so if you’re more active other places feel free to post there, too! 

The best way for me to see what you’ve done and reglog it, though, is to make a post here and tag it as #danbreyweek2019 and/or tag @danbreyweek. I’ll then reblog it here! 

I’ve opened up the submit option here, so if you do post your stuff other places, feel free to drop the link there and I’ll share it here for everyone to see! If you’d rather submit your piece, please make sure to include how to best credit yourself!! 

Also, I know that everyone has busy lives, so you’re more than welcome to participate as much or as little as you’d like!

This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 4: Dreams! :D In Blanc Ch 6 when Sajou had that nightmare about how he could never hug his mother, I was expecting we’d get a scene later on, such as at his wedding, where he hugged her. But since we didn’t get that (Kumiiiiiii T_T ) I’m just going to headcanon that the dream he had when he fell asleep at his wedding was one where after the ceremony Kumi came up to say congratulations and Sajou pulled her into a hug. T_T <3

This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 2: Onsen! :D 

If I’m remembering correctly, Sajou’s objection to the onsen was that he wouldn’t be able to see. But I found out that in Japan they make onsen glasses that are only $20-40 that are fog-resistant and heat-resistant so people who need glasses all the time can still see at onsen! :D So I’m headcanoning that Kusakabe bought Sajou a pair and they went on their honeymoon at the onsen he wanted to take Sajou to back when they first got together. ^_^

This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 7: Free Day! :D I didn’t have time to do my initial idea for the AU prompt option for today because it would have involved 6 characters. ^^;  So instead I went with the Free Day prompt option and drew Sorano doing one of his model photoshoots in a field of hydrangeas! ^_^ Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and I think Sorano’s pink hair will look really nice against the blue/pink/purple shades of the hydrangeas once I get a chance to paint it. :D

This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 1: Karaoke! :D Back when Nakamura Asumiko was taking suggestions for the Opera Subscriber Bonus Booklet comic, I suggested Sorano, Hara, and Koma at karaoke. She didn’t do that (although I feel like I still won because there was a Sorano, Hara, and Koma comic in it :D ), so I’ve wanted to draw such a scene ever since. This prompt seemed like the perfect time to do it! :D Hara strikes me as the type to get REALLY into karaoke, especially when drunk. XD 

Life had been so insanely busy in the time since they announced the prompts, so I only was able to get sketches done for each day. >_< But I do have a completed sketch for each day and will do my best to get at least some painted before they stop taking submissions!
