Alright. So Rook is obviously a super scary ler, but part of me thinks he kinda wishes sometimes that people would try and tickle him back sometimes. He'd probably be a super open lee that doesn't get embarrassed at all and is very transparent about enjoying it and having fun.

I can see Malleus being a pretty shy ler actually. Like I feel he'd be super light to the point it almost doesn't even tickle at all? Especially with humans because he sees them as more fragile and doesn't wanna hurt them. Also can casually say tickle without so much as missing a beat.

Sebek is really loud normally, but I kinda think he'd be painfully shy as both a ler and a lee. Like he's afraid to be seen as childish so he rarely ever does it unless he's tag teaming with Malleus, and even then he's more focused on making sure his life does get kicked or something. God forbid Malleus ever turn it on him though. He'd actually explode.

Most of the time, Riddle is a super awkward ler. Shy and inexperienced. That is until he's doing it as punishment. Then he can be a little rough and once or twice, Trey had to remind him to lighten up because it was borderline painful to whatever poor soul was getting it. Additionally, I think he'd actually become one of the best lers rather quickly. Like he's inexperienced, but Riddle is nothing if not earnest about being perfect in everything so within a few months after his overblot, he's got it down. Dude's literally doing study on how to best tickle people. Also occasionally will interrupt Ace and Deuce's tickle fights to freaking lecture them on it and they're just like 0-0

Everyone talks about Idia having a secret tickle blog, which yes. But also consider this. Lilia also has one. And they're mutuals. Lilia would low-key be so casual about it too and if anyone found out and asked him about it? He'd immediately say yes.

As for people who are silent when tickling someone. Immediately the first person that came to mind were Jack and Malleus. Jack because he's low-key also embarrassed and Malleus because he's genuinely invested in listening to the laughter. He thinks it's especially cute when humans laugh and occasionally takes a leaf out of Lilia's book and tweaks people's sides at random. Never gets caught. No one would ever suspect him of it.

Cater has a super breathy suppressed laugh because he holds it in. His real laugh is super screechy and uncharming in his opinion, so it takes a lot to pull it out of him. For all his teasy talk, he's a pretty shy lee for the most part.

Also as for people who suck at teasing? Kalim. Yeah. He's way too earnest and can't get that teasing cadence if he tried. He'd try to be like "tickle tickle tickle~" and just starts laughing midway through. Can't even finish because it's so silly. Which makes his lee laugh harder. And he laughs harder at them until they're both just wheezing at eachother. Jamil is just watching in the corner like -_-

Jack also can't tease for the life of him. Part of the reason he's such a quiet ler is because one time he tried teasing Ruggie while tickling and the little jerk was laughing more at him than actually being tickled.

Speaking of Ruggie. I've low-key been thinking about those two bonding over being fed up with Leona's antics, and I had a cute thought of Vil deciding to make him over one day. Finds out Ruggie's face is super sensitive to the little brushes, and in addition to his little gremlin laugh, he also has a really soft, sweet breathy laugh when he's being tickled really lightly. It's just that barely anyone knows because Savanaclaw's tickle fights are usually of the rougher variety.

anyway THESE ARE REAL jack with a super quiet laugh is real trust me. its partially because he's embarrassed to laugh loudly but also because he just...doesnt LMAO?? he'd totally get embarrassed tickling someone too i can't explain it i just know in my soul

also kalim giggling along with the lee!!!! the most teasy thing he does is compliment them and point out their reactions but he's not even trying to embarrass them he just genuinely thinks it's adorable

Heya! I don't think we've really interacted before, but I recently started becoming interested in greek mythology themed media after falling in love with epic, and in the process, I saw one of your fics about an anime called blood of zeus? I've seen mixed reviews about it, but I'd prefer to ask someone who's a fan of the show rather than harsh critics on the internet y'know?^^` I was just wondering if I could ask your thoughts on it before I checked it out? Totally cool if you're not into it anymore though or you just don't wanna answer in general. I hope you have a wonderful day!

So glad that you’re interested in this show! Even tho it’s by the same people who made Castlevania & Castlevania Nocturne, it doesn’t seem to be as popular. The writing & animation is still just as good, & the designs for all the different gods are really cool & unique!

Of course it takes liberties with the mythology, so it’s not 100% faithful in that aspect, but then again it’s a SHOW & shows take creative liberty with stories like this. Like they make Zeus out to be a lot more sympathetic & likable, but he’s still a cheating piece of shit & the show wouldn’t have even happened if he had just stayed faithful to Hera in the first place. But that’s just Zeus being Zeus lmao, & you’re kinda meant to have complex feelings about him, because our protagonist Heron himself has mixed feelings about him, & he’s completely justified with that!

If you’re a fan of Hera, I can understand why you might not like this show as much because she’s the main villain for most of the show, but they do try to redeem her (I say “try” because it’s the viewer’s choice whether they think she’s redeemed or not, but for me she’s made up for all she’s done. Plus I just think she’s a fun character & we need more evil women)

I really like how they handled the Hades & Persephone arc & it really helps add more to the show! I’ve always been a fan of the version of the myth where they were lovers & she makes the choice to spend half the year in the underworld with him. Their romance is honestly one of my favorite aspects of the last season, it’s genuinely a beautiful story

Heron is a character made specifically for the show & isn’t actually in any real mythology, but I think they do a good job fleshing him out & integrating him into the world around him. A lot of the critics I hear are about how he’s generic & bland, but I think those people are just trying to complain. Logically, Zeus has a lot of bastard children & it isn’t too far fetched to believe that out of all of them, he’d have a favorite that he’d want to keep an eye on & be close to, especially if he knew the power that he possessed

Seraphim is another main antagonist alongside Hera & has a stronger connection to our hero, & creates some really beautiful parallels for us to follow & connect the dots. It shows us what we are all capable of becoming if we let hate & revenge drive us, & his arc is one of the most compelling in the show. Truly one of the most beautifully tragic characters to watch. Redemption & forgiveness are a large part of what makes this show feel so special, & that’s largely in part because of Seraphim

The other supporting characters are really interesting to get to know, both the humans & other gods. It has such a large cast, & it’s hard to juggle that many characters, so it can feel like some of the gods are underutilized at times

I’m trying to be as vague as possible here, but I feel like the main issue a lot of people have with the show is the fact that pretty much all of the love arcs have a sad or bittersweet end to them. People are used to a happy ending where the couple lives happily ever after, but not every story is meant to end like that. It shows that everything that happened has consequences, & a price must be paid to make a better tomorrow, but we can still move forward

At the end of the day, this is a show about family, redemption, love & sacrifice. I know it’s not a perfect show, but it’s a show that wears its heart on its sleeve & the passion from everyone who worked in it is clear as day

I'm going through book 2 just now and found out about Ruggie's UM. I had a thought that he'd be op in tickle fights because he'd legit be able to make the other person tickle THEMSELVES. He'd be screwed if they manage to catch him off guard, but otherwise I love the idea of him being a menace and randomly messing with people around school with this trick.

this is the general Community Reaction to his um i think LMAO like it's literally called laugh with me?? and you're expecting me to believe he DOESN'T use it for evil????

Ahhhh uhhhh ler rengoku or tengen with lee zenitsu cuz he's my baby fggkgjgkgkg

Despite how he may act, Zenitsu doesn't actually hate Uzui. The man is annoying, yes, but to give credit where credit is due, he is strong, and he keeps them all safe. He has a way of pissing Zenitsu off, but it's in a sort of familial way, like an older brother or uncle. Not that Zenitsu will ever say that out loud—hell, he won't even admit that to himself.

Right now, though, any reluctant admiration he may have for that man is gone.

"D-dahamn you!" he shrieks, thrashing about wildly as Tengen's thumbs knead into his hips. "I ha-hahate you so muhuhuch!"

"See, that's your problem," Tengen says, "you're such a brat. This is why no one likes you."

Zenitsu is having the worst time of his life. Tengen finding out he's ticklish is probably the most humiliating thing to ever happen to him. Damn it, why'd he have to survive this long? Being eaten by a demon has never sounded so appealing. To think he could be off marrying someone beautiful right now...

The worst part is that Tengen somehow knows every fucking spot, everything that makes him practically scream. Which, honestly, is just about anywhere, but still. It's not fair!

"Let me gohoho!" Zenitsu cries, a new wave of laughter spilling out when the tickling moves under his arms. "You bahastard!"

Tengen grumbles under his breath. "You're so annoying, you know? You've got too much attitude. I'm trying to teach you a lesson."

As if Zenitsu can even think straight right now, let alone change his entire personality.

I hc that whenever he's tutoring Deuce and he notices him getting stressed or distracted, Riddle will start tickling him to get his attention refocused. He originally started doing it because he saw Ace doing something similar to him. At first he was gonna scold him for being a distraction to him until he realized that it actually did get Deuce back on track. I kinda wanna write a fic about it at some point.^^

THIS IS SO CUTE he always changes his tutoring methods to match however the student learns best, so i can see him incorporating a little tiny bit of playfulness in there because it helps keep them focused (deuce's words) and makes it less boring (ace's words)
