Not a request or anything, but a friend and I were talking about Umemiya and Sakura and thought I'd share! Ume would def dote on Sakura because he realizes how neglected/touchstarved the kid is. He likes to do the whole scary tk monster thing with the first and second years just to play around and bond with them, but whenever he first tries it on Sakura? He just stared at him when he put the claw hands up and told him he should run. Sakura actually squares up thinking it's a legit fight lol
Also, hc that Sakura has a super hiccupy and sporadic laugh and he flails like a fish cuz his body lehit just. Has no clue how to react to that sort of stuff. He doesn't hate it though... It's kind of fun and makes him feel unexplainably warm, and he privately thinks the whole 'big brother' thing isn't so bad. He'll never admit it though!
AHHH OH MA GAWD YES!!!! Sakura's always assuming it's a fight which is both hilarious and kinda heartbreaking for the Bofurin leader. He's so gentle too when he first tickles Sakura- never going too far and making sure to stop when he's told. Eventually Sakura catches on he does it to everyone and is straight up like "Yo why do you go so easy on me? I'm not a wuss, I can take it!" #instantregret but like you said he kinda likes it so he can't complain too much karjeajkrjkaejrk
That's so CUTE AHHH! I love the idea of sporatic hiccup laughs mixed with loud angry threats of violence for Sakura kjaerjkaekjrajkejkr Like- "hehehehe! KNOCK IT OFF! Hehehehehe! I'LL KICK YOUR AHHASS" jklafrjkleajkrlejkrjk (it's giving lil gideon) I love how he really does start thinking of Ume as an older brother at one point but tries to be super subtle. (Spoiler alert; he's so obvious) If Suo teases him about being fond of "big brother Ume" Sakura gets all blushy and squawks about "I'm not calling him my big brother! S-Shut up! You wanna go?" Umemiya is over the moon when he learns this; you'd catch him on the roof singing songs to his plant babies in his joy!
