Fanfic Rant: List for My Joker Story [Almost Done]

Here is the almost complete list for Arthur and Joker’s personality and manners:

Arthur:

- Laughter is caused by stress or nervousness (PBA)

- Awkward; isolated, likes to be alone

- Delusional 

- Defends his views (Emotion)

- Will get serious at times

- Has a reason behind killing, but isn’t justified 

- Unreliable Narrator 

- Loves being noticed

- Has confidence

- Dances without a care

This is the list so far. I do need help on more things I can get from anyone! I do welcome help with this list. I want to get them as close to the canon universe as possible. 😊

I’m not really sure what people’s standards of “yandere fanfiction” are, but hoo boy. Literally most of the yandere fanfiction I come across have the same outcome. Yandere’s true personality shows, and bam! Love interest is scared and is taken away/runs away, blah blah blah- tragic ending for love interest. 

Can’t we have a yandere story where the love interest NEVER finds out- like at all? Blissfully ignorant is a good ending too.

Fanfic Plan: A Rant

So, Im writing Joker story ideas on Google Docs. It’s going to be a fanfic, but there is a problem:

I HAVE TO REWATCH THE FILM TO GET THE CHARACTERS RIGHT! 

I’m already on Chapter 12, still working on it, but then—it hits me in a face like a sign. 

I would like some help on both Arthur and Joker’s personalizes and mannerisms. You can make a list, if you want. I’m not going to force you.

I’ll make my own list, and then I’ll see about some help.

I want to get them both as canon as I can get them.

Something I've been noticing for a while on AO3 tbh. Especially when it involves series of one-shots for multiple fandom stories.

Like i get it that thinking up titles for fics can be very hard. So instead of posting the fics individually for the separate fandom, i see lotsa people posting one main fic and tagging multiple fandoms to it. And this doesn't even counting the pairing tags, character tags and additional tags. Because of that you see some fics with a giant walls of tags... which was such hell to view on mobile.

Kinda wished people would stop this practice. Like there IS a better alternative if you really want to connect all the different fandom one shot fics in one group. Aka grouping all the different fandom fics in one series. The series option on AO3 is one of the things I liked about the site. Other than the fact you can post different fics from a different fandom with the same title.

Like FF.net don't allow you to do that. All fic titles must be very unique. And on FF.net it was a hassle to have to request for a new fandom category whenever you wanna write on a new show. Like the support admin don't always get back to you/replying your request emails ASAP. Like I'm not even sure if they're still around... managing the site.

Which was why I wished people don't abuse the AO3 system or complain that the site don't behave the way you want. You should be glad that there's a good archive for fics like AO3 that lets you share your creations without any limits (on fandom).

Is it just me or is every OC/Reader in basically most of the bnha fanfic have super tragic backstories? That or like they’re somehow connected to the villains because of super strong powers and the villains want their power? I feel I see this 99.9999999% of the time. I’m just trying to find a decent fanfic and bam- villain lurking in the corner cause of OC/Reader.
