Her age is unknown precisely, though ranges somewhere in the three digits. She hasn't kept track, at some point she stopped, realizing all it did was cause her more grief.
While boasting the usual advantages of a vampire, Kanade's best strengths seem to lie in the more illusionary aspects. Altering the mind and memory, causing illusions using auditory or visual hallucination, and attempts to manipulate the will. Ironically, manipulation is the skill she detests having the most, and when she has a choice in the matter is avoidant of it.
Consequently, when someone finds out what she can do through eye contact, eye contact becomes something she can rarely bring herself to do, due to assuming she can't be trusted with it.
While as physically capable as most vampires, she dislikes physical violence, and normally never resorts to it.
She's actually poorly disciplined with restraint and control over herself, but interestingly does whatever she can to avoid becoming violent at others, often resulting in other odd behaviors instead.
She's strange. She's purposeless and normally quite harmless, yet finds herself plagued more often than not by emotional instability and rather unreasonable attempts at making enemies in the places she ends up at, whether it's intentional or not. But if there's a goal she has set for behaving so erratically and refusing to let most see who the actual Kanade Yoisaki is, it isn't one she shares so easily with just anyone. If she's telling you, she must think pretty highly of your ability to help her reach it.
Honestly I think this particular Kanade does actually still hurt herself, but you wouldn't be able to tell because she heals from it pretty quickly and she avoids using methods that would actually damage her in any way that matters.

Fanged verse's usual body temperature normally run pretty low. She's closer to the undead type of vampire (while not fully so, it's easier to compare her to that type), and she runs cold enough that someone unaware might just think she has some strangely severe case of anemia ("I guess I do technically").
That said, cold weather's definitely bane of hers. While it doesn't hinder her, it does still make her uncomfortable to be left in cold locations.
As a vampire, Kanade in her extensive free time has learned more instruments and methods of musical expression, as it remains something important to her and something that keeps her sane when she wants to rely on it.
Aside from an exceptional amount of time spent honing her soft, soothing singing voice, she not only still knows the piano, but enjoys guitar (largely acoustic and similar), violin, the flute, and harps. With more modern technology, she has also learned how to compose music for online uploads, but she still also has a personal enjoyment for her other skills, and she actually finds them more distracting when it's a distraction that she needs.
